If you’re buying wine anywhere else, you’re buying it at the wrong place. They’re wonderful people with an amazing selection of wine, and they’re still batting a thousand with their recommendations. A genuine neighborhood gem.

Literally the only place in the east village that I could find cheap champagne for mimosas ($ 6.99 a bottle!). They were very kind and since I bought a lot, they offered to deliver it to my apartment as they have delivery services for the surrounding area. Good selection of wine and liquor otherwise and everything is displayed in an orderly fashion within their very organized store – not cramped at all. This may become my neighborhood go-​to for alcohol!

I’ve found one of my NYC wine shops! I just moved here from Berkeley and have been on the hunt for a great neighborhood shop — this is it.
Excellent selection across the board — grape — region — price point.

My new wine shop. Every time I come by to visit the boo, I stop by here to get a nice bottle. Most of the time, I can just say what I’m in the mood for and they give me some great suggestions. Awesome connoisseurs work here. We strike up the most interesting conversations too. I’m pretty sure I’ve embarrassed my self at some point. :)
You have your choice of pricey bottles, to your average $ 15 bottle. Don’t be fooled by the price, their table wines are pretty amazing.
Great customer service, nice atmosphere and great bottles in this shop.

Everyone wants to have a wine place where they «know a guy».
I always wonder what the hell is the difference between $ 4, $ 6.$ 10.$ 25 wine.
I usually ask a clerk and wonder if he selected his favorite choice, or what isn’t selling, and what he needs to move out.
I walked into Wineshop and wanted a suggestion, something that was really nice, special. for a special gift.
The salesperson gave me a couple of choices and gave me a little background on the wine, the small farm the grapes were grown on.& how hard it was to find it at a typical retail shop.
I took his advice and felt like I could trust their opinion, the guys working there are really casual and pleasant and seem to really know a lot about the products they sell
Nice looking display, it’s set up like a book store, the wines on the wall, in neat cubicles. and at night they have candles lit and I see wine tasting there a lot.
A nice, elegant neighborhood shop.

Love this spot! This is my go-​to wine store in the area.
— The couple who owns it is lovely and you can really tell they are invested in their new business. Aaron, who is there most, is especially customer friendly.
— They have a wonderful selection of wine, much of it at a very reasonable price point
— What I love most: no wine snobbery! I can come in and admit I have no idea what I am doing and they are so friendly pointing me in the direction of nice stuff

SO glad these guys opened. I do not like the awful liquor shop on the corner. I miss the Spanish Wine shop on 1st ave. This shop has a really good selection. Granted you won’t find Trader Joe prices but then again you are getting a better, well curated selection. The people who work there have been super friendly. No wine snobbery. Oh do try the sparkling white wine that is on the $ 15 under table. It is fantastic!

A neighborhood gem and my new favorite wine shop! Wonderful selection of thoughtfully curated wines, you can’t go wrong even with their affordable table wines. Which is good because at my current rate of a bottle a day (shared btw), I may drink my salary away.
Staff is very friendly and knowledgable, their recommendations were spot on and perfectly complimented the ragu I made. Yum.
