Not happy with the server, she was not attentive at all. Took way too long to get service. If we were not here for our friends birthday we would have walked out. She was also wearing SWEATPANTS… Also prices and sizes were different with her from the same exact thing ordered at the bar. Consistency doesn’t happen here.

Have enjoyed drinks rooftop in the summer here, but not until late this fall have I been for dinner. The service was excellent and tried a few recommendations off the menu and loved it all. Our entire table was impressed as we were not expecting such great good. highly recommend the burger — it’s one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The pulled pork nachos were excellent as well. They had a variety of cocktails. Tried the pink lady made with grapefruit vodka. Fresh, crisp. Great drink.

If you like food, you should come here, because they make it for you. Not only that, but they have people bring it out to you. Kinda like a butler, only for a shorter period of time. Seriously, the food is awesome, and they have cold beer.

Great atmosphere but ordering 12 chicken wings at $ 18 is a bit misleading. Either clean up the menu or lower the prices. Wings were good, but not $ 18 good for a dozen.

This is a great place to visit if you’re in the mood for a chill, outdoor space to drink a few libations after a meal in Benson. I went to 1912 a few weeks ago and really enjoyed sitting outside on their rooftop bar with a few friends. As the sun was setting, the view was really quite something. It’s also great if you’re entertaining out of town guests and are wanting to describe the area to them. It gives you a great visual. They carry Stella cider, my fav gf hard cider. Perfect for a late summer or early fall evening.

Good food at a reasonable price, decent selection of beer. Horrible wait for food, even on a Tuesday night with only 10 – 12 other customers ordering food(and a sparsely populated bar), our food took 40 minutes for a salad and grilled sandwich. Frustrating when it’s not busy.

I have not tried their food, but they have a pretty good wine and beer selection. The rooftop is great, specially in those occasional Omaha starry nights. Music is in the background as so you don’t have to yell when speaking. Staff is cordial. I wish more of these were around in Omaha. Has several veggie options too.

I had the Strawberry kale and mixed greens salad with chicken. It was great! We couldn’t believe there was no duck poutine this time! We’ve had it before and it was awesome! My go-to drink every time I go is the Apple Pony! Our waitress was Molly, she rocked!

Owners are horrible. Don’t support this organization. You will be highly disappointed and then wish you would have listened to these reviews!

They don’t realize the potential of the bar. Not putting out Bags(the game) even though there is plenty of room on the patio. Meh. Instead we get a tournament during the week only.

I have wanted to check this place out for a while now and was excited we finally had the opportunity. It was too hot to enjoy the rooftop patio, but I was pleasantly surprised that the main floor has large open windows to the street. I ordered the basil old fashion, which for the record, had no basil flavor whatsoever, I even double checked with our waitress I received the right thing. I still liked it but was really looking forward to a basil cocktail. For lunch I ordered the fried baloney which was awesome, I appreciate that they sourced their meet from the grey plume. The 4 of us enjoyed our meals and the service was also good. Another great addition to the benson area.

Episode 3: This is a spot that is really growing on me. I recently tried the food for the first time, and every single item I had — side salad, pulled pork nachos, poutine, fried pickles and the burger(yes, I ate a lot) — was inventive and composed of incredibly fresh ingredients. Let’s start with the burger. I’ve heard a lot about this bad boy lately and it lived up to the hype. There’s a chunk of pork shoulder and some sort of delicious tomato paste that hugs the patty, nudging this burger to the top of my list of local favorites. It’s definitely the best burger in Benson. And the side salad had some subtle spices that made it unique. I especially enjoyed the little tomato and cucumber cubes. Long story short, the entire menu looks fantastic. I’m glad pub grub has evolved beyond chicken strips and onion rings. I can’t wait to check out the rooftop patio really, really soon.

1912 is a perfect addition to the bar scene on Benson. The patio on the roof is awesome but be warned. The smells from the kitchen can be pretty bad. They need to fix that situation asap. Otherwise, you can sit inside near one of the huge garage doors and partake in some people watching as the wander by on the sidewalk.

I really enjoyed the outdoor space both upstairs and down. The downstairs space seems to operate as the staff break/smoke area but still isn’t a bad time. The upstairs outdoor space does have some pluses and minuses. The pluses for me, no smoking allowed and ample seating. This place would really benefit from a bar upstairs. I don’t know if its because of city rules or expense as to why they don’t have one but that would really enhance the space. There were signs indicating also, no service upstairs and I was confused because there was a waitress and at times she was getting drinks for tables and at other times there wasn’t. With all this being said, nothing beats having a nice cold beverage sitting outside in the space. The food is also quite tasty! The pork nachos have some sort of sauce on them that is to die for and the chips have this hint of lime-so yummy! The wings are pretty good too. They offer a variety of flavors and are quite delicious. We split the grinder sandwich and it too was quite yummy. I am excited to come back here again and enjoy a spot on the patio.

Hit a concert at the waiting room and decided to eat something prior. I had heard that 1912 was service food now so I thought I would give it a shot. First off, the menu has a special section on poutine. I have been a huge fan of poutine forever and this is only the second place in Omaha I have found it. They had three or four varieties but I went with the classic poutine… fries, brown gravy, cheese curds. Portion size was big… definitely made for sharing and the gravy/fries good. Only disappointment was the curds. I honestly couldn’t tell if they were cheese curds. If they were… they had completely melted like shredded cheese. The purpose of the cheese curd is «to have a cheese curd». If you completely melt it… what is the point… you might as well use shredded cheese. Again, not even sure it was a curd. Friend had the burger on my(and Unilocal’s) recommendation. VERYGOOD. Highly recommend. Burger was cooked to order and well flavored. I don’t remember what is all on it but I think it was pickled onions. They were darn tasty! Atmosphere is great with open views of Benson. Service was a bit spotty but it was Monday and I think they only had one server working the entire bar. That being said… highly recommend the burger. Check it out!

Good food, slightly pricey but good atmosphere and great for groups. Nice area, parking’s easy and lots of options. This place looked like one of the bests. We enjoyed it.

Look. It’s a nice spacious bar with garage door windows that open up in the summer. It has the best rooftop beer garden in probably a few states. The thing you need to know though is that this is the best new burger in town in many years. We all have our legendary favorites(Stella’s is mine), but it’s great to see new quality burgers out there. The burger at 1912 is my favorite of the new generation I make them simplify the burger when I go there, because I am just not that fancy. So no jam and other stuff for me. What I do get is this perfectly cooked high quality tender burger that isn’t dry and not greasy(though I am never opposed to a greasy burger). Not sure what kind of cheese they use, it doesn’t look like a cheese I have seen on a burger, but it’s tasty and fits the construction well. On top of this they place some well cooked tasty pork belly. The bun every time has been fresh, soft and again fits the burger and construction perfectly. The fries that come with it are fantastic also. Had this burger a few times now, and it has been spot on every time. I always get great service here also sitting at the bar. I know you want to come here to drink on the roof, but make sure you try the burger while you are here.

Amazing food! The menu is nice and small and the two vegetarian options we got were super tasty. Poutine nachos and veggie tacos just blew up or taste buds! I highly recommend this place, especially because the drinks are priced well to match.

I’m going super high on the stars for this place because I want them to do well! There are so few rooftop patios in Omaha and this one rocks. Their opening was long awaited, but the bar and patio is very welcoming and open. Our bartender, Becky, is one of our faves from Dundee and attentive but not overbearing. $ 4 mimosas on Sunday and nice selection of beers, wines and cocktails. Please come here– I really want this rooftop patio to last!

I came here last weekend to meet some friends for drinks. It just opened, so the smell of fresh construction and paint definitely hits you when you walk in. Set out on corner in Benson, the bar has huge windows, with an industrial feel. If you proceed to the back, you climb a flight of stairs and you’re taken outside to their rooftop patio. Moving here from Chicago, I have SO missed rooftop patios! This one definitely made feel like I was back in a bigger city. White light bulbs were strung around the patio and two bartenders set up shop on opposite sides of the patio. Comfortable furniture and high-top tables were spread out and people milled everywhere. There were lots of people outside, but it only felt too crowded when you tried to get in line for a drink. Drinks are reasonable and the bartenders were friendly. One of my new favorite places in Benson — I will definitely be back here again before the summer is over!
