The line is epic inside and there were 14 cars at Drive-Up. I counted. I simply wanted a loaf of bread to go with our homemade soup tonight. Yup. Just a loaf of bread. ONE register open. One. After 10 minutes in line, the manager opened the 2nd register. Unbelievable. ps. Manager waited on exactly two customers, then left the register. What the heck?

Helen Keller would have a better chance of getting a drive through order correct. As I read the other reviews, it is clear that this is a known problem and they just don’t care.

Went through drive-thru and got soup and sandwich. When I got home I found the sandwich inedible due to the bread being so soggy. like mush. I thought oh well. I will just eat the salad. opened container and on top was a black and grey hair. I brought it back and asked for money back. they asked if I wanted to order something else. obviously not so they gave me a refund. That was fine. except no apology. they made me feel like I inconvenienced them. Blah will and cannot ever eat there again… too bad because I used to love it.

For the second time in 3 months(and I don’t visit often), this location has totally screwed up my to-go order. Nothing PO’s a person at the end of a long day more than going out of your way for a convenient, and not inexpensive, meal just to get home to find you’ve gotten the shaft. From there, you have two options. Go back and bitch, or call and bitch. Ok, third option is to take the shaft in full and cry yourself to sleep and/or break stuff(not smart). Thank God for my wife. She called and got a free salad(well, not free… a «makeup» salad — voucher to be issued). My temper was not conducive to such a phone call. The last time they screwed up, I went back in person, and the manager did nothing for me. I about jumped the counter. Luckily, an email to Panera customer service made up for that sitch. I digress. In fact, I didn’t even mention what happened. I ordered«Rapid Pickup» for the first time ever, and even looked through the bags before leaving the restaurant — too tired to realize the full salad I had ordered was in half-size and the extra chicken I had paid EXTRA for was nowhere to be seen. And plastic ware? Two salads, one set. Now that’s attention to detail! So, what’s the take away? DON’T ORDERFROM A FASTCASUALRESTAURANTJUSTBEFORECLOSE, WHENTHELOCALHIGHSCHOOLKIDS(or adults who dropped OUT of high school) ARETHINKINGMOREABOUTGOINGHOMEIN10MINUTESTHANMAKINGSUREYOURORDERISCORRECT! Ah, I feel so much better after yelling in all caps… Goodnight!

I love the food at Panera, but the customer service is not consistent and employee competency is lacking. They’ve messed up my order so many times that I just come to expect it now. Ordered a bagel one time that was«for here»…What I got was a cold, untoasted bagel with a side of cream cheese. Who eats their bagels untoasted?! I would understand if it was a to-go order, but really?! Shame on me for assuming I guess. From then on, i have always asked for my bagel to be toasted. Lesson learned.

If your looking for an example of poor customer service by all means come to this Panera location. Treatment of customers is more like that of cattle being prodded towards thier feed. When what we wanted would be ready in 7 minutes we asked if we could pay now and have it brought out to us. This has been done for us at other locations, here the manager responded with«well, I’m not going to sell it to you!» She said the reason was she did not eant to accidentally sell it to someone else when it was done which demonstrates her inability to effectively communicate with her team over what should be a simple task that is customer service oriented. We have had a couple bad experiences at this location and do not plan to return.

Overpriced, not good quality and it’s def not worth the money. I’ve come here a couple times because it’s close to work and both times I wasn’t satisfied with the food or service. It’s at least $ 10 for lunch and the portions aren’t very big. I ordered a veggie sandwich and it was mostly bread with a small smear of hummus, a piece of lettuce, tomato and onion. The meal comes with one choice of potato chips or a small, dented up red delicious apple. The cashiers aren’t friendly or make you feel welcome. This place is not original and I’ve been disappointed on both visits I’d only return if I had a coupon for a free meal or someone I was with wanted to go and offered to buy mine. Nothing stands out. It’s probably just good for bagels or the other baked goods and coffee. They should have just stuck with that!

Whoever owns the Omaha franchises should be fired from the Panera name. It’s always slow, orders get screwed up and dirty there. I love Panera’s food but seriously what is wrong with this place? I had an email to get $ 5 off for trying a rapid order. The reward was not loaded to my account and after talking to three people on the phone and being transferred back and forth, it was never fixed. I eat there anyways and had a key ingredient missing from my to go sandwich which I find out when I get home. Another time I tried to use my reward and the system was down and the person taking my order just said there’s nothing they could do. Bathrooms are always dirty, and I’ve had orders screwed up continuously. They never make anything right with this place.

Order was messed up at the counter, felt very rushed, grounds in the coffee, dirty tables everywhere, 15 minute wait for food, dirty bathrooms. Soggy food, but better than McDonald’s.

Did a to go order here for a corporate event. Was told a time to pick up the order and I thought that the time he gave me was going to be too quick. I went there on time expecting be sitting around waiting for 15 minutes for the food as I have at other places in the area when getting to-go for the office. The line was one person deep and I watched this kid behind the counter who was on his A game with customer service. Having managed a retail store for 15 years I still judge with a managers eye no matter where I am. This kid had it down and I wish I would have taken his name. Sure enough my order was bagged up and ready to go at the time they stated. I have never been a Panera fan, but will probably continue to order for our office events at this location.

I’m a Panera regular and as others have noted, the food is always consistent. The service I experienced today was definitely sub-par. This won’t become a regular location I visit.

I’ve been going here for a long time because the food is good, the Internet access is usually good, and it’s close to where I grew up. For some reason, the place is always really dirty though. It’s been that way for years. Today, they ran out of spoons, so they never brought out my soup. The service is hit or miss.

It doesn’t really get much better than Panera when you want a hot bowl of soup, sandwich or a salad. Their seasonal menu keeps things fresh and also inspires you to not always get the same item. The food is consistently delicious and not always the most affordable but very satisfying.

It’s the same as their other locations. Consistent. Good sandwich and soup choices. Healthy choices too. My wife loves coming here… It’s not my favorite but I’ve never been disappointed. I do love their pastries and breads. This location is very relaxing and comfortable. If you’re looking for someplace to eat and chat… this is your place.

This place is busy, busy, busy. Still had no problem getting our order in and served. I like how they have a GPS system now that let’s them know what table you are at, so they bring the food right to you. I had my normal tomato and mozzarella panini, and it was as good as it always is no matter what Panera I’m at. The wife had a half tuna salad sandwich with a Greek salad. Had to bring the sandwich home, the salad was that big. Sat out on the patio and enjoyed the nice location and weather.

Always went to the one in Savannah, GA. This one holds up really good. Fresh food, great customer service. Always good for a quick, good meal.

The breads, bagels, and pastries are very good here. I particularly love the individual coffee cake when it’s available. I’m sure not to count the calories, though. On the meal menu side, I usually opt for a half sandwich and cup of soup, and am rarely disappointed. In cooler months I like to try to get a seat by the fireplace. I’d rate it as a decent value; you pay more than you would at any fast food chain, but the food is of significantly better quality.

I used to work at Panera(oakview) when I was in high school, and it has gone downhill since then, the soups anyway. That is, or should I say was, my favorite part about Panera was the Chicken & Wild Rice and Broccoli Cheddar soups. I know they come frozen in bags, and they thaw them in a warm bath type thing. When they are thawed, they add a specified amount of water to them depending on the soup. Both above listed soups are supposed to be thick, rich, creamy — yum. I havent been to Panera nearly as much as I used to because whoever is making these soups, or whatever they changed about them, sucks. They are runny and the color doesnt even look right — not appealing whatsoever. My friend from Phoenix(moved there 2 years ago) came home and went to Panera because she too loves the soups. She told me the same thing I’m telling you — something has changed. Its very disappointing, especially when they run out of bread as well. Something should change. I can always hope anyways.

I have come to love Panera. Any city, any state, you need a good place to work and enjoy some tea, this is the place. From Chicago, LA, Omaha, etc., I DEPEND on Panera and they never let me down. WIFI is simple, and generally fast. That said, this West Omaha location is the best I have seen in the country including all of the big cities.(They keep the radio low and on classical!) Yes, Woohoo! As good as it gets.
