Will Rogers Theater

Great little venue! So cute and very retro. Love the attached bar and the neighborhood. Definitely a good venue for a smaller enclosed get together!

I’ve always driven past Will Rogers Theatre when en route to Guestroom or the like without paying much attention to it. Turns out it’s a neat little venue!
I clearly wasn’t paying much attention, because to my surprise and delight, there is copious parking in the lot behind the theater that is for the theater and the immediate dining establishments like Lobby Bar and Sushi Neko.
Since I entered the venue via the Western side, I was a little confused since you’re walking directly into the Lobby Bar, but don’t worry. Just keep on walking to the back, and you’ll find your way to the theatre.
The theatre itself is cozy but very versatile. Seats can be removed and rearranged as needed, or in the case I witnessed, can be added as needed! OKC packed the house for local comedian Spencer Hicks, so the staff had their hands full making sure there were plenty of seats.
The neat thing is that this space is not just for shows but can be used for special events and receptions. There’s also classes that happen here, too.
My final note? It drives me nuts that their website is
but their website is called Will Rogers Theatre. Pick one, people! ;)

Wow, no reviews for the Will Rogers Theater? That’s odd. We held my daughter’s wedding reception here and they did an exceptional job!
The food was prepared on site and it was fresh, tasty and plentiful. The bar was well stocked and the bar tenders were attentive, quick and knowledgable.
The tables were arranged in a manner that made the room seem full but not crowded. The dance floor was sized perfectly for the crowd of about 150.
The sound system, lighting and DJ (recommended by the venue) were excellent! The crowd danced until the party ended.
There was plenty of parking right outside the entrance and they had ramps for older guests that couldn’t navigate stairs. There were quiet areas just outside what was the actual theater if you needed a break from the party.
They had 2 security guards on site during the event to keep crashers out of the party and make sure the gifts were secure.
Honestly, I can’t really think of a thing that could’ve been better. These folks went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable event. I highly recommend the Will Rogers Theater!
