If I could give no stars, I would. Tina gave me the WORST haircut of my life. I came to her with shoulder length hair that had zero layers. I told her I like the length a lot, just wanted to add layers to give it some shape. She kept trying to convince me to cut my hair short, and I kept declining. Throughout the entire haircut I was extremely nervous as her technique looked extremely sloppy. She she got around to the front of my hair she cut about 3 inches off despite my specific instructions not to. The right side of my hair had jagged layers with chunks missing out of it. When I looked at the back of my hair a large chunk was cut several inches shorter than the rest. It was the bottom layer, so the only option would be to cut a ton off. When I explained how upset I was about the length, she told me she knew I was «ready» for shorter hair despite what I said. I was so angry I left and immediately went to master cuts for damage control. Both stylist were shocked at the chunks missing out of my hair and the uneven «layers». I was told unless I wanted to take a lot of length off, they could only somewhat blend it to disguise the mistakes as best they could. Although slightly better, my hair still looks terrible. On top of all of this Tina was making racist remarks about «mixing» of different «types» of children in public schools. Not only is she the equivalent of Edward Scissor Hands, but she is a bigot as well. Avoid this place at all costs. I am hoping my hair grows quickly so I can finally stop feeling embarrassed.

I have been visiting Andrea Aiken for facials and lash extensions for some time now. As a licensed esthetician I am very choosy about who I go to for services. Andrea has a very comfortable skin care room, stays on top of her continuing education, and gives AMAZING facials. I wish I could indulge in a facial a week because my skin is always perfect after a visit to Andrea.

I would highly have to disagree with the last review on this site. Salon Venue is a great salon with great stylist. It is organized and you feel comfortable right when you walk in! I have known Bronwen even before she started managing this salon. She has brought her organization and professionalism to this salon. Her services are great as long with Andrea’s services as well. I will continue to come to see Bronwen as long as Andrea for facials. The salon is amazing and I wont be going anywhere else for hair and facial services!

Just went to this salon for the first time after a friend suggested going here. I had a great experience and will definitely be back. Great location and wonderful people.
