I loved Eggs n Things but this restaurant just doesn’t live up to it. They can’t seem to get an order correct ever. I’m very disappointed in this restaurant. I’m always rooting for our local businesses but this just doesn’t cut it.

This is our first experience here and we’re staying the night in Ojai, decided to try brunch at a new place. First we got coffee and they provided two different creams. Usually it’s just regular cream or milk but they actually offered French vanilla cream too. Amazing. Than they offer complimentary crêpe to start. How awesome is that! We both ordered make your own omelete. And I wiped my plate clean. The eggs was delicious, the spinach, tomatoes, avocado was all fresh. The hash browns was amazing. It was all perfect. IHIGHLY recommend this place!

My husband and I stopped here on our way to backpacking and the food was delicious. He enjoyed his grilled cheese and curly fries and my egg over medium was PERFECTLYCOOKED and the oatmeal a fantastic consistency. The waitresses were all super nice. Cute feel. I highly recommend.

The wife and I tried this place for breakfast after a nice little stay out here in Ojai. Clean place with the local feel. The food was very tasty and the free crêpe was a nice bonus. It was a very nice portion size and the wife and I split our meal. It was a little pricey but that could be due to the area. The food came out quick and the servers were very nice. Definitely a good place if you’re looking at had a nice breakfast.

Perfect little breakfast joint… portions are spot on and the pre-breakfast crêpe was awesome. I got 2 eggs, hash browns, and toast… perfect. Wife got the cinnamon rolll french toast. If we are ever in Ojai again, we will be back. Great service too.

Hardy portions! Delicious potatoes with peppers and rad Swedish pancakes. I have to say they have amazing omelets. They are big, not greasy, and reasonably priced. Parking is okay but it is not the easiest to get into the lot itself. The restaurant itself is in the corner near a bike path so watch out for cyclist. They will make you laugh.

My first time to Ojai and my first time to this place. The server was very friendly and attentive. Food was good. My husband ordered the eggs and potato breakfast and I ordered the Ojai omelette. The complimentary crêpe, to eat while you wait for your dish, was a nice touch!

I’ve been coming to this location since I was kid. I can’t manage to call it «eggs & potatoes» because it will always be Eggs & Things to me. although I’d have to say with the newish name i wish they would update the over all look of their location, everything looks old and pretty blah as far as décor. Regardless the food is always on point, Ojai seems limited when it comes to early breakfast places but here is always a good choice for meals. With my experience, the servers have always been sweet and friendly, and for having to be there early in the morning they are very good at staying energetic and helpful. Also the complementary sweetish pancake is always nice to look forward to before breakfast is ready.

Negative Star! The saying is, once-shame on you… twice-shame on me. Thinking I had limited selections for a sit down breakfast, and despite having already had a ridiculous experience already, I went for it again. Unless your a local, don’t expect quick service as you seat yourself. We seated ourselves, the waitress motioned for us to do so, then three minutes later walks in someone that she knew by name. Before we got menus, they had already got menus, then drinks. After ordering our drinks, she gabbed with the other waitress about some personal bologna for five minutes before bringing our liquid over. Needless to say, awful, awful service… two times. Oh, and they were so lazy, that as customers got up, the waitresses couldn’t pull themselves away from yapping to clear off some booths. 10 booths, 7 empty when we left, ALLDIRTY! A poor out of towner walk in when we left, looking for a clean booth, and none were to be found. He actually sat at a dirty one, and pushed the debris towards the outside for removal. The only saving grace this dump has… the food was pretty good. Enjoy!

Friendly waitresses, decent food but menu not that impressive. Still offers complimentary blintzes that arrive before your meal. Like a small cafeteria in that you can pretty much hear what anyone is conversing about.

Love this Place! Denver Omellette was amazing. Juicy and delicious. Great customer service fast and friendly. Everything was great. Great place to grab a bite if you are in the area. It’s a definite must try.

Came in early before a youth football game on a Saturday with my boy. We heard that this place was real good from some former locals so we gave it a try. The food was decent but nothing to really spruce up a review. I had the Eggs Benedict with Spinach. It wasn’t on the menu, so I showed the waitress a picture from Unilocal and they accommodated. Again it was basic with no frills but tasted good. My boy got a sausage omelet that he didn’t finish. Not normally like him, and when asked he said it was just ok. The nice touch of food was the crepes and jam before the meal came out. We both thought they very good. We sat in a booth and there was a trail of ants making their way along the back of the booth down the wall. The waitress didn’t seem to mind when we were pointing it out to her, so I guess they are accepted here. The didn’t bother us since they weren’t on the table. Definitely a locals feel and vibe here. Cheers!

This is a very clean well organized restaurant serving lunch and breakfast. I am back in Ojai — two weeks ago since my last visit. Coffee is very good-not bitter and not weak. Also my breakfast was great and the other two people with me loved theirs as well. Excellent omelets, waffles and oatmeal. The waitresses are very attentive and sweet. When my mother in law came up with her own idea of breakfast they accommodated her graciously. We have not had to wait for a table. I will most likely eat breakfast here again tomorrow.

We ate everything on our plates EXCEPT the biscuit. A little too dense for my taste of a biscuit. They are VERY generous with the bacon. It’s very good quality, THICKCUTBACON! My boys also agreed the pancakes were great!

Years ago I worked in Ojai and this was one of our go to places for lunch. The food is your typical American style breakfast & lunch fare, such as omelets, pancakes, so on and so on. For lunch you have Blts, club sandwiches, salads. Taste wise the food is good, but would it be the go to place if I made a trip into Ojai! Probably not, there are many other places to choose from in the Valley that offer menus that are fresher and have more of a personal touch to the meal. Service has always been top notch and friendly. All in all not a bad place, it just doesn’t necessarily stand out as the best.

Good for Breakfast. Had(what else?) eggs(over medium) and potatoes(hashbrowns)(with bacon too) and the food was a hearty breakfast — a good way to start the day. Well made, but nothing that remarkable — except for the free, complimentary crêpe with berry jam to start things off(which was tasty, but what’s with that? not something I ordered or calories I really needed…) The wait staff seem to all be lovely young women, which may just be Ojai, or may be a marketing strategy, but the restaurant was almost empty and they were not very attentive of the customers that were there. A family at a nearby table waited and waited and waited for a check — they were finishing when I got seated, but they got their check just before I did, and I overheard them wondering for quite a while about what they needed to do to get attention. Then the wife and kids left, and the young lovelies came to help Dad right away…

Loved this spot. My formed and I stopped for breakfast before heading home from our stay in Ojai. They had lost to choose from, for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten free friends. The coffee was tasty and the oj was fresh squeezed with pulp. I loved that they bring you a complimentary crêpe after your order. It was the perfect touch because we were so hungry when we ordered. Also, I recommend the biscuit, fluffy and flakey! I would recommend to a friend and will be back for my next visit to Ojai.

Breakfast here is great! It starts off with a free Swedish pancake topped with jelly and powdered sugar. The coffee was strong. They brought out ketchup, pepper plant(amazing and sold at the hardware store next door), tapatillo, cholua and Tabasco-an amazing selection of hot sauces; was in heaven. I had a shredded pork omelet filled with green chiles, avocado, onions and cilantro-reminded me of New Mexico and was huge and amazing. It was 3 eggs. I had mine with fruit, which included pineapple, honey dew melon and cantaloupe. I opted not to have the bread or biscuit and gravy –side options for the meal and instead got a side of bacon… it was well cooked yet still chewy-perfect

Cozy, warm and friendly this is a great no frills breakfast spot. Huge portions of potatoes and eggs are just what I was expecting from a breakfast/lunch only diner. The coffee was good and kept coming but the creamer sits in pods on the table. Because they are French vanilla, I will let it slide. Cinnamon roll French toast was unnecessary because we all were brought free sweet crepes!
