Delicious. And they were letting us sample. We got a little of everything and it was all super tasty but the fave was the chicken and peppers curry. Also so affordable and you get so much food!

They offered small tastes before ordering, which was nice. A very soft spoken woman took my order; I had to repeatedly ask her to repeat herself as she spoke so quietly in the loud mall’s food court. The food itself was OK, but really, really, really salty. The rice used appeared to be some sort of ‘minute’ rice, not the rice traditionally used in Indian foods. Overall, nothing bad, nothing great. Just OK.

My friends and I from the Mid Michigan Food Club came here for dinner tonight and had a wonderful time. We were admittedly bummed that they didn’t have dosa or lamb. But the owners made up for it with excellent chaats(snacks)! The samosa ragda and pani puri were particularly tasty! My friend also raved about the biranyi. The prices were also rock bottom for huge amounts of food. After all the great food, the owners were kind enough to bring some kind of ice cream, puffed rice, and pistachios for my friends and I to share! All in all a delicious treat that makes going to the mall totally worth it!

Went in with high hopes of discovering a fantastic, hole-in-the-wall Indian place in Okemos… a bit of a let down. To be fair, the samosa chaat is good. But the curries/other chaat offerings, not so much. Bland and loaded with salt. Also, higher prices than would be expected for dining at a food court stall with styrofoam plates($ 5 – 6 apps, $ 8 – 10 mains). The only decent Indian food I’ve found in the Lansing area is Persis; otherwise, need to hold out for trips to Detroit.

Best Indian food for 100 miles, maybe 1000! Amazing selection for a mall place when you consider their large appetizer menu.
