Ok Reino is back! This place is so much better when he’s on top of it. I stopped coming here for awhile because he got transferred but now that he’s managing, Ill be back more. This location has the best subs of all the Jersey Mikes in North County. Hands down. Original review: You know what is great about a Jersey Mikes? Some awesome people work there. This one is not one of those places. The only employee worth much over there that I’ve seen is The petite indian guy named Reino. He works harder then half the staff combined. The food is cooked well there and I appreciate the calmness in the place every time Ive been there though. Promote the industrious indian-american guy to manager so everything else can run smoothly and it’s a five star place for sure.

Love the Sandwich they serve. However, went in this afternoon to grab a sandwich after work. The staff took three phone orders and then my order. They began making phone Orders first after 10 min my sandwich was halfway complete and then another phone call, stopping my order again. How about helping the people in the store then start the work on phone orders?

We ordered a boxed lunch for a party we were having and the sandwiches were great. We had a little mishap when we went to pick up the sandwiches in that the store never received our online order. One of the employees jumped right on it though and let us know that she would get the sandwiches made right away and have it ready in about 10 – 15 minutes. She also very generously discounted the order for the inconvenience. Great customer service and we will definitely be back.

I love their subs! Hot and fresh! The meat is sliced right in front of you. So much better than subway! Everyone is super sweet as well! If you ever have a chance to meet joey, he will make your experience that much better! His customer service is awesome!

Another visit with them forgeting ingredients. Minor frustration. Although this time I had to drive back to them because they got carried away with the oil. My sandwich was swimming in it. Soggy and gross.

Funny reading so many reviews that echo my same feelings in regards to this place. At first we were jazzed to see a Jersey Mike’s opening within a 5 min drive of our house. Only to be constantly annoyed time & time again to the point that we’ve decided to never go back. The employees & management here are downright obnoxious! May I please get my sandwich without a side a ham?

Another fantastic JM’s location. We just moved to the area and we’re stoked to have one nearby. They don’t disappoint. Extremely friendly and conversational staff and as always, their sandwiches are the best you can get at a fast-serve place. Always fresh and high-quality ingredients. #13 Mike’s Way with extra juice all day! Literally though, we eat here at least once a week so I get a break from cooking Enjoy!

Gross. An employee making a Philly cheese steak sandwich grabbed raw meat and with the same gloves grabbed bread and cut it. He totally got an attitude with me when I asked him to change his gloves, get me a different piece of bread and use a different knife. As if his lack of training is my fault. Not only did he throw the knife like a toddler, he used that same knife to cut the new bread. Contaminating my 10 dollar sandwich. I wasn’t about to argue further. But his attitude made me want to explain why we don’t touch other food after touching raw meat. So I did… his response«we always make sandwiches like this, every day…» Ummm… someone please get the health department in there. Everyone else working was a little stunned by his response.

I agree with the other reviews… The food is ok, made to order, a little pricey. No complaints though. The issue is the employees and the flys. The employees are dumb as a box of bricks. Never take your eyes off your food… They are sloppy and will get something on your sandwich you don’t want. The meat slicer never shuts up and acts like a general idiot. If your sandwich survives and you don’t have a headache by this point, The guy at the end will roll your sandwich up like a burrito and squash the heck out of it, nullifying the care you took in making sure they didn’t mess your sandwich up. If you ask them not squash it, they act like you are insane. I generally grab my sandwich and wrap it gently and place it in a bag… Like a normal person…

In a nutshell… I will never be back. Fly issue that employees are very aware of… how about we start with cleaning the restaurant better? Singing moron that slices the meat and loves to pick on woman customers. I’m a huge fan of this brand, but go to another one.

I go to a lot of sandwich shops for lunch because I never know where I’ll be working at any given hour. I’ve probably been to twenty or so different Jersey Mike’s in the greater San Diego area, and this one is the worst. Not because of the food, but because of the employees. The food is fine, don’t get me wrong. Made correctly to order. Tastes great. The issue is if you’re dining in the location, a couple of the employees are really loud. One of them is constantly singing, poorly, in between helping customers. I have no qualms with employees having fun at work. It keeps morale up. But when your fun is being extremely loud and singing poorly(he could be heard outside the store) then it’s a problem. You shouldn’t have any problems if you get your food to go, or if the two singers are not working, but if you want to dine in I highly suggest eating outside.

The only reason this is not five stars is because the prices are pretty high for a sammich shop. The food is great though… The bread is really good. Getting it «Mike’s Way» is highly recommended if you like a slight vinegary taste. If you ever get coupons, use them! Otherwise you are paying a lot. However, if you are not starving, splitting a combo meal is best. Split the sammich, and share the chips and re-fillable fountain drink.

Best fast deli sandwich ever! Generally jersey mike’s is delish, but this location specifically was great because of the service! If you’re hungry and in a great mood stop by and see Joey! If you’re feeling crappy but hungry, stop by and see Joey! Or just stop by and see Joey! He has a greatest attitude! Outgoing, pleasant, funny, great recommendations on the menu and cheerful! Turkey sandwich was delicious and we even got a yummy free cookie! Bummer I don’t live nearby to come here more often when i want a good sub sandwich! Keep it up Joey and thank you!

Not too bad. Decent sandwiches and wraps but pricing could be a little better. Service is excellente. The people at all the Jersey Mikes in general, have been super outgoing and friendly, the way I’d like to be if I wasn’t so exhausted most of the time, lol! This location here is right by my house. The parking lot is kinda small and I don’t really care for any of the surrounding stores so I hadn’t stopped by this location since we moved in the area. Also I probably didn’t come in sooner cause I remember the first time I went to a Jersey Mkes I didn’t care for the«Mikes Way» style that came highly recommended, because it included vinegar, yuk points for me. But decided to come back and give JM another chance but just not do the mikes way thing. I got a turkey wrap with the spinach tortilla. It was yummers! And a nice alternative to a sandwich. Loved the green tortilla though it could have been softer. One other small thing, the ends were thick-like, maybe folded in to much and made for a lotta tortilla in the first and last few bites. But not a deal breaker, I just tore off the extra tortilla. My hubby got the chicken bacon ranch steak. Was a little confused because it was being called chicken but also steak. Either way it was pretty bomb. My son got a basic ham lettuce sandwich. The bread in general for the sandwiches was thicker and not as soft as we like. We also got a large drink and two chips for $ 27. So it wasn’t cheap, but a little higher quality and variety then say Subway though I think Subway has the softer bread that I prefer but they don’t do wraps. All in all, pretty good. I like that it’s healthy too. I like having healthy fast food options out there, and wish there were more places like this and less burger places.

The subs are very good, but one does not seem to get a lot in them. So far the only times I have gone is with a coupon. They also do not really seem to have their act together yet. It was really crowded and disorganized when they opened. One time the cashier was also handling and wrapping subs. When I pointed this out to the manger/owner he said it was OK since he was wearing gloves. The only thing the gloves were protecting was his hands, since he was transferring whatever was on the register from whoever used it to the subs on the outside of the gloves !

I came in during the first week they opened on a Saturday evening and it was a mad house. The employees didn’t seem frustrated and they just kept moving. I did see a nice size tv or two in their small dining area. I’ve been to other Jersey Mike’s so I knew what to expect. The prices are a little high but you get more meat on the cold cuts then Subway. I just got turkey and left I’m not for sure if they have anything sweet to eat. I will definitely return to Jersey Mike’s.

Customer service was great today! I was greeted as soon as I entered and the staff was friendly and talkative. I have been to other locations and I am glad this one has opened up near the base! Their sandwiches are freshly cut and all your veggies are too! You have to have it Mike’s way if you ask me for the dressing and toppings! They have a good variety of sandwiches and don’t forget to pick up some tasty cakes! What I ordered: #7 Turkey with Provolone Mike’s Way of course! Cost around 8 bucks not too bad as the size and taste will have you coming back for more!
