I ordered the fish and chips. The service was fine, the fish came looking like corn dogs, very little fish with at least an eight inch of breading all around and not fully cooked at that. The fries were also dusted with flour for that golden coloring, not for taste. It is our layover hotel here, in an area without many choices, so that is disappointing. At least I don’t get here often.

Never even heard of this place until I saw it on the list for IE Restataurant Week so we thought we’d give it a try. We didn’t realize it was located inside the Ontario Airport Hotel so it was a tad confused at first. There was no sign outside the hotel either. We came here around noon and were the second customers in the whole restaurant. Hotel seemed a little dead. Probably see more customers during the holidays? Anyway, there was only one waiter at the time but he greeted us promptly and was very friendly. I ordered off the restaurant week menu($ 20 per person for lunch). I had the cream of cauliflower as my first course. Light and creamy. I thought it was very nice. For the second course I chose the artichoke and spinach capellini. I liked this also even if it had black olives in it. It came with a side of garlic bread. For the last course I chose the strawberry short cake. It was alright. Nothing spectacular but a nice end to a good meal. My boyfriend ordered off the regular menu. He had the tuna melt and buffalo wings. He liked the tuna melt because the tuna didn’t taste like it came out of a can and it wasn’t greasy at all like most sandwich melts. The buffalo wings were really good. Not overly fried but just a little crispy on the outside. The buffalo sauce was excellent. It had a nice kick to it. Overall it was a good experience. Friendly waiter, clean restaurant, and good food. However, I am taking one star off. Even though the food was good I thought it was still pretty expensive judging by the prices off the regular menu. But I am glad we discovered this place. Would have never known that this restaurant existed if it weren’t for IE Restaurant Week. I would suggest that the hotel put some kind of sign outside so people would know to check it out.

Great place, great value, hidden gem in Ontario. Blu is located in the Ontario Airport Hotel, which used to be a Hilton. Just navigate to 700 N. Haven, and go inside the hotel. I’ve been here twice, brought friends there, and everyone has enjoyed it. They have a $ 13 menu that is awesome. Incredible value. Smoked beef loin, Cedar Plank Salmon, stuffed chicken breast… all very well done. I can’t say enough about the team at this restaurant. They over-perform and over-deliver. I guess they have something to prove since the Hilton name came off the building, and boy are they proving it. first…it’s Blu. That is the name, It is not Blu bar and grill. Just Blu. They were setting up for Mother’s Day Brunch as I was checking out, and based on the menu I looked at it appears to be an awesome affair. This it probably the best place for Mother’s day in the Inland Empire. They served 400 last year. We were going to head home early, but we’re returing for the Mother’s Day brunch. Go there. You will not be disappointed.

Came here because we stayed at the Hotel, and the food here was really good! So good in fact that our 2 year old ate all of her food, and she doesnt eat anything! Great buffet if you stay at the hotel.

Philly Mac and cheese. Sounds way better than it is. Burger sliders. Meh. Not great either. Disappointed after all the reviews. 33 $ later and I’m throwing away half of it. I won’t eat here again.

I like this place. I stay at the Hilton a lot for business and Blu Bar & Grill is always a good place to grab a bite, a beer, and watch some sports to unwind after a long day. The food is a little pricier, but it’s a hotel restaurant/bar, so you can’t really expect cheap. The steaks and sandwiches are good. Bar tenders are nice. The only thing that it lacks is a big screen TV at the bar. There are like 10+ smaller TVs.

My wife and stayed at this hotel as part of a Living Social promotion, which included dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The dinner was VERY good. We both had the salmon entrée and the fish tasted fresh and was properly cooked. The bread bowl was very good with fresh warm bread, including wheat rolls. The corkage was only $ 8.00, which is the cheapest I’ve ever seen. What really caught our eye was the healthiest options for breakfast we have seen anywhere in any hotel. In addition, to the usual fare, such as pancakes, sausage, etc., the buffet includes fresh berries, Greek yogurt, regular yogurt, etc.; however, they can also prepare egg white omelettes, as well as vegan dishes and gluten free dishes. The manager advised that they are working on expanding this area of their offerings even further.

Truly one of the better of business hotel restaurants. Not exactly an original menu, but the portions are decent and executed well. Considering you can’t really walk to any alternatives, it is refreshing to see the hotel make the effort to provide a place that people will actually enjoy.
