Outstanding vintage video game stores. Pricing very comparable to online and the games are extremely clean. They all come with a 7 day warranty. I purchased 2 games for my NES and 2 for SNES. all worked perfectly and were in very good condition. Victor helped me both times I was there and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

The best retro game store I’ve found in the area and definitely the place to go for gaming.
For some reason this place doesn’t have a presence on Unilocal or on Google Maps (I had to tell them to go do this…). I visited numerous «retro» shops before Game Cycle and couldn’t find a decent one in the area, and I was half ready to quit when I found this place. I’d say this venue could challenge some of the retro game shops in Chicago with their selection and their knowledge.
The selection… the retro selection was great! I have a good collection of games and don’t often find games I WANT to buy, but I couldn’t leave here without picking up four games the last time I was here. I prefer to find games in real life rather than online (adds to the fun of finding it and possibly the chance to find a game you’ve forgotten about).
The staff… I chatted with the guy who works here and he is definitely knowledgeable about his games. I think of all the games we discussed, there were only one or two that I could bring up that he didn’t already know more about.
Overall… simply… yes.
