My 10 year old has been taking guitar lessons from Joey for 2 years now and it has truly been a perfect fit. Joey has really tried to choose music to keep my son’s interest, but at the same time challenge him past what he feels comfortable with. He really likes Joey as a person, too, which for a 10 year old is pretty important… he’s funny, easy to be with, but also someone to look up to. I am very happy with my son’s progress musically, and am extremely happy that he continues to want to play… I even find him playing just for fun, beyond what he has to do for practice!!!
