Dancing Goats Espresso Bar

Dancing Goats AKA Batdorf&Bronson’s coffee is excellent always and these guys know how to get it right! The fresh whip is always perfect — not too sweet — and they fully comprehend what «an obscene amount of whipped cream» means. Always friendly too! That’s a must! Whenever I’m in Bayview I cave to them!

I love this place! After either getting tired of disgruntled employees at other coffee shops or a cup of iced milk for the price of an iced latte, I decided to give Dancing Goats a whirl while I was in Bayview grabbing lunch. I was so pleased to receive a latte that actually had espresso in it, and from a pleasant woman who wasn’t scowling! They even have a loyalty program, so if you are a coffee junkie, you eventually get a free one.

«One extra rich mocha quad shot espresso with extra whip and caramel please!» I need to be extra jazzed up while I am spending a fortune shopping at Bayview.
This Espresso bar is located right inside the front door to Ralph’s Bayview. I probably buy a cup of coffee here a handful of times per year as there are a slew of great little shops littered about downtown Olympia. That is not to say though that this location doesn’t provide good quality cause they do, there just isn’t much of an environment in which to enjoy your brew unless you want to walk along the boardwalk outside.
The prices are on par for other joints around and there is always a case full of fresh pastries to tempt and discourage even the most rigorous of diets efforts. The staff has always been nice to me and one can usually find a house paper to peruse while tasting the first sips of your order. All and all, not a bad place to grab a cup on the go.
