I’m new to the Olympia area and was in need of a massage. After searching Unilocal and calling server all places I came across this place. I book a 90 minute massage which cosisted of 30 minute foot massage and a 60 minute body massage. The massage was hands down the worst massage I’ve ever had. I get a lot of massages all over the world as I own a business in Malaysia and travel a lot. I go to a lot of walk in street massages so I’m not particular about the quality of massage I get however this massage was bad I could not wait for it to end. I would not go back to this place if the massage was free. Do not wast your time or money with this establishment as you will be hugely disappointed.

Karen is amazing… perfect amount of firm pressure. She speaks English very well too. Been to quite a few Chinese foot massages and this place is by far the best. Can’t beat $ 30.00 for a full one hour foot/body massage. Establishment is clean and quiet. Will definitely be back!

Amazing! Affordable. They don’t speak very good English so it’s hard to communicate much but they understand all the important stuff and provide wonderful massage on a walk in or appt basis. Very pollite. Conservative about your privacy during massage. Grab a friend and check it out. It’s dark, quiet, relaxing, and wonderful. Punch cards too.

This is the second time I’ve been here. I would rate it higher because the service is excellent! Beds are a little uncomfortable on my back and bad music — lol. If you haven’t tried a Chinese foot massage I would highly recommend one! Do the 60min for $ 30. It is very unusual but your in for a treat!

We took a chance and went straight for the full body massage and skipped the obvious choice of foot massage. The experience was okay. The price point is certainly right. The business owner ended up being the person doing my massage while my wife had a Chinese speaking only massage therapist. The business owner walked out of the massage 5 times to attend to other business matters. So the ambience was certainly not their. And I was thinking the language barrier my wife was encountering could certainly be a challenge if you need to converse about a health concern during the course of a massage. The massage style was similar to deep tissue. They are very firm which can be either a blessing or curse depending on your massage style preference. Another oddity was the use of towels as a cover choice versus a blanket cover typically found at most massage establishments. The course towel can rub a bit and is not very comfortable. In conclusion, if you can overlook the oddities and lack of ambience then this style of massage and pleasant price point might just work for you.

I came in, never having a foot massage and not knowing what i wanted. The woman greeting me helped me decide on the 1 hour foot massage for $ 30! crazy deal! A man was my masseuse and he made me feel very comfortable. Foot soak, face massage neck, shoulders, arms/fingers, then feet! yay! i work in the restaurant business and am always on my feet. This was such a relief!!! He got into my calves which was very nice too. Then he did more arms and back. Some casual guided stretches near the end too. The environment was very comfortable and soothing. I tipped $ 10, and I’m bringing my friends and going again and again! Thanks Shu Shuang Foot Massage!

I first went to Happy Feet in LA with my brother, many celebrities there go often and it’s also located in a strip mall. When I found Happy Feet in Olympia a year later, I was delighted and took him when he came home for a visit. It is not actually part of the franchise, a great copy in décor and quality and it’s handy, being in Olympia. The last time I went there, it had a new name and no mention of Happy Feet so, they may have been contacted by someone from legal, who knows? The other concern I have is they speak little or no English and the industry is NOT regulated. They also usher some people(all males) to a back room with a door and if there is anything going on there, no one would know. Human slavery and prostitution do happen everywhere and I hope this is not one of the places. I would feel much better if they were licensed and paid taxes and were legally here but I’m just not sure. I like the foot soak, they change the towels and face napkin and seem to be careful but when rubbing many different people during the day, I’m not sure what they do to avoid contamination. I have never had a problem but will stick with my massage therapist that pays all the fees and had hundreds of hours of training, costs 9 dollars more for an hour and an appointment but feel much better knowing I’m not taking such a big chance. SB6103 is a bill looking to regulate this industry and to stop the human trafficking this industry apparently hosts in many places.

I was almost going to give them a 4 star but leaned to a 5. If 4.5 was available to would do that. I’ve been in twice now for full body massage and both times it was good. Well worth the fifty bucks. The place is clean and someone is always there to greet you with a smile. They don’t always speak a lot of English but I have never had a problem communicating what I wanted. The body massage was a full hour and no more. She did a lot of the massage through the towel and I’m not a big fan of that where I like the oil more. She did get around to oil so it was good. I was having headaches for several days and after this massage, the next day my headaches are gone. I get a lot of stress in my neck and shoulders. I like these Chinese places because you can just walk in and most of the time don’t have to wait. I don’t have the kind of schedule I can make too many appointments for something like this. I’m glad they are around.

I have been to this place several times, but never got around to reviewing it until now. I actually didn’t know the name of it until now, because their sign simply says«FOOTMASSAGE» in red letters and nothing else. I was randomly in the area after work one day and decided to give it a try. The experience was very relaxing. I got the hour long foot massage for $ 30. They soaked my feet in some warm herbal water and gave me a shoulder/head rub until they were ready to do my feet. It was a gentlemen who did my massage, but he wad very professional and polite, which made me feel very comfortable. Not to mention, he took his time and went a little over my expected hour. I tipped him $ 5 in the end and he was very pleased about it. Overall, the place is great if you don’t end up with a bad masseuse. I’m not sure how many total there are though. It is a very relaxing environment, perfect to go to after a long day of work. I have yet to try body massage, but I will soon and be sure to report back. :)

If you’re having trouble finding it– all that the sign says out front is «FOOTMASSAGE» in red letters on white. I finally sprang for an «hour long foot massage» here with my husband earlier today, after having passed by this place several times. We were walk-ins, and the only patrons in the joint. The place is dark, and they play pretty music. For 30 bux, you get a head rub, light shoulder work, arm and hand work, foot and leg work, and a little bit of full body/back work. I wouldn’t call it a «foot massage», but it sure was relaxing. The only nuisance was the occasional noise from outside– this place is in a strip mall. There were warm towels and a hot foot soak involved, my husband actually fell asleep at one point. His masseuse was a little more gentle than mine, I think. :) That’s okay though, I’m a tough cookie. Next time I’m going to ask for no head work, more feet. I don’t really dig people touching my head and face. I’ll report back and let you know how it goes!
