Judy was amazing! I haven’t had good massage experiences, and Judy made me feel at ease. Her hands knew exactly what my body needed and I left totally grounded and centered again.

Great 90 minute massage ($ 115 before tip). Within the first 10 seconds, I could tell Judy was experienced in navigating the human body, and I basically just melted in her hands. She has over 22 years of experience in massage, and it was readily apparent.
For me, anything shorter than 90 minutes is too short and not satisfying enough so I recommend 90 minutes.
Her massage room was VERY relaxing. The sheets were so soft, with a heating pad underneath, and there’s relaxing music playing, as well as the sound of a water fountain running. It also smelled of essential oils.
There is just 1 massage bed, but if you want to do a couples massage, she said she can have that arranged as well.
There’s a parking lot in the back, so you can easily find parking there. It was easy to make an appointment by calling her number. She answered right away, and we arranged a time.

Judy is truly someone very special. I went to About Serenity Salon & Day Spa seeking a good massage to loosen my tight muscles and got so much more than that. She knew just what I needed and her massage wasn’t any old massage. Judy’s touch is very healing. Not only is she physically very strong, but you can feel the energy flowing through her fingers. She helped my sore muscles, yes… but she also helped my soul. I feel healed for having found her and if it wasn’t for the long distance between my home in NYC and her spa, I’d be seeing her weekly at least. If you’re in Ojai, do yourself a favor and book a massage with Judy. You’ll be better for having done it. I promise.

Donna’s massages are truly wonderful. She has a tremendous knowledge of human anatomy and physiology enabling her to zero in on troublesome areas. Donna is a very compassionate and caring person.
You will thoroughly relax and enjoy her massage – and feel terrific afterwards. Both my husband and I have been clients for years.

If you want «just a massage» go elsewhere … BUT. If you want a Magic. a magical massage, with SPARKLE and oneness, it’s in Judy’s hands. Incredible. Few people truly live their purpose, Judy is one of them. I am a better person for having found this master of touch. My story is not unusual, like many I came to Ojai slightly broken and in need of repair. I was in emotional and physical pieces and when I left Judy’s hands I was a whole … complete and beyond relaxed. Trance comes to mind. Lucky me, I also booked a manicure and stone pedicure. Another intoxicating experience. AND, as luck would have it, prior to my visit to Ojai, I happen to book a facial 2 days later… Nirvana! For those who understand, this is higher level «light» work at it’s finest. Thanks Judy!

Judy is more than amazing. I too don’t want to praise her so highly as she’ll be all booked up. My biggest regret is that I didn’t schedule two massages with her on my vacation to Ojai. Please do not go to the expensive hotel salons. This woman is amazing and knows how to cater to your every need. I cannot highly recommend her enough. She is so caring. Some people just have that special touch and for sure, Judy does. I only wish she were closer to me. I’d go every week! Seriously, do not miss a massage from her. Thank you Judy for a great, great massage. See you next year :-)

I had arranged for massages for my fiancé’ and I during a weekend getaway to Ojai with Judy. Since there were two of us, she arranged for another therapist to join her in her beautiful, serene space. It was seriously the best massage of my life. Judy’s caring and loving touch is evident from our first welcome. Her bright smile and comforting nature made me very comfortable immediately. I’m afraid to praise her too much or we wont’ be able to get appointments on future visits JUST KIDDING! If you want a wonderful, relaxing experience, call Judy! I went to Judy this weekend for a relaxation day. My massage was incredible, one of the best. Judy gives you her full attention and she operates the business on her own, which means no other distractions. I would definitely come back again and definitely recommend that anyone going to Ojai should go straight to About Serenity.

Not only a beautiful and peaceful space for a massage or any service, but also Judy is very friendly and a true professional. Best massage I have ever had and finally someone who put the effort into figuring out the best way to cut and style my hair. Also have had the most wonderful pedicures. Always feel relaxed and renewed after any service by Judy.
