Asian American Home Care

Recently, 2 chinese only speaking, medicare eligible family members used asian american home health PT, OT, RN, CNA, social worker (SW) services –2 months for one member and nearly a month for another member. I was the family contact so interacted frequently with all staff. Impressed by responsiveness of managers (via email & phone) and the observant staff who are also accessible via cell and text (for those who do).
Julie — Operations Manager. She arranged for a substitute PT to come in while Marilyn on vaca. She arranged for RN to draw fasting bloodwork. She tirelessly answered all my emails.
Angela-​SW– the superwoman of ALL social workers to date. Leagues ahead of hospital SW’s. She was able to sign my elderly family up for services i didnt know existed and made my life much easier. she texted back on weekends and evenings. gentle in her speech and works hard to ensure her elderly clients get what they need.
Marilyn-​PT– observant and quick to request DME and notify RNs of any observations, such as hypotension. highly organized. Asked M to work on certain things such as getting in/​out of cars, maneuvering up/​down a hill with a walker.
Jing RN — responsive and thorough. quick to contact primary care md when there is a question of meds or health issue and will also suggest ointments for wound care. Arranged for another RN to cover while on vaca.
Kitty OT– sweet demeanor, patient, yet proactive in ordering DME (durable medical equipment) from suppliers who deliver to home and will suggest other items needed for home safety or activities of daily living.
Highly recommend Asian American Home Care. Bi-​lingual staff exceeded my expectations.
