Every time I’ve been here buying supplies the guys are super nice and helpful. Best prices in town. Plus, I love helping support the business of a local, young entrepreneur.

Freekin legit! I am from Seattle Washington where there are some crackin hookah bars and this place is pretty comparable. They could use a little more décor and better hookahs but the overall atmosphere is way better than there competitors. And i mean way way better haha. I should also add that they had live music and really good flavors. we had the twisted and it was like a mouth full of berry goodness.

The quality isn’t the greatest anymore in my eyes the store feels really greasy the lighting is not the best and the music is very dis functioned with the vibe of the place open mic should be a once and while thing not weekly if that was changed maybe I’d consider coming back but sorry hookah 402 you lost my business due to the crowds poor decision on how this place should be ran! BRING BACK THE ORIGNAL HOOKAH 402!

I really enjoyed the customer service that was provided. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. I love that the staff was so well educated on all of the products and were happy to educate me as well. They really took the time to give me what I was looking for and were happy to make suggestions as well. I will most definitely be returning to purchase my sheehsa and accessories.
Only downside was it was super small and the ventilation was bad. Otherwise I enjoyed my first experience!

This place is great, especially compared to your other options in Omaha. The owners are incredibly personable and very invested in making sure your experience is great. The hookah is ok, not the pinnacle of hookahs, but decent enough. Served in KM hookahs with coconut coals, the experience is predictable which is a plus in the hookah world. The downside would be the space itself, offering limited seating and no clean air ventilation. Where Hookah 402 shines is in their service. They truly provide 5 star service and make sure your experience a great one. There is absolutely no reason to smoke anywhere else in Omaha.

Unless its super duper packed it’s the best hookah bar in the whole state.
If they still have the iron man mask ask to use it while smoking. It’s a blast and a half. If you wanna hookah avoid Oasis and go to this place instead.

Owner is awesome, we came in on a very busy night and a guy threw up so it was taking forever to get our hookah. Our first time there, we were totally offended and was about to leave when the owner came in, apologized and gave us smokes on the house. Great laid back crowd. I will definitely come back next time I’m in town. Prices are decent and you know that staff can pack a bowl when Al Fakher lasts you a long time. They are really good about changing coals too.

By far my favorite hookah lounge in town. Beats all others in chill factor, badass owners, amazing products, and more! They have their own brand of tobacco, dokah and sell hookahs. Bring your own food and drink sit and chill with wifi!

Upon first entering I was worried because there was no décor, just empty walls, it made me nervous at first but as the night progressed it was a nice little spot to relax with some friends and smoke. I enjoyed all of the flavors we tried. Unlike some locations I’ve been to the music was being blasted so loud that you couldn’t hold a conversation. It had a very relaxed atmosphere and seemed to have plenty of regulars who would be glad to invite you over to try a flavor and chat a bit.

Awesome!!! Great flavors, great service, great people. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Can get free tea and water. And can bring in your own outside food and drink.

great place. the staff truly cares, they have a good stash for stuff and they play good music in a chill place. just taking a star away for mildly uncomfortable seats, but hey! maybe that’s the sign that i shouldn’t spend more than 1.5 hrs there at a time. GO

These guys know what they are doing. Great quality materials and AWESOME tobacco brands. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere like a hookah establishment should be. I took off one star for the seating. This could be improved.

Don’t let the bare décor and questionable furniture choices fool you, this is a great hookah lounge. Hookah 402 isn’t a dance club-​cum-​hookah-​bar you go to just to be seen. It’s a laid back place to enjoy a great hookah and talk with your friends.
We came in on a Saturday around 7:30 — 8:00 and there were very few customers, leaving plenty of seats for us to choose. Right away, the service was friendly and helpful. We talked a bit about what flavors we generally enjoy and the (I believe) owner made a recommendation that we agreed with. Our hookah came out promptly afterward, clean and perfectly prepared, and the staff made sure we had enough perfectly lit coals over the course of our stay.
As of the time of writing, here are a few more positives about this place:
–Complimentary water and tea. (No food provided, though you are allowed to bring yours in.)
–17 bucks is the most expensive shisha they have.
–High quality hookahs that don’t have the annoying throw-​away plastic hoses.
–Playing cards and bubbles provided at no cost.
–Live entertainment on Saturdays, other events through the week like movies on Wednesdays.
–Friendly, helpful, awesome service.
Now, there are things they could improve on, here. Better furniture would go a long way, as would adding some decoration. As I understand it, though, they’re fairly new and with time (and increased business) they’ll have the chance to fix these little things.
Omaha can now boast two hookah lounges, though they offer different experiences. Oasis downtown offers loud music, energetic crowds, bright DJ lights and alcohol, but Hookah 402 provides great service and excellent shisha in an atmosphere that actually allows you to relax. With that in mind, Hookah 402 is the clear winner in my book.
