The service has always been welcoming and fast and the orders have always been accurate. The owners keep a watchful eye on this location so the shop stays extremely clean. I frequent JJ’s across the country and this one might be the best!

Very tasty sandwich and exceedingly kind service. The whole staff was polite, effective and hygienic. I attribute this to top notch management and hiring practices. Well done. This was my first trip to a Jimmy John’s location and I will be back again.

Just know it’s the basic with great bread. The pickled are always a great addition to your sandwich.

Very rude person who answered phone… like I had bothered them and then told me they don’t deliver 3 miles… first time ever calling and the last.

Tried the in Gainesville of Archer RD, so i knew what to expect when i came to Ocala, the service was great, fast and helpful staff to help me with any questions I had about the combos or the sadwitches they serve, they definitely have no competition as i find subway not even close to their quality, i like their bread and they do make great suggestions (the Italian is a lot better with hot peppers), i will come back for sure.

Got my 8 inch sub it had exactly 2 slices of ham, 3 slices of salami and 2 slices of cheese. Skimpiest sub I’ve ever gotten from anywhere. Will never go there again.

So… Jimmy John’s has come to Ocala.
If fast, no frills subs is what you’re looking for, this is the place to come. Basic ham, roast beef, turkey & salami. Though I do find their «real wood smoked ham» ingenuous. Geeze, I really wanted the plastic wood smoked ham… it tastes so much more flavorful.
Décor: Signs of insignificant little known facts plaster the walls and the restroom floor. You’re reminded of their 3 tag lines everywhere. A small space that you can eat in, outside, take out or have delivered.
Cleanliness: Everything in front of house is spotless including the restroom. Though it would be nice if one of the 12 employees working would wipe down the tables once in a while.
Food: Hmmmm. An 8″ white bread sub (wheat sandwich bread is available) w/​2 slices of meat, sliced tomato and a bit of shredded iceberg does not a sub make. Oh, you can get cheese on it too but it’ll cost you .75 cents extra (they don’t tell you that). Compared to a Publix 12″ sub that’s on sale for the same price w/​tons of meat, cheese and all the toppings your heart desires Jimmy John’s loses out.
They have 3 tag lines: «Your mom wants you to eat at Jimmy John’s», «Subs so fast you’ll freak» and «World’s greatest Gourmet Sandwiches». Yes, they’re fast. No, not gourmet. No, they’re not the world’s greatest.
