Good selection at reasonable prices — helpful and refreshingly unpretentious staff. Worth a visit for Village dwellers who don’t want to brave Trader Joe’s wine shop.

Great little wine store for locals — especially if you take the ACE or BDFM lines to work, since you can easily incorporate regular trips to the well in your daily commute, which, in this economy, I mean, let’s be honest, YOUDO. Selection isn’t incredibly impressive, but the place is clean, the wine well stored and they advertise lots of deals, frequently with in-store showcases of certain products.

I’ve been a customer here for over a decade, even through its move a few years ago. The owners are friendly and informed, yet they leave you alone and don’t pounce on you the second you enter. Love the dog and the family feel. They often have wine tastings which are a great way to find your way to new vineyards. VERYFRIENDLY!!! In a neighborhood where family businesses are dwindling, we need more places like this.

I found this place to be a little pretentious. Not once did someone ask if I needed help with anything, which, to me, made it feel like they didn’t even care if I was there. They set up a nice area that divides wines up by under $ 10 and under $ 20. I’d say overall, though, their wines are definitely over $ 10. Very elegant ambiance.

They’ve got a small shop here, always the same two gents sitting back behind the register. An okay selection for those people who live close to the area and don’t want to walk over to the bigger shops on 14th. My quirk with this store — there’s the big fuzzy black Jindo Korean dog here sometimes. I’m not sure that’s kosher, but then again you’re not eating here — just to warn people.
