I’ve just moved into the TriBeCa neighborhood. This store is in the most convenient location for me, and it provides timely deliveries, especially since I’m so close. I am pleased with the selection and cost. My needs go beyond just vodka and wine, and I’m happy with the relative cost and quality of the store’s selection. The staff is friendly and remembers me(for better or worse!), and I always receive quality customer service. You don’t necessarily want to be remembered as a liquor store customer, but they remember me and my preferences, and it is appreciated. I’m pleased with this establishment. I have shopped around in the area, and while others may offer the same selection, the product is more expensive(and the store is farther from me), so my view is that this store is fair and willing to ensure that I have a quality experience. I think the manager and owner strive to make a good customer experience, and I notice this whenever I walk in or call in for a delivery.

USINGVIVINOISNOTALLOWED The wine selection is quite wide and there is a wall of spirits. How ever my friend and i used vivino app to choose a wine and all of them were poorly rated users reviews and winery reviews alike. After scanning several wines I was told by staff to not take pictures in the shop My friend showed and explained the app but the staff member firmly objected. After explicitly asking if we can use the app and never getting a straight answer we just left.

The selection here is good. True for both wine and spirits. I go here when it’s in my path. Over time I have found that the shop really spends its time on phone/delivery business. As a customer in the shop, I hear the interaction of employees and feel like they are willing to help me as long as my business doesn’t interfere with their phone order. This seems backward to me but, to quote another, «Tell me how you’re paid and I’ll tell you how you behave» I have another little«customer service quip, in that, I was inquiring about a particular Icelandic spirit. I was able to convey my interest in the spirit to the point that they took my name, number and promised to call me with an answer to the question, «Are you able to get this?» After never receiving a call I gave it a second try and got the message that in spite of publicly stated good intentions, I was not going to get an answer.

This little hole in the wall wine and liquor store is in the exact right location for when I am heading to my grandma’s down the street. They don’t have the biggest selection of liquor but definitely big enough to fit my needs(generally wine or vodka). This small shop has never been crowded when I have stopped in which makes it easier for me to ask the owner(or manager?) questions.
