If one’s in a rush to catch a train but need some quick sustenance, this is an adequate option to go to. This place doesn’t serve the best bagel in the world and cream cheese provided is average but it isn’t bad. I got a sesame bagel and my boyfriend got an everything bagel, both with cream cheese. The bagels were nice and toasted and had the typical flavor. I think what could have been better was the cream cheese. Just wasn’t as tasty as other places. Again, it meets the needs when one is in a rush. I’ve gotten bagels here a couple of times when catching a train and have not been disappointed.

Worst hot chocolate I’ve ever had in my entire life! Taste like hot water with a drop of chocolate syrup! Couldn’t believe this bakery can operate for four generations so far! It won’t survive till five generations if it doesn’t do quality control! Damn! Waste my $ 3! I could have gone to Starbucks or something else!

Grabbed a tomato and mozzarella sandwich before my train. Happily opened it up onboard, only to find the bottom of the sandwich covered in mold. Gross. Will not be back.

Oh, how disappointing! Having stopped in after seeing all the beauties behind the window case, I settled on a slice of black out cake after a recommendation from the employee who suggested that if I love dark chocolate, I’d love the black out cake. The cake looked amazing, it wasn’t dry at all, but it had no taste. Upon taking a few bites, I could taste baking powder. :( Service was great though.

I had a bagel and a latte here and I think the bagel was actually quite good. But the latte being as pricy as it was it was half foam. When I order a large I would hope it’s not a small.

Zaro’s locates itself strategically near commuter hubs to capitalize on hungry, hurried people with low standards.

Just had their chocolate rugulach and their giant fig bar and they were both of very good quality and quite tasty. Conveniently located in the middle of Penn Station, right next to the Amtrak waiting area, this place is great to get a quick bite to eat while on the run. They also sell a lot of other baked goods and a variety of bagels. Definitely a must try!
