I enjoy going to sandwich shops because being a vegetarian you can always get something that will appeal to you. At most sandwich places the veggie sub is at least $ 2.00−3.00 cheaper for the sandwich because it is sans meat. My husband and I each ordered a sandwich and they were the exact same price. How is it possible the sandwiches are the same price when mine was minus any meat? When I inquired about this the worker just stared with a blank expression on his face and moved quickly on to the next customer. The store was also extremely dirty and seemed to be void of anyone who cared. For this simply reason I won’t be back.

I love their sandwiches. I haven’t found one I dislike yet. It is not a place you go if you’re in a rush, as it takes a bit longer to make and heat your sandwich, but well worth the wait. I recommend them highly and it’s next to Barnes & Noble and Jamba Juice(in case you need help locating them). You can also purchase their pickle buckets and the money goes to help local firefighters.

I love firehouse subs but I would say that customer service has a lot to do with the brand as well. I walk in there and as I approach the cashier missy, said a comment talking about«someone getting cut» then smiled as I came up and asked in a sarcastic«what could I help you with» as if I didn’t just hear her threatening comment. I ignored it but what I couldn’t ignore was her attitude she really cannot be acting like that on the line at work, she made my stay uncomfortable and I just wanted to get the hell out of there honestly. I had asked for extra pickles and She didn’t seem like she was interested in the order I gave, both her and the other women she was working with gave me and my friend bad vibes. I said good bye twice supposably missy didn’t hear me until I called out her name because I thought that was rude and left to my car. We began to eat and to my surprise the extra Pickles were not there!!! Every sandwich automatically comes with 1 pickle and the fact that these 2 women forgot at least 1 pickle was odd to me since its there job to make these orders! If I would have left to my house and found no pickles when I asked for extra I would have been super upset given how far I live and how much I paid for the food. I went back in and demanded both pickles but I just felt like they did that on purpose. I’m not going back to this location and the way there attitudes are I doubt others will continue to eat there as well. I ate my sandwich even after I found the nastiest old piece of lettuce the employees stuck in my sandwich I seriously don’t even trust the other things they put in there whatever it is that’s he last time I’m eating at this location period.

My sandwich was very tasty. The meat was juicy and bread was soft. But they took forever! There was only 2 other people here but my order took almost 20 minutes. I don’t see how or why it could take so long but it did. I don’t see how they could forget about 1 of the 3 customers in the building? Food was great. But service was slooooooow. :/

Found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. My wife and I weren’t to hungry so we wanted something on the smaller portion size. Apparently they only serve medium(8in.) and large(12in.) subs. They reserve their small subs for a select few«kids» menu subs only. The food was average, and the service was on the slow side for a sandwich place. What was more irritating was the staff did not have a friendly, welcoming attitude. Since I am from out of town I doubt I will ever be back to this establishment.

I figured I would paint a picture for this review to sort of spice things up(get it? Because it’s a place known for it’s spice?). Anyway, my boyfriend and I arrive, we’ve never been here before. We walk in and the place is buzzing. There was people everywhere and a table full of kids(I’m assuming a birthday party). The ambiance was great though and the theme was very firehouse-esque. We stared at the menu, doe eye-eyed and a little confused when a woman named Missy came to our rescue. She asked us if we had ever been there before, which we responded with a no. She then proceeded to excitedly tell us what they were all about, how to read the menu, and even gave us a couple recommendations. She then politely waited for us to figure out our orders. When we were finally ready she took our orders with a smile and let us find seating. We sat with our drinks for maybe 10 minutes at most before our food was ready. Now, I wanted to take a picture of our sandwiches as they were very aesthetically pleasing, but the smell was just so good that I couldn’t wait. We dug into the sandwiches and my boyfriend even poked himself with the toothpick because he was eating(more like inhaling) his so fast. Before we left my boyfriend ordered a second sandwich, from a different lady, to take home. The girl was very friendly as well, but when my boyfriend was confused on the difference between banana peppers and peppercinis, Missy overheard them and was back to help once more. She blew his mind as he never knew they were two separate things, nor what the difference was. *in case anyone was wondering, banana peppers are normally sliced with a somewhat sweet taste while peppercinis are normally served whole and are spicier.* To sum things up: our experience was fantastic, the service was incredible and the food was drool-worthy. We now have a new favourite sandwich spot.

First time here. Service was nice. Young lady recommended meals for my girlfriend and I. Very polite. Food was prepped fast and fresh. I’d prefer this place over competitors on service, flavor, and they are family oriented. Kids eat free Monday — Thursday! I’ll be back soon! Thank you for an awesome experience.

Yum yum yum! This place is awesome, family friendly environment and hearty subs. First time here and I got the Italian sub. So many flavors in one bite, sweet, spicy and tangy all in one. I will definitely be back Service was prompt and friendly too:)

Been here a few times, the sandwiches are pretty decent. The wait time wasn’t too bad this time, but the last time was strangely long, since I was pretty much the only one in line and there were about 6 people working at the time. Most of the sandwiches I’ve had were pretty good, but I normally get either the New York Steamer(Corned Beef, Pastrami, Provolone) or the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar(Smoked brisket, cheddar, bbq sauce). The meat is steamed to help add some moisture and melt the cheese before putting it together. There are combos available, and they come with a bag of chips and a drink(32oz?). I don’t mind coming here once in a while, but it’s not the cheapest place to eat.

Ever since I discovered Firehouse Subs, I have loved all their subs(my usual being the Engineer Sub). However, today shows what I have been seeing as a pattern; in that despite not being busy, I am usually having to wait close to 15 minutes for my sub. The key reason I am seeing for this is a lack of leadership as well as a lack of personnel(only three people when I walked out here 2 min ago). Being a Marine Corps Veteran, I wanted to jump behind the counter and provide direction… Great subs but needs improvement in leadership, training and additional personnel.

Went here today and there were only two people waiting on their orders and two girls working. They both acted ditzy and unprofessional. Took forever to give people their orders. I said NO pickle spears and low and behold I get home and pickle spears with both sandwiches. Also asked for extra cheese and there was no cheese(and I was charged). I don’t know that I’ll be returning. Clearly being literate and having an education beyond 8th grade is not a requirement for this job. Tip: it’s really not cute to act dumb. P. S. My order was taken at 3, so it was those two twits working at that time.

Horrible 25 minutes to get a sandwich exactly off the menu. Then they gave me something completely different from what I ordered. This place is disorganized and it shows by the poor service and not filling a basic order correctly. You need to be desperate to go here. When they gave me my food they were rude.

Never been to this franchise before and after this experience I do not plan on returning. I did not try the food(picking up for my wife) but the experience was DREADFUL. It was 12:15pm today and there was ONE(yes 1) customer ahead of me. All I ordered was a grilled chicken salad. It took THIRTYMINUTES to get this to go salad — are you kidding me!!! Never again thanks — this is supposed to be quick — but it ain’t!!! Review #182016

Took advantage of the free medium Sub on my hubby’s Birthday this past week. Wow, love the food! The subs are such a step above in taste, size is good, prices little bit high… but, hopefully can find good coupons. The atmosphere is so cool! Can’t wait to take my grand kids when they visit this summer, best my 4 yr. old little guy will love this! Also, saw all the awesome community aspect of this business… that aspect makes you want to spend your dollars here! thanks Firehouse, what a great birthday gift!

On the way to visit our friends in San Diego we stopped by to grab a quick bite. We Unilocaled and this joint showed up with good ratings. We ordered their New York pastrami combo and a chicken sandwich. Total with tax came to $ 19.95. Pros: Ambiance is unique. Ian absolutely loved the Fire station setup.(+1) New York pastrami was good. TV’s playing games. Cons: Coke machine was more like a puzzle. Too many options. Price was $ 2.00 more than what I would normally pay for the taste and quantity.(–1) I would stop by again in the future as Ian will be thoroughly entertained by the décor!

Food: similar to Subway quality. I ordered the Steak and Cheese because it looked to good in the picture. When I received my sub, it looked nothing like the picture. They skimp you on the steak and hardly put any cheese or peppers on there. The bread was dry and definitely not fresh tasting. The flavor in the steak was ok, but it was scarce. I was let down by going off what the picture of the steak shows on the advertisement. Tons of different hot sauces to try here from 1 – 10 in heat strength. I tried their version of hot sauce and it was not hot at all and tasted more like BBQ sauce. The soda machine is Coke product and it is digital so they have a large variety of flavors. They have unsweetened and sweetened ice tea next to the soda machines too. I chose to go with an Arnold Palmer(unsweet tea and lemonade minute made lite). They have lemon wedges in this section as well. Service: service was pretty good. There was a mic lady that helped us. I got a free soda for downloading their app and signing up for their emails. You receive award points for each visit and the amt of money you spend here. We ordered our food to dine-in and it was brought out to us in a bag to go. Someone else received their food from the lady working and she dropped the bag on the floor and then handed it to the gentleman. She didn’t even as if he wanted a different sandwich. My sandwich looked like it was dropped on the floor too, but it wasn’t. Parking: lot is shared with many other places. Parking can get crappy on a busy weekend. We had no trouble on a weekday in October around 1p. Atmosphere: this is the best thing about this place. Very cool and everything is related to the heros. They even have firefighter turnout gear and plastic fire hats for kids to take home. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great AC inside to enjoy on a hot day. There are a couple TVs with sports games on.

Came here for lunch on my birthday because the trick is if you show your ID verifying it’s your birthday, you get a free 8″ sub. At first I was thinking… 8″?! That’s huge! But don’t be fooled, it’s really not. I ordered the Italian and it was good. I’ll admit I’m not a huge fan of baked subs, but I will never complain about a free meal. It’s not as big as other sandwiches from sub shops as far as meat and toppings go, they kinda skimp you. My sandwich was just average. The atmosphere was pretty cool, I love how the décor is catered to Firefighters. The whole concept is pretty awesome. The store was clean, and the AC was cranked which was nice.

Good food, clean, and good place for a meatball sub! The staff was amazing and very quick to help us out in anyway that we needed. Every time we have been to this location it is always been good I love stopping by and grab a sub every now and then.

Pretty good sandwich, this is my first time here and I actually like the layout and options. The 500 calories or less menu is awesome! I got the turkey and cranberry which was interesting. Didn’t hate it but thought it could have used a little something. Nonetheless excited to come back and try everything else! And for this location, fantastic customer service. Polite and fast, they even held the door open when I left! Love it.
