Three of us shared a shaved ice bowl. Really, really delicious! Could not possibly finish it all. Would love to go back!

I come here every summer to get the shaved ice and I love it, its topped with icecream and fruits and the portion is really big so I shared it with 3 people. The cake here tasted really good too. The buns they sell here look really fresh and I’ve seen a lot of people come in here to buy them

The place is large and clean. It’s Korean but trying to be French. They have Korean music and videos playing on a large screen. Good for a carb fix. Anyway, I went for plain decaf coffee and they charged me about $ 2.72 with the tax. The sign said $ 2 but not for anything, they upped it to $ 2.50 — apparently for a «Café Americano» instead of brewed. First of all, they should tell me they don’t have brewed decaf and ask me if I actually want a Café Americano(which is espresso with extra water). But no, they say nothing and just upcharge you and give you watery coffee. Thanks Seung. Regardless, $ 2.72 is not really cheap for a paper cup of(very watery) decaf coffee. I was the only person at the counter when I ordered and they still gave me a buzzer that started to flash when they handed me my coffee a minute later. Hysterical. They don’t say thank you or even tell you where to get milk/sugar. They basically take your order and say nothing. Crappy service. There was no visible sign for WiFi or passcode.

Authentic Korean Bakery — Paris Baguette but better — Central in Ktown — Awesome Pastries — Awesome space! Popped in here while wandering funemployed, thought I was legit in Seoul! Awesome pastries, tons of Korean patrons on a random morning, good coffee, cheap for NYC! $ 5 for a fresh pastry and coffee. They have 2 kinds of chairs, lined and unlined, the ceilings are tall as F, and the layout just makes you feel comfortable!

Great place to drop by for a Sunday evening pastry craving. I tried it for the first time this week, and a fellow Unilocaler recommended a few of her favorites: Sweet potato pastry — I was beyond full after dinner at Take31 and was only going to have a bite, but we all know how that usually ends. The sweet potato filling was delightful, and the crust was everything I wish the Smuckers Uncrustables could be. Hot milk tea — I could taste all the sugar I was injecting into my body, and I didn’t care. Great ratio of tea to milk(maybe a slip up on the sugar). I’m a fan of the sweet potato pastry.

Lots to offer at this location with a multitude of baked goods, cakes, hot and cold drinks. I got a tiramisu cup, which was unfortunately partially frozen still. The lady fingers portion of the cup was soaked a little too well as it was quite watery once I was able to reach the bottom. Cocoa powder on to top was a bit too much, it was a thick layer. Not sure if items are made in house, or if they were shipped…

This bakery is so cool! It’s like I’ve stepped into bakery heaven! There were fresh bread, doughnuts, buns, buns filled with new and wonderful things like red bean paste, milk(?!) and honey! On my first visit we picked up the milk lollies — coffee and mango. Both were refreshing and milky without being creamy. The second visit I was on a mission to pick up some buns, recommended by a Korean friend, that would survive a plane journey so that my family could enjoy them. I got the Soboro bread(kind of like a crispy top bun you get in Chinese bakeries), Soboro bread filled with red bean paste, the Honey bread, Snow pea bread, the Milk bread(creamy milky custard filled soft bun) and a pack of mini cheese balls. All the buns have been great. I also ordered a pre-packed box of 12 macarons from the counter as a special gift for my sister who loves them. When I got back to pack my suitcase, I opened the box and found that they only packed 10 macarons into the boxes but as I was rushing to the airport I couldn’t go back. So, please, check you boxes! [I will give it another star once their customer service team gets back to my enquiry(via Unilocal/Twitter/Facebook) regarding to my 2 missing macarons from the gift box that were stored BEHIND the counter! I don’t usually complain but I was so excited about them and was so upset about not being able to go back into the shop and I hear the US businesses are good at replying to their reviews.]

It’s ok place to come with your loved one or friends. It’s a huge place! This place didn’t look that big from the outside but once you’re in there, just keep walking to the back and you find tables so you can enjoy your dessert. We came here after dinner with our friends at Gaonnuri. They wanted to talk a walk around K-Town then we stopped at this place just to look around and enjoy a piece of dessert. Hubby got himself a slice of vanilla cake with some chocolate design on top. I said no to dessert because I can’t handle too much of a sweet taste but I tried a little piece and it’s ok.

Quality is lacking, items say they are natural — what does this mean? The ingredients tell another story — the almond brioche had artificial milk in it. Hot chocolate was warm and got cooler quickly. Items were not labeled correctly and my friend felt the blame was put on him when he asked to exchange one of the donuts/balls, which was labeled as sesame but had nothing in it. Mistakes are alright but the employee he approached put the blame on him, no bueno. Overall I would not recommend coming here. It’s all make believe!

Tous Les Jours is comparable to Paris Baguette, where they have a huge variety of pastries/desserts/cakes and drinks. For me, I find them to be interchangeable with another. This is a review for their drinks. Went here with a few friends for quick drinks. I ordered the Lemon Citron Tea, as well as my other two friends. My other friend had the latte. They all gave us buzzers and the buzzers will buzz when your order is ready. So, we went back to the seating area and sat down. However, two of my friends got their drinks instantaneously when they ordered and my other friend got her drink. I was confused– Where was my drink… My buzzer didn’t buzz. I was the first one to order out of them and it was the same drink as my other two friends. So, I went to the counter and asked. Guess what? It was sitting in the back where they made drinks. If they knew it was sitting there, why didn’t you buzz me? If the buzzer was broken, you could have yelled out the order number. But, I was left hanging. A person from behind the counter said sorry, but seriously?! I waited at least 15 minutes for a simple drink. The drink was good, but I was annoyed that I had to wait so long. Definitely not coming back if they can’t get a simple drink right. I think I would rather go to Paris Baguette from now on, as this would never happen.

I like that they have lots of different pastries & drinks like cakes, bread, teas, smoothies & a lot more. Visited this place with co Unilocaler Anna & her bestie. I got my cold lemon citron tea for drink & chocolate cake. Anna got the sweet potato cakes & her friend got the mocha cake. Actually I enjoyed my drink. It has this citrus & lemon flavor. The sweetness is perfect. For the cake we shared it. My chocolate cake & mocha taste okay, very ordinary. The sweet potato is impressive. It actually taste delicious! It has this level of sweetness that I want & you can taste & smell the sweet potato. It has a little sweet potato chunk too. I observed that they don’t put name tag on each cake so when you order you tell them what you want. Me & Anna’s friend is talking about it while on the line & this lady that works their approach us & ask which one we like. I guess she overheard our conversation. They have a big space with lots of tables & chairs. Their bathroom needs to improve. Place looks clean except the bathroom. I guess its clean before & never really maintain it.

The place is big and spacious, so plenty of seats, though no matter what hour it is, it always seems pretty busy. So you might run into the issue of seating. Also waiting in line for 10 – 15 minutes isn’t my idea of fun. Haven’t tried their pastries of cakes, but their mango bingsoo is on point! Can sit there at pretty much finish a whole one by myself. Delicious to say the least, definite must try!

When I used to live in Herald Towers, I used to come here quite often. I love Asian pastries!!! There’s ample seating at the back of this bakery, and I often came here with friends for a little big o’ dessert. I’m a big fan of their shaved ice :) Not so much the bubble tea.

The baked goods and desserts are top notch. I am a fan of the selection here. Everything I’ve gotten has tasted fresh and well-made. I love their sweet breads. My brother ordered a smoothie and he seemed to enjoy it. The flow is slightly tight so at peak hours, it could be hard to bypass other customers especially if the line to checkout gets long. There’s a large space in the back of the bakery that has plenty of seating for customers. The bakery/café has always been very clean when I’ve visited. I do admit the service is a bit lackluster but then again, I’ve found customer service to be in decline for years now everywhere.

I’ve tried the cakes from Tous Les Jours in Flushing/Bayside and was very pleased with the quality and prices, so I decided to give Tous Les Jours a shot in the city. The bakery is very organized and cozy just like the one I go to a lot in Bayside. The service is on point and the staff that helped me were very helpful and nice. Their cakes are usually $ 34.00 and under depending on how big and what type of cake you get. Green Tea Cake — I got this for my parent’s anniversary and plus my parents love green tea! Unfortunately, it didn’t really taste like green tea and the color of the actual cake was like really bright and abnormal green. My parents urged me to not get an abnormal colored cake again. Strawberry Cake — I got this cake to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday with his family. It was adorable and beautifully decorated. The cake was really moist and just your normal sponge cake with fruits in the center. Overall, I love Tous Les Jours and this is my birthday cake to-go spot now. There’s a lot more variety than Paris Baguette and you get a better quality cake too for almost the same price as Paris Baguette.

Packed on a Friday night, but I still wanted to browse and buy some pastries. Don’t worry, the line moved quickly! They have both sweet and savory treats(think kimchi croquettes), some being more typical croissants and the like, while others are filled with sweet pea and red bean and sweet potato fillings. Behind the glass are cakes and tarts, and also beautiful boxes of Japanese mochi. I enjoyed looking and we bought one sweet pea bun and one Japanese cheesecake, both of which were delicious and not overly sweet. The cheesecake is light and airy and only has the faintest taste of cheese.

My favorite thing about Korean bakery’s is they have presentable birthday cakes that you can get last minute. Jours les tours like Paris Baguette have varieties of cakes you can choose from. Everytime I come here once I start staring at the cakes there would be an employee that would ask if I needed help(majority of the time a cute Korean guy ^^), so service is definitely good. The cakes are usually very creamy and fresh. I come here more than Paris Baguettes for cakes nowadays. I also like their popsicle which is $ 1.50 each.

Everything looks delicious, and some actually are! I got to try one of the popsicles they had in a freezer in one corner and it was definitely refreshing. However, the mango shaved ice was a let down. There wasn’t much on it, and the mangos were definitely not ripe. The ice was … well… icy. Wish they had done it the true Taiwanese way with the snow, and more finely sliced ice. Oh well! Some of the other shaved ices looked better, and they have quite a pastry selection to choose from!

I’ve been coming here for the past 2 – 3 years whenever I’m in K-Town, and I’m always satisfied with my experience. They’re usually pretty busy so I always take my baked treats to go. Upon entering on the left side, they have pretty little wooden trays, paper tray liners and tongs for picking up your goodies. Some of the breads and pastries are wrapped in plastic so you can skip the tray altogether if you know what you’re getting. All of the pastries are clearly marked with it’s name, list of ingredients, and the price. On the side, there are display cases filled with cakes, macarons, and other dainty desserts. They also sell ice pops, bing soo(Korean shaved ice!), and bubble tea. Paying can sometimes take a few minutes but in this case patience is a virtue. With so many people coming in, the line fills up quickly. The desserts are absolutely beautiful, and they offer a large and unique selection of baked goods. The place is always hopping but it’s really not hard to see why.
