The buffet had all the usual dishes, along with salmon, sushi, some tasty crab rangoon, dessert pastries, and scoop ice cream. There was a good variety of selections, but labeling was hit or miss. The dining area was clean, but spartan. The service was attentive, but not especially cheerful. At $ 6.99 for lunch($ 8.99 for dinner) and drinks at $ 1.49, this was a very good value.

I would give it five stars, but the people who work there are so hateful. The food is delicious and the price is right.

The only reason I could think of for anyone wanting to go to this place is that they have hard-serve ice cream. Beyond that, everything is absolutely horrible. The green beans tasted old, the crab rangoon tasted off, the fried chicken had dough on it that was barely cooked, and the lo mein tasted like rubber bands. Usually my boyfriend and I would have a couple of plates at a buffet, but not here. As soon as we realized how awful everything tasted it, we high-tailed it out of there. We both felt ill walking out, and within minutes of arriving home, he’d already projectile-vomited in the bathroom. Never. Again.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The crab rangoon were really good, this is my barometer, and the Mongolian BBQ looked really good. Good value for the price. My only knock is that the place wasn’t very clean, the floors and bathrooms need a really good scrubbing.

Best Mongolian buffet in kc and a favorite during my college days. The Chinese is good too. Lots to choose from and plenty of seating and drink options. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the waitresses seem a little cranky.
