The blind above my kitchen sink came tumbling down and after several clueless attempts at trying to put it back up I gave up and called several blind repair companies to reinstall it. Greg at Shutter Nation was the only one who called me back and instead of charging me $ 75.00 to come and snap it back into place, he walked me through the process and I did it myself. All for free! So impressed with Greg and this company. I will definitely call them for any future needs and hope you do too — so great to see a business that isn’t just in it for the money. Greg was incredibly patient, did all the research (which was extensive — even calling the manufacturer), came out and looked at my shutter issues and — very patiently — educated me on the options only showed the highest integrity. Highest rating.

Looked and talked and researched for weeks and weeks. Greg at Shutter Nation was straight forward and never pressed the «buy now!» sales pressure. In fact, because he did not pressure us, coupled with the great price, was the reason why we went with them. Install was seamless and the installer was well dressed, quiet and respectful. Not a speck of dirt or window sill debris on the floor/​carpet after he finished the install. Shutters sold here are great quality.

Greg at Shutter Nation was a pleasure to deal with and the shutters he provided are exactly what we were looking for. We have a large arched window and we wanted non-​wood «plantation» shutters (to avoid wood warping and for maximum insulation) that opened all the way into the arch and did so without a visible wand. We got 5 estimates (and not all the companies could provide what we wanted, some sold only wood shutters, another provided the composite shutters but had to make the frame out of wood, etc.) and Shutter Nation was neither the least expensive nor the most expensive estimate, but rather pretty much right in the middle. Only one other company had a better warranty, but their estimate was approximately 60% higher than Shutter Nation. I might also add that Shutter Nation uses the manufacturer’s installers so there is no question of warranty fulfillment because of incorrect installation. The materials are excellent and the measurements they made were spot on. The arched frame arrived in one piece and fit perfectly, as do the shutters themselves. Greg was most helpful in advising us about suggested sizes for frame and width of the components of the shutter. We might have made some regrettable choices without his guidance. We could not be more thrilled with the shutters. They look great, operate flawlessly and have an excellent warranty. We did have to wait a while between order and installation, but when one is seeking quality custom work, that is a reasonable trade-​off. If we choose to install more shutters in the future, Greg at Shutter Nation will be the supplier.

We just had Shutter Nation install shutters throughout the lower floor of our three-​bedroom townhouse. The quality is absolutely top-​notch. Their sales and installation personnel were professional and easy to work with, and the installation went flawlessly. The experience had only two negatives: The shutters ain’t cheap (You get what you pay for, I suppose) and there was an 8 week lag between our first contact with the company and the eventual installation. I have no qualms about recommending shutter nation with these caveats: Be prepared to pay, and be prepared to wait. But the results will be worth waiting (and paying) for.
