i miss Dahlke’s. Dahlke’s hof brau hasn’t been across the police station for quite a while. famous for their corned beef and roast beef sammie, they had everything an hof brau would have except for high prices. generous portions too. the bar wasn’t bad either. just the hard stuff. microbrews didn’t make the scene yet. whether i sat way in the back in the corner or at the bar watching the tellie, coming to dahlkes was an enjoyable occassion. good eats. good drinks. parking decades ago was affordable too. not many meterpersons then.
