These are college kids behind the counter visiting from another country to enjoy OC. With that they need an adult that is fluent in English there… Food is expensive but what bothered me was they ran out of cream for coffee at 8:30… What coffee shop runs out of cream at 8:30!!!

If you want a real breakfast sandwich don’t go here! Your better off going to Mcdonalds. It was a processed egg patty and kraft cheese. To top it off it was cold as if they just slapped it all on from the fridge. It was also expensive 6.99 for a cold ham, egg, and cheese. Will never go here again and will never recommend to anyone.

I so badly wanted to love this place. It’s conveniently located in the lobby of the Grand Spa & Hotel where we were staying. We came around 10:30 on a saturday to get some coffee and breakfast. The line was short but the preparation took much longer than expected. I had ordered a specialty drink, however when the barista announced it 5 minutes later, she called it a different name. About 8 minutes later I ask her if it’s my drink and both baristas kind of shrugs and says yes(it ended up being the wrong drink– a plain black coffee with some flavor syrup, and they never made the drink I ordered– and paid for) The food took much longer. I think at this point we were so hungry that the food tasted amazing. The next day we gave them another shot. The wait was the same, except I ordered the same exact drink and got a completely different beverage than the one I received the day before. I tried to order a light breakfast but the cashier could not understand me for her life. After many times of repeating myself, I went ahead and ordered something easier to understand. Although, I feel like you should really know your menu, and key words like yogurt. The second time around, the drink was good, but the food just wasn’t as tasty– without the hunger, we could compare the food to jimmy deans frozen breakfast. I would not come back here, I’d prefer to drive up to the McDonald’s on the main road for my coffee and breakfast.

This place is the most comfortable in the area. Everything is fresh. Tried different sandwiches and sweets for last 3 days, and everything is surprisingly great ! Thank you !

Too pricey for snacks, I didn’t bother ordering any coffee. Looked nice in there though.

The Russians here will blatantly talk to their friends while customers are waiting in line. They try to charge you 25 cents for butter. The coffee here was burnt. If you really need coffee in the morning I would hold off. Not a place you want to take your girlfriend. Also no wifi.

Limited selection of(sub-par) bagels, not super fresh Krispy-Kreme donuts, medeocre service. Maybe an ok place to grab coffee if you are staying right there in the Grand Hotel, but was not worth the drive down from mid-town OC. Don’t go out of your way to visit.
