Awesome chicken francese, killer HUGE slices, must’ve been on the beginning of the delivery loop because pizza was hot and awesome. All around great delivery experience

This is my delivery pizza go to. They are consistent good pies, with good sides.

This is the best pizza place I’ve been to in the Heights. The thin crust is amazing and I recommend getting a white pizza and if you get a pie it’s only 5 dollars better than nasty little Caesars.

Downgrading this place; they changed their recipe a few months ago and it’s not close to as good. Also they started skimping on toppings & serving breaded chicken(even when you order non-breaded stuff via seamless). Yuck! No longer worth the premium price :(

Ordered a sicilian pizza. The first pizza I have ordered since moving up to my new neighborhood and it was horrible. I think they took 8 slices and put it a box. So disappointed. Ate a few slices because I was starving and then reheated a few pieces and took one bite and chucked the rest in the garbage. There is the saying that even bad pizza is still pretty good. Not in this case. Totally disappointed.

I had to start ordering from them once the one around the corner from me shut down. At first, I was very happy! I’m addicted to their spaghetti carbonara, mozzarella sticks, and chicken wings. It’s my… tipsy food of choice. They would include a complimentary salad and garlic knots with your order! Then they stopped with the salad. One time there were also no knots. And I always order an entrée and an app. One time they didn’t even close the carbonara container completely and my paper bag(which is inside of the plastic bag) was drenched, and half my sauce fell out. That was the same time my portion was cut in half from the regular amount. That only happened once… but they’ve definitely gone the route of smaller servings once the end of the night starts to come, rush jobs later in the night, and not giving the complimentary goods. I still order from them, as I really like the food, which is why I’m being gracious with a 3-star review. But, if I find another place in the ‘hood that can deliver the same goods with the customer care they used to provide, I will switch for good.

When you’re ordering pizza, it’s all pretty much the same. The pizza here’s cheezy and good but what sets this place apart is the service. My order came with 2 cans of soda missing. I just ignored it although I was annoyed. To my surprise, 15 minutes late, r the delivery person came back to deliver the 2 sodas and gave me two extra sodas as an apology. I never even called to tell them I was missing the sodas! Showed a real attention to detail and passion to make things right. I’ve never been so impressed by a restaurant. That was just plain nice. Next time I feel like decent, cheap pizza — this is the place for me.

So so pizza, not great service. Took 10 minutes to put thru a simple order, and the didn’t deliver everything! Would have been easier to just go out and pick up a pie on my own.

It took them 1.5 hours(no exaggeration) to deliver my order. That’s officially the f*cking longest delivery order in my practice. In these circumstances they could have given a discount or something — I worked in the hospitality industry, so when this happens, customers are usually not charged at all. They charged me the full price. To top it off, one of the items was missing! I called the«pizzeria» and a manager promised 50% off of my next order. Really?! What element of your stellar service makes you think I want to order here again? I. Want. My. Money. Back.

They were the only place willing to deliver to my apartment after 9pm on a weeknight, which I didn’t think was asking all that much, it was nice all the same. The pizza toppings were what I’d hoped for, fresh tomato and ricotta. The sauce was alright but the dough was extremely salty. At least the crust was pretty well cooked. Overall, I didn’t really enjoy it.

Totally mediocre tasteless pizza with nothing memorable about the crust or sauce or cheese. Obviously, it’s gone down in quality since these first reviews.

Thanks to K.T. for reviewing this place as her Unilocal review came in handy when I was in the area and craving a slice of pizza. That’s Amore is a tiny pizzeria on the jolliest street in New York(St. Nicholas) in an area(Washington Heights) where you’d expect to get your jollies from Latin food vs. pizza. I intended to just get one slice. After a quick heat-up, the slice looked promising. I took a bite and the crust was the first thing to stand out. Thin and crisp — it was as good of crust as I’ve had in a by-the-slice pizza place in NY. The cheese and tomato were really well-balanced — neither’s flavor jumped out unless you concentrated hard. It’s just so refreshing to taste a slice not suffering from overwrought generic cheese or overly sweet tomato sauce. The oregano I added served to improve(vs. mask) the flavor. A second slice only confirmed my hypothesis. I’m torn on giving it 4 or 5 stars but I’m going to go conservative with 4 stars. While I really appreciated the tomato/cheese balance, I feel like at least one’s gotta be stellar to give it a 5th star. To date, only DiFara(both) and Sal & Carmine’s(the cheese) has done it for me… If only a slice like this find its way to my home or work neighborhoods…

Love this place and love this pizza. Very thin, very crispy, and very fast delivery. Their large pies are quite large, and they’re generous with the toppings. They’ll deliver all the way up to Inwood and you can order through if you don’t feel like interacting with a person.
