Wonderful, professional full body oil massage with hot stones! My hubbie & I enjoyed our full 1 hour massage as a couple in a private room. very clean, relaxing and therapeutic. We came in without an appointment & were seen immediately! Will definitely return to the Bamboo Spa when in the area. highly recommended!

I live in Ojai. A few weeks ago, I threw my shoulder out and suffered for a couple weeks assuming «I could fix it.» My regular massage therapist was busy and recommended I come here and I am so pleased that she did this. I saw Jason and he did a wonderous chair massage for 30 minutes ($ 21 plus tip). A miracle occurred. I walked out of the Spa with no pain whatsoever. The «cure» mostly lasted, although I did have a twinge or two. So, a week later I returned for another of Jason’s treatments and it was as good as the first. For my third trip to Bamboo I once again enjoyed the upper body chair massage and added a wonderful soothing foot massage during which I fell soundly asleep! This appointment was called a combo and cost $ 35 plus tip. As you can image, I tip Jason well. I am lucky to live nearby and plan to visit the Bamboo Creek Spa often.

This is a 5 star massage spa at a very reasonable price. My wife and I along with another couple went to Bamboo Creek for two couple massages. Best we’ve ever had, and all four of us agreed. 90 massage for $ 65 each. Can’t beat that.
The ambiance is excellent too … clean, well appointed, and very friendly capable staff. All looked oriental, and there was a little language barrier, but we managed to tell them what we wanted, and they delivered… just excellent. They prefer cash, but they will take your credit card without a hassle. We live in Ojai, and I am sure we will go back… I know my wife is already planning her next trip.

We walked in and we’re immediately taken care of. Excellent massage. Heated beds, nice music and good massages for both of us. We would definitely return next time we visit Ojai!

I went to their grand opening in Anaheim Hills. The spa is very spacious in a beautiful & relaxing environment. They have something like over 10 foot massage chairs and another 10+ rooms for full body massages. They also have showers for the guests. I had a full body massage with the hot rocks. The therapist was outstanding and worth much more than what I paid which included 10 minutes extra for first time customer.

This place is great for an affordable, relaxing massage. The masseuses are sweet and accommodating. You can’t beat the price for a little pampering, $ 35 for an hour?!

This was my first time getting a professional massage so I don’t have anything to compare it to. With that being said the bar is set pretty high after the sweet combo the masseuse did an outstanding job at relieving my tension spots and asking if the pressure was good. I will definitely take my business back there again. It was a clean and professional establishment with great prices too.

Loved the affordable price but I’m not a fan. Maybe it’s because I’m used to getting sports massages and this isn’t my cup of tea. I took my mother here under the recommendation from a family friend. I let the lady know where I was soar and instead of concentrating on those areas she did weird things like karate chop my feet. Also on our way out, both our masseuses demanded a tip before we even had a chance to reach in our purses.

Great spot — I like this location a bit than their sister AA Relaxing Station, though I like AA if I“m in more of a rush. Since everyone is leaving such great, in-​depth reviews I thought I’d just list some pros/​cons, with a bit more detail on the cons.
Pros: price, ease of appointment scheduling, flexibility, quality massage, hours of operation
Cons: location-​wise, if you’re in the front room or anywhere near the front desk, you can hear cars zoom past on Ojai Ave throughout the massage, and there are always some customers who have NO clue how to act in a place like this and talk/​laugh/​cackle while at the front desk. Communication — English is a difficult language, as is Chinese — there is alot of pointing and hand gestures you have to go through in order to communicate any special preferences or questions — I’ve also had a few massages where my massage therapist was the most proficient in English out of anyone working that day and she/​he would have to leave in the middle of my massage maybe 4 – 5 times, and sometimes for a few minutes each time. I think it would be great if they just hired someone to work at the front desk. These massage therapists all work super hard and long hours. I always tip in cash and tip generously; it’s worth it

My hubby and I went to Ojai for a weekend and when we arrived, I was super stressed and achy from the car ride. Spontaneously decided I wanted a massage, but most places were booked and super expensive to boot. I saw a sign on this place and walked in. They took me right away for a full body 60 minute oil massage.
You fill out a form at the desk requesting type of massage, speed, pressure. I have heard about this type of Oriental massage but never had one. I was a little nervous when a man walked in to massage me! I’ve only had a few massages and never by a man. But I needn’t have worried. The massage was great and very thorough. I felt I had the full attention of the masseuse the entire time (you can tell when their mind is elsewhere). There were even hot stones (I didn’t expect this, but it was nice!)
The place was clean and well maintained. My husband waited for me in the lobby and he said it was so relaxing he almost fell asleep in the chair. I am definitely hooked on this type of massage. For $ 48 for one hour… wow, you can’t beat that!
P. S. they prefer cash, so it would be nice if you bring cash to pay.

I LOVE Bamboo Creek. The massages are amazing and the prices are low. This is not one of the many overpriced day spas in Ojai. It’s more efficient than that but is still relaxing. My only possible complaint is other customers! They come into the place chatting away and the people there are too nice to ask them to be quiet.
A couple tips, they’re hours are incredible (closing at around 10 or something) but I would avoid going late. I think they are tired and the massages reflect that. Otherwise, it’s all good!

WOW! Great hidden gem! Located just a little way from downtown Ojai but still close enough! Didnt want to pay for the overpriced services at resorts so serached for a place. Fairly new establishment (1.5 yrs) owned by Asians. Place was clean, tranquil, peaceful… very relaxing. Hubby and I got the Sweet Combo 90 mins full body massage for $ 65 each! Honestly cant beat that! Hot oil and hot stones… Aaahhh.!! My masseuse was wonderful… she applied the perfect amount of pressure (I like mine hard but not too much). It was nice we were in the same room. Highly recommend this place! Walk ins welcome too!

My friend and I went about a month ago to get a couples massage. When we walked in it was nicer then we thought and relaxing. They put us in our room together and started on my massage, the lady said they will start his soon. I was a little worried because it seemed like 10 minutes had passed by and they didn’t start his. Within a few minutes after I had asked the other lady walked in. That is my reason for the our stars.
Our massages though we’re amazing! They did a head to toe massage: oil, hot rocks, hand massage. The massages were seriously amazing! My friend lives in town. and after out massages it is hard to keep him away because he loves them so much! Defiantly going back to get my massage. I would recommend it to anyone

I have had some of the best massages ever from Jason at Bamboo Creek Spa. He is intuitive and knowledgable about the body.
He is the only therapist I recommend here.
The other therapists are not his caliber.

My husband and I refuse to pay resort prices so we decided to check this place out. We loved our massages – 90 minutes for $ 78 with hot stone! The technicians were professional and the massages were relaxing. The spa was clean as well. I deducted a point because the next day we went for foot massages. We went back because we loved the full body massages so much. The chairs were so comfortable and they had a big screen with a soothing video. The actual reflexology was more like just a massage, not too many pressure point manipulations. Here is the the point deduction. My husband and I were side by side and the whole time the two technicians were talking, albeit in a low whisper. It was annoying at best. I know, I should have said something, but I kept hoping they would stop. Next time I will know to say something to them.

Wonderful place for hot stone massage. My friend and I stopped in without appointments and we were able to both have great massages. Both of us were pleased and would go back. The facility had many chairs for foot massage. Maybe another trip! Very professional.

My daughter and I came to Ojai for a few days. The first thing we did was get full body massages here. The therapists were very professional and the facility was very clean and quiet. We both enjoyed our massages so much that we returned the next day for foot massages. Great experience and in our budget.
