The Vitamin Shoppe

I have always liked the Vitamin Shoppe. Much less hype than GNC, no real attempt to gouge the customer (unlike GNC), and they have an excellent store brand for the generic things you might need like for Vitamin D or gingko biloba.
The main reason I am posting a review is more to complain about their nagging, asking «if I need help». I was shopping yesterday, and within a 10 minute time I had at least 7 questions whether I needed help. There were four employees or so in the store, so some of them definitely asked me more than once, and seemed to get annoyed when my «no“s got stronger. I knew what I wanted, and I wanted to shop in peace, not have someone snooping over my shoulder.
I know that they are trying to be helpful, and it must be management policy, but you would think after two or three no’s they’d say something like, «well, I’ll be here if you need more help later.» Instead, they just kept asking. LEAVE ME ALONE, I KNOW WHERE YOU ARE IF I NEED YOU.
So this store gets 4 stars instead of 5 because they will annoy you, thinking that they are helping you.

I like this store. Because it’s very clean, new products, good price & professional customer service. I used to buy products from GNC a lot. Now I start buying from this store. I got so happy other day, because I found my specific protein powders from this store & good discounted price. Also I bought probiotic a good one & good price. I was spending too much money for another stores. This store is the best until for now

I came here to get some protein powder and the girl working there was super helpful. I wish I had gotten her name but I didn’t. She told me which tasted good and had all the ingredients and nutrients I was looking for. She even recommend a few protein bars and they were delicious not very chalky.
The prices were pretty good and they had some specials going on.

The name says it all. Vitamin Shoppe. Plenty of vitamins with different purposes. All staff members were pretty helpful with suggestions of brands and recommended doses. But pretty average, most of thees places all run the same.

Not much to say except for having a nice friendly staff; very helpful and knowledgeable. Came here for one product which was on sale so overall is a good place to shop for those supplements!!!

Ok, the picture posted here is obvi not a real picture… looks like something from a mall near my old place in San Diego. This store is on a corner of 8^th Ave, a few blocks south of the park. The staff here can be hit or miss regarding knowledge of the products on the shelf, but the people there are always nice. Upon my last visit, I got very good service. I went in to restock my Twinlab vitamins, but also was looking switch up the protein powder I buy. The guy was very helpful and did not push the most expensive stuff, either. He showed me a couple of things and showed me the brand he used and gave me some advice on how to best incorporate the protein supplement into my diet. I would give this store more stars if all the people there were like this guy. Unfortunately, there are too many people working there that don’t exercise and are there because Bagel Stix or Hale and Hearty were not hiring and are just looking for work.
