I look forward to Kohr Bro’s every year when I go to the beach!!! The custard here is so incredibly soft & creamy it is literally my favorite dessert at the beach. Especially the orange & vanilla twist! It’s been my go to since I was a kid :) Skip restaurant dessert and come here. There’s several locations along the boardwalk & coastal highway.

Delicious Ice Cream/Custard! I highly recommend this place, especially the Chocolate/Peanut Butter twist. There are two locations on the boardwalk.(Not that far from each other, but near the inlets.) They have a lot of flavors.(From Vanilla to Coffee) I always get excited for this place, and stop there almost every night during my vacation every year. Please go here. :)

My favorite place to go for ice cream a the shore. I like all of the flavors but my favorite is the coffee and caramel twist with chocolate sprinkles. I wish it was less expensive but these days ice cream is pricey anywhere so why not enjoy the best.

We had some today so cold outside but we waited and she gave my dad a free cone for the wait. I had vanilla and orange mix with jimmies(sprinkles) on top. She made it very large. And the price was low for the ice cream.

Obviously the best custard in the world. All other custards shy away from it in fear. The peanut butter is unbelievable! STOPREADINGTHISANDGONOW!

This is my favorite sweets place on the boardwalk. The frozen custard is out of this world and the small is not small at all. You can get flavors in a twist and I got chocolate vanilla swirl but there was also strawberry banana swirl, orange cream and vanilla swirl, chocolate mint swirl etc. Or you can just get one flavor. Sugar cones and waffle cones as a choice or a cup. Minus one star because the service was rude. Stood at the counter for a couple of minutes before the girl even acknowledged my presence. Finally I just asked for what I wanted and still without even a glance at me, she rolled her eyes and got my cone, handed it to me and said the price. I paid, no thank you, no see ya later, just took my money and acted like I was never there. Good thing the frozen custard is so good because the service is rude.

When I think of summertime, the beach and boardwalks I think of Kohr Bros. They serve frozen custard with the traditional vanilla chocolate swirl and vanilla orange sherbert swirl. Through the years they have added new flavors like peanut butter and dulce de leche(spanish caramel). They offer cup/cone and both chocolate and rainbow sprinkles(or jimmies depending where you are from) I always stick with a classic… small vanilla in a cup with chocolate sprinkles. Can’t mess with perfection!

This place has THEBEST soft serve custard I’ve ever tasted! When we were in Ocean City recently they offered pumpkin & cinnamon flavors that you could get separately or swirled together. I love anything pumpkin so I chose just that, no cinnamon. It was so smooth & creamy, had the perfect amount of spices in it, just delicious. I’m craving one right now! The perfect treat while strolling the boardwalk & people watching. Along with Thrashers Fries, Dolle’s Popcorn & Taffy, this is now one place I’ll be looking forward to on our next visit! I wish they had more of these franchises around the D.C. metro area, there used to be one in Annapolis Mall but I think it’s now closed. If you’re in O.C. stop in & try this stuff, I’m sure the pumpkin & cinnamon are seasonal but the other flavors are amazing as well. Don’t get dessert after dinner at restaurants, stroll down the boardwalk and treat yourself to a cone(or cup or waffle cone) of this delicious treat!

The service here was really bad this past season, but I don’t care, the Frozen Custard is so good I’ll be a customer for life! This boardwalk treat is an OCMD and Rehoboth classic, and happily now in Fenwick too. every flavor is a winner. My fav way to enjoy the custard is on a cone with chocolate jimmies!

I’ve been craving frozen custard for a long time, so you can imagine my reaction to seeing the Kohr Bros sign. It was somewhere between a lion taking down a gazelle and sobbing with happiness. I ended up getting a small cone and it was spot on. Creamy. Cold. Awesome. Damn, now I’m hungry again. Last but not least, the friendly eastern european girls manning the counter were great!

OK… ill be honest. This isnt the location that I ate at. But, the location I ate at is in this vicinity but does not seem to exist on Unilocal or even the Kohrs website. I was on my iPhone trying to find the real location and check but no luck. I swear it exists! So anyways… My first time at Kohr’s and I liked it alot. Im not sure if Ive had frozen custard before but the whole time I was eating it I imagined little fat molecules sticking to my insides because it was so creamy. It just had to be fattening. I only got the vanilla because im boring when it comes to ice cream but there were alot of different flavors. The regular size is only $ 5. If I come across a Kohrs again I will definitely be hitting it up.
