Hit the spot! Super friendly, fresh and fast. The BOKA tacos were perfect balance of salty pork, creamy avocado and tangy lime. Mac salad was just right amount of mayo and lumpia were hot & crisp. Will definitely stop here again when traveling I5 south from Seattle!

After 2 visits I have to say this is one of the best food trucks in the Olympia area! The lumpia are excellent the Boka Tacos are the bomb! And did I say it’s all fresh! Nothing cooked ahead of time it’s all cooked to order! Can’t wait to try more of the dishes on the menu!

Praise the lord for Boka because it’s been a minute since I’ve had Chamorro food! I’ve been hearing about Boka from friends and family back home so when my sis was visiting for the week, we decided to pay this truck a visit. Their menu showcases not only Chamorro dishes, but also some with Filipino and Hawaiian influences. I went with their Si Sig Chicken Plate. For all you Filipinos, this isn’t like the typical pork sisig you’ll see your uncles snacking with some San Miguel. This dish features marinaded chopped chicken over a bed of steamed rice, a side of mac salad and 2 pieces of lumpia. The chicken was delicious, you definitely can taste the sweet and tangy marinade. I also went with the option of topping this with an over easy egg… I mean, eggs make just about anything taste so much better. You just gotta do it! Mac Salad is highly recommended. It goes well with salty and flavorful dishes. There’s something different about the mac salad at Boka, it seems to have a tangy taste to it which I really like. And I can’t forget to mention the lumpia. It’s fried to perfection and just the right size. When it comes to meat-filled lumpia, you can’t stuff it too much or else you’ll the risk cooking it unevenly. But anyways, I really like the lumpia here. My sister went with the Signature Boka Taco Plate. This came with 3 corn tortilla tacos filled with marinade chicken, red cabbage, cilantro, onions, and topped with an avocado lime sauce. These were tasty and also served with a side of mac salad and lumpia. Don’t forget to order a side of their Koa Hot sauce for extra flavor. Its adds a good kick to your meal. Personally, I think its worth the trek to Olympia to check out Boka. I can’t wait to come home and check out their other offerings, such as their chicken kelaguen. I hope I’ll get lucky to get some red rice the next time I visit.

The mochiko chicken plate was really good: crispy, savory, moist, and just a tiny bit sweet. The macaroni salad was creamy and not overcooked. The lumpia was thin and crispy. The Boka tacos were kind of Mexican: little corn tortillas with cilantro and cabbage. They were also a little sweet and delicious. Two thumbs up!

This place is effing ridiculous!!! And in a hugely good way. I lived on the Big Island in Hawaii for a year and this is the closest thing I can get to the Ahi Poke there. Musubi is off the chain. and the lumpia. my god the lumpia! it’s the best i’ve ever had(Sorry Mrs DLC!!). Tons of flavor. Never had lumpia with shrimp in it, but Im sold! My god this would be an R-Rated review, but Im trying to contain my excitement! Ill be back. Every Wednesday for the Poke!!! Fantastic Poke… mon! ;-)

Boka Island was outside of Beerwerks tonight; it was the first time that I’ve seen them there, but it has been a few months since I’ve been. The food was FANTASTIC, and it had both meat and veggie options. They explained the entire menu to us, just in case we had any questions. These guys are super friendly, and the food is amazing. I’m super pumped that these guys will be at Beerwerks regularly. I’ll be going back very soon!

I had the 3 tacos plate. It came with Mac salad and 2 lumpias. Flavorful dishes that complimented beers from Northwest Beerwerks. The chicken tacos were well seasoned and the mac salad left me wanting more. Great price, friendly staff!

Delicious! I ordered the mochiko chicken plate; great value for an entrée, lumpia, rice and Mac salad. And had to get at least one spam masubi. Great service and amazing food! Would definitely recommend to friends and family; try them out today!

The lumpia, what can I say? The temperature of that frying oil must be just right. They didn’t absorb the grease and came out evenly golden and perfectly crisped. I ate them so fast, I don’t know what’s in the filling. I just know that it’s flavorful and delicious. The taco meat was a bit dry. And the mochiko chicken marinade was a bit too soy saucy. But for those cigar-sized lumpia, I forgive everything.

I was fortunate enough to catch this truck at Top Rung Brewery on a Friday evening. I was indeed in luck. I was hungry for food and a brew. I tried the tacos that they offer. I got 3 very meaty, quite delicious tacos for a very affordable price. Satisfaction level: Infinite. I will definitely find this truck again, either at Top Rung, which is also a great place to go, or at their actual Martin Way location. Well done, Boka!

Good islander food is hard to come by in Lacey/Olympia unless you make it at home. This place is amazing. it’s like I stayed home and made myself a Filipino meal. I love the combinations that they come up with. always a go to spot when driving down Martin way.

Holy mother of food trucks… This is THE jackpot of food trucks in the Olympia area. I had the boka tacos and they were to die for. Their musubis with red rice were genius. This place is great. Highly recommend them to anyone. Can’t wait to eat there again.

I came with three other people so we could try as many menu items as possible. The trailer is a tiny and unassuming but cute and simple. They have a small covered area to eat next to a very busy road which had it’s draw backs but the food makes up for it. We tried the Sisig chicken, Mochiko chicken, Boka tacos, and kalua pork. Such flavor and texture! The char on the mochiko chicken was superb! The kalua pork was so moist. The tacos were fresh and flavorful and the sisig chicken flavor was amazing and complex. Can’t forget those sides either. The rice texture is perfectly sticky and chewy. The Mac salad was creamy and the lumpia… oh the lumpia! This place is worth the drive and wait.
