I’m not quite sure why this tcby has such bad reviews, but my recent experience and all of my past experiences have always been positive! The owner is very welcoming and sweet. Each time I go there she always thanks me for stopping in. Most importantly, the yogurt is good. There are normally 4 – 6 flavors. I think tcby has become a little outdated in comparison to all of the frozen yogurt spots that have opened in the last few years when it was trendy.

This is a no frills type of frozen yogurt place that has been around since the 90s. So don’t expect your typical fro-yo modern place, but you will find flavors like white chocolate mousse, pecan, peanut butter and golden vanilla. Toppings are basic too, but I like simple for my frozen yogurt so thats why this review is really based on personal preference. The owner is very nice and really appreciates her customers business. She took the Unilocal 10% off and we paid with a CC without a problem.

Great service. Super clean. I like that is quiet and they don’t have the music all loud. Variety of yogurt flavors.

The place needs to be totally renovated, maybe even condemned. To be fair, the frozen yogurt was excellent and the woman behind the counter was very helpful and friendly. It was all taken away however, by the depressing interior. It’s a shame because TCBY has great frozen yogurt. The owner was considerate enough to reach out and inform me that he would get the place straightened up. Unfortunately in my view, it needs much more than that. I wish him luck and I will be back with friends to give it a second shot!

Coming into TCBY, I was expecting a lot of fruity ice creams and such but there wasn’t much but the typical chocolate and vanilla mixes. I was looking for a fruity yogurt of some sort. After looking at the menu I found the«Beryio shakes» that are a great mix of fruit and other yogurt sweets. I got the Mango Tango, being a bit pricy at $ 5.60 for a small, it was still good. Be careful of what the cashier says, she will say«small or regular.» regular meaning the over priced large size and small being the $ 1 cheaper alternative. Anyways, good yogurt shakes and great for a few people.

Would be a one-star if it weren’t for the good Fro-Yo. The owner is seemingly struggling for business it looks like, and this does not surprise me. She does not accept the mobile Unilocal Check In Coupon because they are«not a participating location», when the coupon clearly states NUTLEY, NJ on it with the EXACT proper address. There are very sparse toppings as compared to other TCBY’s, and even worse, the owner does not even know what they are filled with! I ask if the chips are Carob or Chocolate, and she assured me they were chocolate. Well, they were Carob. What a surprise! Nice to overpay for a skimpy Shiver that did not even have the right toppings. I did not even bother to complain because had I did, I am sure I would get some sorry frugal excuse. It is a shame because TCBY does have good yogurt, but I cannot see it lasting much longer under this current ownership. I do not see this TCBY being a «participating location» for any sort of revenue once it closes down soon.

Staff is really nice! Have been going there since it opened and it is always great. May not have the club atmosphere but I don’t mind that!!!

Worst TCBY everrr. I felt like I had taken a trip with the ghost of frozen yogurt stores past. The place definitely needs a remodel. I only came here because I wanted dairy-free fro-yo, and this location was the only one that was open late on a Sunday and that didn’t require me to trek into Manhattan. BIGMISTAKE. The fro-yo machines are behind the counter, which felt so 1999 to me. Also, I was a little mad that I couldn’t control my toppings(of which there were very few) — the lady put WAY too many chocolate chips on my fro-yo. Worst ever — a little sign on the glass said they had toppings like fruit and mochi. Liars. I didn’t see anything of the sort. I am so spoiled by the fro-yo shops of the present — also there is so much competition that I don’t know how this place can get away with not stepping up its game. The TCBY location in Woodbridge Mall is at least 1,000 times better than this one. I will not be returning to this TCBY.

I love the vanilla yogurt but the store needs to be remodeled.

I hate this place but I’m there all the time with my Better half. WAIT! I’m the better half.(I go across the street to Applegate Farms). The owner/worker is a sharp as whiffle ball. I can’t deal with her anymore. I stay outside now to eliminate hi blood pressure. Besides, the yogurt isn’t that great. Toppings … Frugal is a polite way to put it. I was refused a second topping. And to top it off they don’t accept Entertainment Book coupons.

Worst. TCBY. Ever. «Cheap» doesn’t begin to describe this place and the owner. The walls are mostly bare and pale yellow. The atmosphere is completely cold and uninviting. The whole place reeks of penny-pinching — especially when it comes to service. Yogurt/toppings are minimal and the flavors seem a bit underdeveloped which tells me that they skimp on the syrups. The only reason I’ve gone here is because it’s in walking distance of my house. Forget it. I’d rather drive to the Clifton location. Entirely different experience — what TCBY(Now Bobo’s) should be!

They’re dumb. They don’t take coupons with their address on them. They’re not a «participating location.» Booo. I’ll just go to a participating TCBY instead.
