Hair Touch

I have had pretty good experience with this place. First, I had my 7 year old daughter to have a specific hairstyle she really wanted. They really delivered, it was a very tricky bob. I was extremely surprised give the price and the general «non-​fancy» factor. Since then (6 years) I went to expensive salons thinking it would be so much better, because hair cut would cost twice as much, and it was not. So, I come here now. I have had Kimberly and Vivian working on my hair and both are great.

Needed to get a haircut and highlights but didn’t want to break the bank since I am still looking around for a regular salon. Saw a coupon online for $ 35 partial highlights at Hair Touch (I am used to paying at least twice that) and decided to give it a try– what the heck, it’s just hair after all. Made an appt. the same day for 5 pm, arrived right on time. Hair Touch is in a shopping center, located in the vicinity of a mattress store and several restaurants (noticed a quizno’s among them). That at first had me a little worried.
Went inside Hair Touch, and there were about 6 stations, 4 occupied. The décor is pretty mastercuts-​esque; pictures of various people’s hair cuts on the walls, which were painted various shades of peach. A woman asked how she could help me over the head of a patron, and I said I was here for my appt. A conversation ensued between the hair stylists that I didn’t quite understand (it was in Vietnamese), and then I was ushered to a station by Tina. She had previously been working on another woman’s hair (who waited for her to return for a while and then went to sit in another stylist’s chair), so I am guessing it was someone she knew.
Tina asked what I was looking for, and made suggestions as far as color for highlights and type of cut. She did an awesome job, and asked frequently about how I liked the length as she cut. The only awkward part of the experience was having a bag put over my hair before getting put under the heat lamp (maybe that is normal but I don’t remember it). I absolutely love how my hair turned out! Tina trimmed my hair, highlighted it, washed it, cut it in layers, thinned it out where it was needed (I have a lot of hair), and even blow dried and straightened it. All that for under $ 60– amazing, and worth a big tip.
