I love this trail it was a great walk with the dogs. The tree canopy is very thick so even during the rain we didn’t get to wet. The trail says it’s 1.4 miles but I think it’s a bit longer than that unless my GPS is way off. I will definitely be back with the doggies again for a quick walk in the woods that is close to town.

It is what it is. We came to walk to the river. It was later in the day and pretty secluded. Not very long of a walk. I was ok with the place until a bicyclist pulled me aside as he was passing and told us the only other guy there was packing a gun so he was taking off. Little scary. Saw some interesting characters here. Don’t think I’ll be back soon.

This is my favorite part of my drive to work each day. Driving through the middle of the park, under the massive canopy of maple trees, is like being in a cathedral. Gorgeous and moving. I love this park so much!

Great family hike… It’s about 1.4 miles and my wife, 6 and 7 year old boys completed it with ease. The trail is very well maintained by the city of Olympia, with quite a few maps to keep you on course. No black or salmon berries like it mentioned online. Maybe to late in the summer? Try else where if that’s your plan.
