Unfortunately bought a Laurel Canyon 100 at this store on black Friday, was sold a case extra in order to protect the instrument. One small slip down the wall inside the case and all and the neck of the instrument snapped. I came into the company for help, stating the instrument was in the case when this occurred and that is why I purchased the case is for protection. The manager and employee both didn’t give me much time or help in resolving this issue. I feel the guitar must have had some flaw in the wood in order to break that easy with such a small drop. They didn’t investigate any further, call the manufacturer, or offer any assistance beside your out of luck, too bad. Poor customer skills, will not recommend. On to Music 6000 and will call the manufacturer myself.

On Friday May 8th, my 78 yo Mom was looking for some items for her 70 year old violin. We entered the store and I was a little worried by the reception of the young guy behind the counter that he was going to disrespect her. This proved to be untrue. He helped her with what she needed while also making her feel proud of the violin she has had since a child. He also helped her find a ukulele and case and she walked out feeling cared for and excited to play some music. I believe his name was Benjamin and he explained he was filling in at this store since it was short staffed and his normal store is Lacey. My Mom had previously visited other music stores in Olympia and was completely disregarded. They pretty much disrespected her and her«old» violin. Music and Arts is her place to go now. Thank you for making my Mom’s visit fantastic and for making her feel special.
