I used to come to this place all the time about 3 years ago when I lived in the area. It was really clean, the customer service was great and the nail technicians were awesome! My nails were always on fleek! I decided to come get my nails done here this past weekend because my mom lives in the area. The place was clean. But when I walked in, no one asked me what I needed help with. The color selection wasn’t versatile. And my nail technician did a horrible job. If you are getting acrylic nails done — stay away!

The worst service ever!!! Went in Sunday afternoon it was super slow still had to wait a while to begin my pedicure. She did a horrible job it looks like my 2 year old daughter painted my nails and I got color gel. I had to tell the later serval times I wanted color get to begin with and she kept pointing to regular nail polish. The she tells me it’s $ 35 for color which I knew I can read and I came in with color gel. This was also aggravating. She didn’t even scrub my heel. Like wtf. Never again at this place I remembered why I never went back from the first time they opened. If you want a great job and outstanding service go to Kimberly’s nails 2 blocks down. I was so upset the closed early Sunday I would’ve never stepped foot in Sonia’s. They don’t ever deserve this 1 star.

Walked in with my brother to Sonia! Beautiful place, very big and nice. Didn’t smell like nail polish. $ 30 for mani pedi… Okay. Again, no one acknowledged us at the door. We stood there, and I timed how long someone would say anything to us!!! My time limit is 15 seconds, waited 2 minutes again and nothing. Walked out. Horrible service. Went to 184th and Broadway! They acknowledge me as soon as I walked in and they were busy! Sonia was slow! And still no greet !! It’s okay, they didn’t want our money. Horrible service.

I went to Sonia’s with one of my friends who is a regular, and I was very impressed by the cleanliness and service! It’s walking distance from where I work, which is perfect. I don’t usually get my nails done, but after the job they did on my hands and feet, all for only $ 25, I’ll definitely be returning. The women were so sweet and friendly, but they were also focused and efficient, doing a great job. I went at around 10 on a Friday morning, and they weren’t busy at all. They accept credit cards, which is great, and they also have a clean bathroom in the back. I highly suggest this place if you are in the area.

Clean location, walking distance from my job, wide array of colors, and the nail tech was friendly and patient as I changed my mind from hue to hue. She worked diligently on my manicure and was all about the details. The staff was courteous and friendly. The credit card machine was misbehaving when I was there, no worries I used the ATM machine two doors down. I am coming back here soon my old location in Brooklyn has been kicked to the curb.

Decent place. There are 2 on 181st closer to me and both closed on a Sunday? My mani and pedi came out nice and was only $ 25. I had marta and I would go back to her. They have a good selection of colors. Only issue was the credit card machine was broken but not a deal breaker.
