NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts will be presenting the New York première of The Minstrel Show Revisited (Spectrum Dance Theater).
This show deals with current racial issues and highlights racism in American history. The Minstrel Show is a comment and statement about the black-​face shows and about the stereotypes that were made during this type of entertainment. Dance is used to address about our past and about our current state in racism.
