Stagework Hair Design

I’ve been going to Stageworks on and off for awhile and will never return. I made an appointment for a trim, and went in later in the afternoon for my haircut. After cutting 5 inches off my hair (when I just wanted a trim), the woman said she was not actually employed by the salon, but occasionally comes in to cut hair there. She then proceeded to charge me $ 70 for a trim, almost twice the price that Stageworks charges for a haircut. I would not have been as upset about this if I knew that she was an independent hairstylist and would charge that much, but when I called to make the appointment, no one informed me that she would charge double the price. I was not satisfied with my haircut, so I called the salon and left a message explaining the situation, hoping someone could help, and the woman called back only to tell me that she would not be able to fit me in until the next week. Very disappointed in what I thought was a trustworthy salon.

Love Stagework Hair Design! Lindsey is amazing and she is truly passionate about what she does. I’ve had a few too many hair accidents and I always come back to Lindsey. I drive down from Redmond, Washington to see her. She is also incredibly well priced and I’m pleased after each session. I will continue to be a forever client and stop experimenting with other stylists and salons up here. Love you, Lindsey!

My co-​worker referred me to this hair salon saying it was the best. So I decided to schedule and went in today for a color. Boy was she right!
I have to be honest I was very scared because I have been to many upscale hair salons and my expectations are super high!
But Lindsey was great she listened to what I wanted and listened to my concerns. The color came out just the way I wanted.
She did awesome definitely recommending everyone I know. Will definitely be a forever client :)

I was asked to write this review based on my friends experience here.
She knows I love Unilocal and wanted to give the salon and her stylist kudos so here goes.
Memorial day my friend was looking for a good salon to get her hair cut and she always had this place in mind. When she went in there Kevin was the first stylist to greet her, she told him she wanted her hair cut a bit shorter into a faux hawk style. My friend has really curly thick hair and was surprised by how eager and excited he was to do it, but then informed her he was off that day and would love to cut her hair next week. He recommended some other near by stylist and when she went to see them she was less than thrilled by there reactions toward her curly hair and there inability to understand what she was asking for, so she made and appointment with Kevin later in the week like he advised.
When she went in to see Kevin she loved how nice the salon was set up and how energetic, fun and sociable Kevin was toward her. Kevin kept her entertained and engaged in good conversation the whole time he was doing her hair. She came home ecstatic about her hair and everywhere we go she gets dozens of compliments on his work.
Definitely recommend, she says she will be coming back in the near future for not just a good hair cut, but fun company!

Stageworks is the Best in Olympia. I have been to Lindsey and know that her mom Jodi is in High demand, with a huge wait list. These two ladies know their stuff. They do color, cuts, and basically anything you need for your hair. The Kanda girls are amazing at what they do, and all of Olympia knows it. I would reccomend Stageworks to EVERYONE in this town.
