I had the vegetarian meal for lunch and it was delicious and the portion was huge. I got Brussel sprouts as a side and they were seasoned perfectly. Ask for the green chimichuri sauce. It’s spicy and really flavorful.

Food was tasty and fresh. Hearty portions. Celeste, the GM, was super helpful. Surprised to see bad reviews for this place. I will definitely go back.

The food here is HORRIBLE. Flavorless rosemary potatoes. Flavorless soggy brussels sprouts. Flavorless saltless spinach & rice with no seasoning. The falafel is sooo dry. It literally absorbs all the water in your mouth and guess what? It’s also flavorless. Please don’t waste your money. There are way better eateries around. Staff is fantastic. Food is horrendous and ALWAYSFLAVORLESSANDSTONECOLD.

STIX is awesome!!! I love eating breakfast at this place! The pastries are all very good and they leave samples of all of their pastries right outside the door so you can try them before you buy whichever one you want. If you like Cheese Danish then this is the place for you. I have been down in the Financial District for 6 years and this is by far the best Cheese Danish you can find down here. I am literally eating one of their Cheese Danish’s as I am typing this review, that’s how much i like them at STIX. Not to mention everyone that works at STIX is super friendly and nice. I have never had a bad experience with anybody that works there, always a great way to start my day. Moral of the story, if you want a good breakfast spot for pastries/muffins/etc and a nice coffee to go with it then this is without a doubt your spot!

Great for takeout. The lamb and chicken kebabs are good quality, authentic and reasonably priced. The servers are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming.

My colleagues at work say, «Stix again?» And I wear that as a badge of honor. «Yep!» The food is quality. Quality Chicken, Lamb, Pork and Beef. Is it pricey??? No more so than anywhere else in the Financial District. Its totally in line with everywhere else in the area. They’ll let you go rogue on sandwich/sauce combinations, you can mix it up if you are clear and nice about it. And personally, I like their tzatziki… Is it traditional Greek? No… but it tastes great.

I’ve been going to this place since it opened. The food is pretty good. However, I will be voting with my feet/wallet and staying away after today. For lunch today, I ordered the meatball sandwich. I had it here once before and it came with like 8 meatballs. Today, the lady behind the counter gave me 3 meatballs on the sandwich, which costs $ 8.50. Stix sells the same 3 meatballs a la carte for $ 2.50! So if you think that a piece of pita bread and a few tomatoes are worth $ 6, this is the place for you. After a few minutes of arguing(so much for my peaceful lunch break), they gave me 2 extra meatballs, as well as an extra helping of rudeness. Lucky for me, there are so many other new options for lunch in the FiDi. I will be happy to give them my money instead.

Ok.ok.ok. Young lady giving out free samples on the corner of Broad and Stone and I happened to pick up the macaroni and cheese bites and fell in love. I decided to try this place for lunch and let me just give an honest(as always) review… I chose the meal plus option(2 stix, choice of one side, chopped greek salad, tzatziki, pita bread this was A LOTOFFOOD) so my meal consisted of the following: Lamb kefte mac and cheese bites brussel sprouts and of course the above mentioned add ons Sorry guys but this one is GOING to be detailed. IDEK why I ordered the lamb because we all know lamb is best when its fresh off the grill nice and hot until your tongue can’t take it anymore. It stated that it is topped with olive oil and oregano… olive oil definitely. oregano not so much. Although it wasn’t straight off the grill(it was actually a bit colder than I predicted) and lacked a little bit of seasoning I still enjoyed it because it wasn’t tough. The mac and cheese bites I topped with some chimmichurri sauce which I found absolutely delicious, but yet, still a little colder than I would have liked. The brussel sprouts were colder than my ankles in 30 degree weather and definitely not anything I would order again. On the bright side the salad with the feta cheese was very good refreshing actually I guess because it was nice and cold as it SHOULDBE. This place has a great concept… reminds me of DIGINN but Mediterranean style. A lot of options and different varieties of food. I asked the lady how long have they been opened and she replied 3.5 months. What? How girl how? I know how they’ve been open this amount of time and haven’t been heard of though… because they don’t know how to serve this food at an appropriate temperature for people to really enjoy the flavors. IDK if I could blame them… if business isn’t booming you can’t replenish your food, so it’ll stay out get cold and lose it’s texture probably. NOEXCUSETHOUGH… Keep on trying guys… keep on trying :-/

First time was Friday at STIX. Familiar with the one in the flat iron district I figured I would give it a try. Good food quick service.

There was a girl on the street giving out samples of chicken and shrimp. I did not take a sample(it is August and she is outside with samples of shrimp) but wanted to give this a try for lunch. Employees were really friendly. I ordered the shrimp and steak sticks with a side of brussel sprouts. I took it back to my office across the street. 3 – 4 minute tops until I sat and was ready to eat. First thing, the cashier made sure to tell me my utensils and napkins are in the bag. There were NONE. Within the few minutes it took to get to my office all the food was cold. Shrimp was rubbery, steak bland. No thank you.

While it’s always nice to have a new lunch option in this part of FiDi, STIX just doesn’t do it for me. The food tastes off, and their tzatziki sauce may be the worst i’ve ever had. Will not be returning.

Decent food a bit pricey for the amount. But everything is fresh. We had it delivered through Seamless. It was a bit slow but overall a decent meal. Very fresh ingredients.

I’m shocked to see all these one-star reviews for Stix. This place is really good! I’ve been to Stix a number of times and have sampled the Brussels sprouts, rosemary potatoes, Greek salad, spinach rice, felafel, quinoa balls, and mac n’ cheese balls. Everything has been very delicious. I like Meal Plus because it provides a lot of food for about $ 11. I get 6 balls, pita, one side, salad, and pita. They have regular or whole wheat pita. The tzatziki is tasty. They’ll give you hot sauce if you ask for it. Also, the staff members at Stix are very friendly. The folks behind the counter and the register are really nice and helpful. Two thumbs up for Stix!

Like other reviewers, I came in with high hopes and they were dashed. I am still reeling from this restaurant’s ability to make chicken and pork skewers taste bad… I take that back… I am still reeling from this restaurant’s ability to make chicken and pork skewers taste HORRIBLE. First visit, I had the chicken skewers and the best I can say is that they are edible. They didn’t make me sick. Second visit, I had the pork. The chicken was«better» than the pork… I say better, but I just mean the chicken was not as horrible as the pork. For the price(my lunch was FOURTEENDOLLARS today), I can definitely get better and will get better. No more picking up STIX for me

Came in with high hopes and left feeling disappointed. I ordered a meal which came with two ‘stix’(one lamb, one steak), israeli salad, one side(brussels sprout) pita(whole wheat) two small condiments(tzatziki, hot sauce) for $ 13(with tax). We came in a little early to avoid the lunch crowd, 11:45. So it was all pre-prepared and our orders were served fast. However that might have been a mistake because the meat was dry, tough, and flavorless. Better brussels sprouts can be had at Dig Inn around the corner. The pita was really bad. Seemed store bought and stale. The only thing I did enjoy was the israeli salad because it had capers. All in all this simply isn’t worth $ 13 and I won’t be returning.

I was excited when it opened but the food is cold and bland, poorly seasoned, small portions and way over priced for the tiny bit of bad food you actually get. Avoid!

Not Good. I like the concept and that they aim to be local, organic and sustainable… but the food is just NOT good. I just bought a falafel sandwich and it was so bad that I ate a few bites and threw the rest away. For a Mediterranean place, falafel is something that I feel should be a no brainer. Their falafel balls didn’t even resemble or taste anything like falafel, the whole wheat pita tasted awful, and the salad mix inside the sandwich had capers in it. I thought I may have found a new lunch spot but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

The chicken wasn’t properly cooked. It was still almost raw and pink on the inside. Disappointing cause I really wanted to like this place.
