Happy I took my Mountain Bike here. Friendly employees, gave me good advice and knowledge. Road my bike home from the shop. It had an amazing ride. Better from the time I first bought it.

Bought a KHS road bike less than a year from now. I love it! They stand by their service and have been very fair to me with any issue I’ve had. I highly recommend doing business with this fine establishment!

The owner was very helpful, told me exactly what I wanted to know. Friendly, great service, though the interior of the store is a little messy looking

Omega Bike shop and Mark’s team are awesome. Military friendly with 10% discount. I have been taking my bikes to these guys for years and it is always good service and quality work. if something isn’t done right the first time they fix it. no questions. I’ll continue to bring my bikes to them as long as I live in the area…

Rolled into town to visit with the BFF family with the intention of taking my bike out for some long rides, only to realize that the guy at my local bike shop had forgotten to tighten up the rear brakes and they were basically non-functional(probably because we were gabbing, so partially my bad). Brought my baby over to Omega and Mark adjusted them perfectly. I was all set to go for a ride with the nephews a couple of days later and the rear tire was completely flat. I didn’t have my bike pump with me and the BFF’s didn’t have the adapter necessary so… What’s the point of changing the tube if you can’t pump it up? Back to Omega I went. Mark quickly replaced the tube, found a rough spot that would cause another flat and dealt with it, and tossed in an adapter so I could use my friend’s pump in the future. I’d highly recommend Omega to anyone from serious cyclist to easy-breezy beach cruiser. Thank you, Omega!

Took my bike in for a tune up and overall adjustment. Two day turn around even though they seemed busy. Brian the mechanic was very helpful and seemed to know his stuff. Would go back again.

Omega Cyclery Oceanside –86 cents in parts for a spoke and nipple-$ 30 to install nipple and spoke. I had the previous one done for $ 11. If I had not been in need and my regular shop open I would have gone there never to set foot in this place again.

I’ve had mixed experiences at this shop. They’ve fixed some things for me in a timely manner. But the last time I was there, the repair took a long time, and in the end, the problem I brought the bike in for was not resolved. Also, although the mechanics there are nice, the owner can be downright surly. With a number of other choices in bike shops, I will not be returning to Omega.

Basically, my bike is my car. I commute every single day, like clockwork. When I broke a spoke, I went to another corporate bike shop, and they could have it ready… next Wednesday(this was a Monday, so in about ten days). I decided to call Omega. For a better price, I found a great bike shop that caters to hard core commuters and everyone alike, and they had it done within twenty minutes. The wheel had never been truer, and they made a friend and customer for life.

My son needed a new/used bike mechanically detailed before he left for college. After calling Omega Bikes, Chris, who answered; was very knowledgeable about what we needed and stated he could take care of it asap. To our dismay Chris was able to do all the work in an hour and was helpful in picking out the right parts we needed/wanted. Thank you Chris for sharing your bike expertise and accommodating us on such short notice! Knowledge and cordial service are why we will come back to Omega Bikes!

I took my mountain bike there for their«tune-up» service. When I got it home, the ONLY thing they actually did was replace the tire tubes. No lubrication or anything was performed. They couldn’t even clean the bike or wipe it down to remove some dust or dirt! What a joke and a waste of $ 70. Save your time and money and instead for down to coast highway to Alans Bike Shop — that place is awesome and very helpful!

Called this afternoon to ask a few basic questions(how long, how much, etc) about a quick cassette swap on a rear wheel and the man I spoke with was very short and impatient with me and that«it is too busy»…to handle the 5 minute repair job. After feeling like I was inconveniencing him, I finally got a relatively expensive estimate, one that basically said«take your business elsewhere please» in not so many words. I get that things can be too busy, but rather than making your potential customers feel like their putting you out, don’t answer the phone at all or be flat out honest that you can’t handle any more jobs at that time. Small, local bike shops should pride themselves on customer service to keep business rolling in. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere.

This shop is a terrific find. They’re tucked back in a corner of a shopping center, but worth the effort to find. They’re professional, affordable and exceeded my expectations. They’re friendly and helpful and I’ll be a happy return customer.

Luv this bike shop! The service is excellent and very helpful. These guys know their stuff. They carry a selection of everything you’d need for your riding experience and reasonably priced. Nice to have such a quality business local!

I’ve heard good things about this bike shop, and they give a military discount, so I stopped in. I needed a helmet, and I was looking for Snell certification(THE certification to trust, when it comes to buying a bike helmet)… and the owner had no idea what Snell is. That’s fine, I understand. I don’t expect a bike shop owner to know everything about bike safety gear. And he was nice enough to ask more about it — I’m glad he wanted to learn.(And no, he doesn’t carry any Snell certified helmets.) I did end up buying a couple things for my bike, and when I was at the register I pulled out my military ID for the discount. The owner looked at my ID and HEMADEFUNOFMYHUSBAND’S RANK!!! He was very insulting, and I felt extremely crappy. I should’ve just dropped my goods and walked away, but I finished the transaction. Needless to say, I will NOT be back. I’d rather not get a discount, than to get a discount and then get personally insulted.(I’ll admit, I did cry when I got to my car.)

This is with out a doubt the best bike shop around as I called and spoke to a guy name Brad and told him my boy had a flat on his bike and he told me to bring it in and he would take care of it. As soon as I got there the owner Mark came to greet me and then Brad was working on a bike in the back, He drop what he was doing and fixed the tire that was flat and show me where I had the wrong valve stem in the bike so he sold me a good tube and tire at a great price, I knew after that this man was honest and had me in and out in no time while I waited so my boy was able to go to work, I highly recommend this place and I will be back when I need something else.

The owner is mad cool, apparently he still competes in the«old folk» bmx racing. Knowledgeable for his trade. I went there and it seems his Protégé may have did something wrong since I had to return. Other then that cool lil spot.
