I loved this place the past couple of times I’d visited, but today a particularly unfriendly barista wouldn’t be bothered to ask for my order, as she helped the people who had come in after. So we left. Too bad the one place you can get a cup of tea or coffee in a real glass cup has a person behind the counter who exudes unfriendliness.

Cute little place to grab coffee if you like to drink coffee at night. Their white chocolate mocha is normal but it’s just the way I like it. Not too bitter but not drowning in syrup. The lady working that night was really nice and didn’t seem to mind us coming in at 8pm. I just wish there was more choices of flavors and foods to pick from.

Great drip and the guy behind the counter was very sweet considering moments before I walked in some sh*t head walked off with the guys tip jar

After my first visit, I swore I would never be back. I was so put off by the barista that couldn’t be bothered to serve me because I apparently wasn’t cool enough for her. The rude service was not worth the cool ambience that café vita provides. Seriously people, if you don’t like working with the public, don’t work in customer service. It isn’t rocket science. However a friend talked me into giving it another shot, and in glad I did. Much better service, in fact the server seemed to absolutely love his job, and that energy goes a long way with customers. They have a small variety of baked goods to choose from, and offer your basic coffee favorites, made very well. This is not the place to go for a venti mochalicious frappicino extra whip. They will probably laugh at you. But if you like the standard coffee options you’re good to go. A highlight is the hot chocolate they made with their home made chocolate sauce. Not entirely sure how that’s done but it was delicious so I didn’t ask questions.

Nice staff, really good coffee. I had a latte and I could actually taste the coffee not just the syrup so that makes me want to go back. The barista was very attentive and professional, definitely knew his coffee and earned a tip. Very sweet spot in the middle of downtown Oly.

After living in Seattle and growing accustom to Café Vita it’s nice to be able to enjoy this delicious roast down south.

Above average coffee in a quiet place with a friendly staff. I’d give it 3 ½ stars if that were possible.

The chill Olympia version of a Seattle staple. Verrrry strong iced coffee, and decent iced black tea. It’s beautiful inside but a little dark. They had some kinda sexy slow jams on, and both baristas were young and tattooed, as we’re 80% of the other customers. That’s how you know it’s good coffee. The barista let me try a sample of the chai in a little cup. Thanks! This feels like the kind of place you could read in all day.

Got drip coffee and a hot cocoa for my wife. Her cocoa was bad and my wife threw it out. It was basically warm soy milk with a hint of chocolate. My coffee was fine. Bathrooms were plaster with anti government propaganda. First and last visit.

The 3rd shop of this Seattle coffee roaster, which has a 10+ year presence in the state capital. It has a good local feel with lots of seating & free wi-FI.

Fun atmosphere and great coffee. Service friendliness varies depending on who’s working, but overall a great coffee and pastry choice. Nice place to hang out and watch Olympia move around you.

I would give this place more stars — it’s a cool coffee shop and I like the music they play here but every time I have come in the lady behind the counter has been pretty rude and made me feel unwelcome so I stopped going. It’s too bad. The place has a cool vibe.

Drip coffee looked bad and was filled with coffee grounds. Asked for a new cup and got yelled at by both baristas working. Shocked at their total lack of customer service. Baristas, equipment and establishment are all dirty.

They have morning glory chai and baked goods from the bearded lady — ahhh! Wish they were open later.

Very good coffee. My caramel macchiato has a rich creamy taste instead of plain sweet. Furthermore, I also love the leaf decoration.

The coffee at this place is amazing! Plus they have treats from The Bearded Lady, a local gluten-free, vegan bakery! Great atmosphere!

I love Oly, and I love Caffe Vita. They have a wicked roast. They make great espresso drinks. Really, whats not to like? I can’t think of anything. Thanks Caffe Vita, you’re swell!

Caffe Vita is one of the nicer places to meet for coffee and tea past 6PM in downtown Olympia. For bonus points, they also sell bottled kombucha and coconut water. They have good wifi and a pleasant environment that is decorated with rotating local art. It’s a great place to get work done or meet for a conversation or first date. The other two establishments open past 6PM that I can think of, Burial Grounds and Sizizis, have a «dark» feel to them that I do not enjoy. In my experience, they are also staffed by people that embrace the«hipster, I don’t care about you» way of customer service. I refuse to pay for that service. Caffe Vita knows customer service. Good job, Caffe Vita!
