Rainbow Station

I have been here a few times to buy some good materials that they sell. This is a great gay adult establishment to do exactly that. They gay scene in Chelsea is lucky to have this place.
They have limited space to display their materials that they sell. They utilize this space well. They still manage to have a decent variety of good to sell that range from fun wear, underwear, shirts, sex materials, and videos. Every time I am in New York City, it is always fun to walk in here at least to see the variety of materials they have. I never fail to walk out of here without buying something.
The employees do a wonderful job at keeping everything clean and organized. I have never once had a problem with floors or shelves being obviously neglected. Everything is organized well. I have never had a problem with finding what I am looking for. Therefore, I have always felt comfortable walking in here.
With a couple exceptions, the employees are friendly and pleasant to approach. I have been able to carry a good conversation with some of them. Those conversational people also have a good sense of humor. The employees also are resourceful and appear knowledgeable of what they sell. I have always gotten my questions answered when I needed assistance. My only complaint about their customer service is that twice, I ran into a dishonest employee who was only looking for me to spend more money instead of leading me to what would work best for me.
Anytime I am in New York City and need some fun materials that they sell, I will continue going here. I feel like I can count on them to have what I need.

0 stars if possible. Very simply the prices for most items are triple what you would pay on Amazon.
I went in not knowing prices bought 2 vibrators $ 140. Got home and saw the same exact models for $ 50. I get stores have expenses and everything on Amazon may be a bit cheaper but THREE TIMES THE COST. Even then, I went back to the store and they wouldn’t even give me a credit. Said ALL SALES FINAL. Stay away.
Give me a break. I showed your customer service person the packaging. I never opened the product. I never even took it out of the the bag. I can show you today the product on Amazon. If I verify/​prove to you the same product is ¹⁄₃ the price would you then give me a refund. My # is 917−747−2040. And I still haven’t touched the product. Still in original packaging unopened. Mr. Ethical owner… Call me and I’ll send you a link. You don’t have to look hard. I found it in 2 minutes.

Rainbow Station has a huge selection of men’s underwear, toys, lube and aromas. The lube selection was impressive, lots of brands and sizes. They also have a video arcade in the back, I don’t know if it’s rooms or theaters. Prices are just average for a physical store.
The first level is packed with toys, lube, and underwear. It’s quite packed and it is like a warehouse. Lower level has a few bachelorette party, pride items and some leather harnesses, it looks like a storage room but it’s less cramped.
The staff isn’t gay and have to man the register and video entry, but they were friendly if not enthusiastic. It’s not the gay sex store I expected, more like a hardware store with adult items.

Its a Sex shop and its «Rainbow».They have huge collection of different type of dildos and vivid underwear for guys. Also they carry decent collection of lingerie and shoes for girls as well.
My co-​workers were out for a night on the town, drinking and boozin it up. I’m not much of the drinking kind. And I wanted to see the ‘sexier’ side of New york.
So I’m looking around shops in Chelsea NY. Rainbow station has much bigger collection of sex toys, lubrication, lingerie and male underwear compare to the other stores in neighborhood. This is a fairly old sex shop according to the salesperson.

I came in here just wondering what the store was about and what kind of selection they had in terms of gay or straight stuff. This is one of the other large gay adult stores in Chelsea (I’d say their stock is 95% gay). This place feels more empty, lacking in selection compared to the Blue Store across the way but some may like the the fact that they have a much smaller staff especially when it comes to the back arcade used for movie watching or other questionable activities. The prices weren’t any different then the Blue Store so I’m not quite sure why one would come here over there but it’s still a decent place for what it is.

Our group of 7 enter the shop, two gay friends and the rest women from St. Louis and San Francisco. Our St. Louis friends were thoroughly intrigued with the contents of the store, dildos, thongs, toys, lube…
I must tell you, even I was impressed by the selection of lubricants. Shelves upon shelves of oil and waterbased concoctions. Even one called, «Butt Butter». I turned to my gay friends, they acted surprised… hmmmmmmm.
The salesperson was friendly and quite enjoyed our antics, the store is well lit and not sleazy feeling. So a fun excursion for all.

i have never actually been inside this store, yet i find myself greatly fascinated by it– because i have never seen anything like it– its good to hear however that nyc is not terribly conservative –well not in chelsea
um so rainbow station wow i have never seen anything like it…
