There is no point in doing call ahead at this restaurant even 30 minutes ahead. They said they didn’t have our name on the list. When we showed them the call log on my husband’s phone the excuse became whoever took the call didn’t put it in. So they told us because they were quoting 20 – 25 minutes to the walk-ins we’d be seated in 15 minutes. We told them the reason we’d called to get our name on the list was because we were on a tight time table and knew it would be busy. At the very least, we should have been the next to be seated(unless the next people had also called ahead, which they hadn’t.) 25 minutes later we hadn’t been seated and everyone that was waiting before us had been seated. We wound up having to leave because it was already past the time for us to be able to get our food and then be back for my husband to get to work. Lesson learned — call ahead is pointless because it doesn’t get you seated any faster than those that didn’t plan ahead. They didn’t even seem to care. When you advertise a call ahead seating service, the expectation you set for your customers is that they will get seated in a timely manner when they do call ahead. A short wait is expected. Not a 15 minute turned 25+ wait. We went to the Garage instead. Amazing burgers and service there! 25 minutes later

Took our huge family in for Christmas Eve dinner. We had 17 people and we called ahead but I still expected a wait. We got our table right away and had a fantastic server. The food was great. I was a little disappointed that they were out of the Prime Rib, but I ordered the lamb chops and they were delicious. Overall best Christmas Eve dinner experience we have had.

i have come here twice with my coworkers for lunch mainly because olive garden is really busy during the 12– 12:30 mark. This establishment offers bread with each meal and it seems to be pumpernickel bread and i think its very similar to the one offered at cheesecake factory. The first time I went I ordered the outback noodles that was part of their lunch combo. They have come entrees that are lunch portion for 7.99−8.99 and it includes a side.(note the premium sides are charged extra such as the steakhouse mac and cheese). The noodles are similar to pasta primavera and you have the option to add shrimp or chicken for an additional fee. The second time i went i got the steak tacos with a side of the steakhouse mac and cheese. Now this was amazing! The steak tacos came with a side of some avocado sauce and it was very well made. The steaks were not burnt nor were they too chewy. The steakhouse mac and cheese has a side of a kick and it is kinda on the salty side but I shared it with my other coworkers and they all said it was good. Lunch usually costs about 10 – 13 $ including tip which is good and the service is always fast. I can be in and out in less than 45 minutes dining which is important since i only have an hour for lunch!

I love outback and have for years but this branch smells rancid every time my husband and I go. We tried to go again today hoping the building wouldn’t smell since we waited a few months and it was even worse. How can the managers and staff not smell this place. It’s awful and makes me sad because I love bloomin onions but I won’t ever be going back to this branch.

I had a good experience today with Outback, the food was excellent, the waiter was attentive and treated me with the most respect. I ordered the Sirloin with unlimited shrimp special, I only ordered 2 at first, then after the third time they forgot about me for about 30 minutes. The thing is that as soon as the restaurant got a little crowded the waiter never came back, well he did but 30 minutes after, the manager came by asking if I needed anything I replied that just a coke and more shrimp, he didn’t come back with a coke no shrimp thought, 30 – 40 minutes passed, finally got my waiter came back asked if someone had brought me the shrimp, I said nope just the coke. Five minutes later he came back with the shrimp asked me if I wanted another, I said that’s okay I just need the check. Over all was a good service but, my visit took a little over an hour and 30 minutes, could have been better that’s why I gave a 4 star.

Have been to this location 3 times in the last few years. Only one of those was an overall good experience. The other two times the waiter was not exactly rude, but you couldn’t call him friendly either. The restaurant wasn’t busy by any means, but the waiter seemed more interested in anything other than us. The food was mediocre, at best.

Waited almost an hour for mediocre food! Nothing special here except the expensive over priced food! Blooming onion was greasy gross!

Friday night, children are at the YMCA early wine for the evening for the Y’s «parents night out» so here I am at the Oklahoma City outback steak house. Parking was plentiful. I I was solo and they told me it would be a 30 minute wait but ten minutes later I was seated and the service was really really great. Outstanding service. Waitress efficiently found out my needs and ensured I received exactly what I wanted, prepared exactly the way I wanted it. I had prime rib, medium rare, steamed broccoli twice for both sides, a moon beer on tap. All food and drink arrived only ten minutes later prepared perfect, prime rib was just how I like it and warm, broccoli was steamed just enough to stay crunchy and arrived hot, beer was a Blue Moon Belgian White on tap with an orange garnish, ice cold and a great refreshing taste for me. There were many inviting appetizers for all tastes, and the menus seemed built to please anyone. Take note, they have call ahead seating. It was a bit noisy but you could easily carry on a conversation for that first date, family, or a small business meeting. Dress, seemed to be more shirts and polos, but this is Oklahoma, I saw over-alls, t-shirts, and shorts, but not many. If possible, sit along outside walls to preclude other’s conversation from surrounding you. Small but very adequate seasonal dessert list to include mini milkshakes. I’ll be back!

After having numerous exceptional as well as terrible experiences with other restaurants, I have never felt strongly enough to post a comment. I visited Outback Steakhouse for the first time ever, as I am not familiar with the area and we had already visited all the local steakhouses that have good reviews. Not to offend anyone, but I was always under the impression that outback was a cheap restaurant with poor quality food. My food was awesome, but beyond that, the service was exceptional. We were greeted at the door by a gentleman who opened the door for us as we walked up(something you usually only see in fine dining restaurant), and our waiter was a friendly, efficient, and oh so fast gentleman named Matthew. He definitely knew what he was doing, and did it well. For the first time in a long time I felt that our waiter took pride in what he did and didn’t look at customers like their evil monsters that interrupted their relaxation time.

It’s been a long time since I have been to Outback. The driver for this visit was the free Bloomin’ Onion because of the super bowl. I had the hearts of gold Maui, it was awesome and just what I was in the mood for. My partner had the sesame salad with the seared ahi tuna, it also tasted very good. Our waitress was not up on the deals for the day, but she did check. The music was not fitting for the atmosphere. Overall I would rate my visit as good, I would return to this restaurant again.

I haven’t been to an Outback in probably 8 – 10 years. I used to go to the one back home with my grandparents. One of the things I remembered the most was the bloomin’ onion. They had a special tonight for a free one after the super bowl which was nice. The little complimentary bread loaves is a nice nod to a steak house. I wish there was like aboriginal music playing or something more festive. The commercials are always so fun since they have the Australian announcer. Anyways, D and I were hungry for some tuna after our work outs so we each ordered one of the Mahi selections. I ordered the sesame salad with Mahi. As is customary with chain restaurants, the pictured menu items always look a million times better than what you actually receive. The flavors were okay. My salad was kind of pitiful drenched in dressing and coated with black and white sesame seeds. I was a bit disappointed with how my food looked but overall it I’d say it was an enjoyable meal.

The steak was seasoned & cooked perfectly. I signed up for a free coupon @ & got the steak for $ 5.42. Good thing is the coupon can be printed over & over coupon expires. 6oz Sirloin, Streamed Lemon Pepper Broccoli, Sweet Potatoe — I love this meal & for $ 9.99 you can’t beat the price! The cheesecake was standard out a box, but was okay to have gotten it free with my meal. Would I actually had purchased the cheesecake probably not with my own money.

Once in awhile I take my Sister and her family out for dinner. Her choice. This time around she chose Outback. For me, red meat is never a bad choice(unless giraffe or capybara meat is red, but I digress…) I made reservations for 6PM, and we were seated around 6:30 — well, there were 9 of us so I cut them some slack. Our server set us up with drinks and the obligatory bloomin’ onions. I’m really glad those onion thingys aren’t available at 7 – 11 or I’d be in fat boy territory in short order. I love them. Our group ordered everything from steak to salad to chicken fingers for the young ‘uns, and there were no complaints. The food was pretty good overall and we had a great time. I also noticed that for a restaurant that has been around for awhile, this place is really, really clean, so kudos for that. Entertainment was also provided when a waiter carrying a VW-sized load of dirty plates somehow lost control and dumped them on the floor, sending a gooey shower of gravy into a nearby booth. Recipients of said gravy shower took it in stride, and the manager gave one young lady who received most of it a free t-shirt. Overall a good experience.

No clue if the food was decent since the hostess said 20 minute wait at 8:30PM and we looked around and knew there was no 20 minutes about it. That was at least an hour judging by the packed lobby. Amusingly, that’s the typical line that you get from hostesses everywhere. Didn’t figure that Outback would be that crowded at 8:30PM on a Saturday(like it is in the South where it’s a 2 hour wait at 8:30), but we didn’t stick around to find out.

As for Outback Steakhouse this is one of the best. I travel a lot and running into a place grab a bar sit for a quick dinner. The staff was very friendly and I stayed most of the night laughing and joking around. If your a traveler sit at the bar and enjoy the conversation.
