This is the only Chinese grocery that I would think of shopping at in the area. Their produce and other products are reliably fresh and they are open when other stores are closed because of disastrous weather conditions. They also have very late hours so its convenient when you need a late-​night snack.
This husband and wife team are incredibly hard-​working, and the husband is especially friendly and helpful to customers.
This is the store that builds huge snowmen outside every winter.

Chinatown, Manhattan, NY
I like to refer to this as my neighborhood Chinese Hipster bodega. They have a great selection of organic food and other things more commonly seen in whole foods. They have fresh juice, fruit smoothies and boba tea. Also run by a family with adorable kids. They build a giant snowman whenever there’s enough snow. They also stayed open during the hurricane blackout, really great people!

This shop is always open, and has everything you can imagine, with an incredible selection of healthy and organic stuff. how they pack it in such a small space. The owners are the sweetest people in the world.
