i thought the sign said«vienna dogs» so i stopped to get one. polish and all dogs(2.75)are priced the same. combos are up(3.99). when the owner said they weren’t vienna but«millers» and said the sign says so. i got one anyways with everything on it. this dog had lots of tomato, onions, jalepenos and all the other garnishes on it but a distinguishing taste it didn’t have. why does anything will the name«miller» in it not deliver”(reference to dennis miller who some say is a comedian.) i’ve bought millers at retail and wasn’t impressed either. no repeat.

At the corner of Oak and 2nd is a random hot dog cart and it is good. Right out there in front of Peerless Coffee, not sure if it has a name and it certainly does not have any fancy website or phone number. The dogs are good, I like the polish, and he has this great tomato salsa like concoction that goes great with a spicy sausage. A hot dog, bag of chips and soda is $ 3.50 making this one of the better meal deals in the region. I have now had three dogs from this stand and no stomach related incidents, which is the true test of street food, so if you are in the ‘hood give them a try.
