I should have listened to some of the other reviews. They try to charge you extra for everything. Want more honey mustard for your sandwich 50 cents. Really? I already paid 15 dollars for sandwich soda and chips but they still want to squeeze a few bucks out of you. No wonder most of the Quiznos in NYC have disappeared. It’s sad, I used to really like Quiznos but I will not visit another franchise.

Came here 15 minutes before closing in hopes for a sandwich after the Ratatat concert ended across the street(visited on Jan 14, 2016). The woman working the register was nice enough to let us order(she’s the only reason this review isn’t a 1 star). However, the man in the back cleaning up had the worst attitude possible. «I just want to go home. I’m not staying here past 11.» And proceeded to REFUSE to help START a sandwich when the woman asked for some help as she continued taking orders and ringing people up. Throughout the next 10 minutes, probably 8 people tried coming in. At first only«deli classics orders only», and eventually it was«sorry — we’re closed». The door was locked about 8 minutes before closing. During this, the man talked in my general direction(sitting and eating with 2 other friends) and rambled a bit about«I told her not to let you sit and eat. We’re closing. I want to leave» etc etc. VERY strange behavior from an employee to a customer(NOTE: We did leave a minute before closing!). He also engaged in a screaming match with the woman(arguing once again about it being closing time/wanting to leave/unwillingness to help make sandwiches) and it was just plain AWKWARD for the 5 people left in store(customers exchanged looks of discomfort with one another). Unprofessional and unpleasant.

2 hour delivery time and didn’t follow my instructions. Customer blaming and poor service. Really bad. No wonder Quiznos is going out of business

Ordering the Apple Harvest Chicken«Salad» was a mistake. This visit was a disappointing reminder about how«salads» from quick-service sandwich chains are basically sandwich ingredients, without the bread, mixed in with shredded iceberg lettuce. The Apple Harvest Chicken Salad was a pre-mixed, mayonnaise-based, nondescript glop out of a box that didn’t have much apple, harvest, or chicken. In retrospect, I could have gotten more for my money by just ordering the sandwich version. Moral of the story – sandwich franchises like Quiznos and Subway are really only good at making one type of product: sandwiches. Six to eight tables and individual stools along the windowed storefront provide seating.

Black Angus steak for $ 7.99+tax. A lot of tasty ingredients inside like cheddar, mushroom, and onions. I would order this again. The 8 inch sandwich is not very large. It has a smaller width compared to a sub at Subways. There are a lot of moveable tables here so large groups should fit fine.

One of the few Quiznos locations in the city. It’s close to Penn Station but not immediately inside, though it’s quality is only a small step up from the train station eateries I’m sorry to say. It just always has a vibe that’s a little bit forgotten or sad about it, despite being next to an often busy AMC movie theater. Usually something out of order here, whether it’s the restroom or the drink machine or something else entirely. But if you’re feeling like a Quiznos fix, it fits the bill.

The service was respectable. I ordered a Steak sandwich with Bacon and Cheese. I swear it was the most lackluster sandwich I ever had. I was on the run, when I finally sat and ate my sandwich it didnt even have bacon. That was the smallest amount of beef I had ever seen in a sandwich. For $ 11 and change I was appalled that I basically got 8″ bread with mayo, a bag of chips and a soda. I know it’s NYC. But come on. Not spending my money here again.

Ordered once through . Delivery time was 1 hour and 45 minutes for a simple soup-and-sandwich combo, and they sent me entirely the wrong sandwich, no spoon for the soup, and the sandwich was very soggy. I was too hungry at this point to bother with asking for a replacement.

Typical Quiznos. Not great, but not bad either. I had the Peppercorn Steak sub and it wasn’t bad. Wish it had more steak. And I thought I missed the peppercorn sauce until I realized it was all on one side of the sandwich.

My first time here I ordered a chicken sandwich with pesto and that was OK. It is hard to ruin pesto and chicken. Then a week or two later I was craving pasta and they had flyers of their pasta, which looked appetizing. I ordered a Mac and cheese. It was disgusting. It barely had any sauce. So much so that the pasta looked white. It was so flavorless. Definitely far from the advertisements. The worst was the wait time… Slow staff Not coming back to Quiznos.

I was really hoping to just check in as I’ve been to Quiznos(Long Island locations) plenty of times and the experience has never really been out of the ordinary. In any case, I walk into this Quiznos location and the young lady is rushing to take my order. I inform her that I want the honey bourbon chicken, she quickly rings me up and now the wait game. Something told me to look at my receipt and when I did I see that she rung me up for some honey bacon business. I obviously did not order that. I couldn’t get her attention because she was on the phone taking phone orders and the gentleman I was able to talk to acted like he couldn’t simply tell the sandwich maker in the back to change the order(all of the sandwiches are priced the same so that shouldn’t have been an issue). The sandwich order was corrected before it got to me and it was typical Quiznos(meaning much better than the other sandwich guys). I get that you’re located at w 34th st and it gets busy. But good Lord, get people’s orders right. That alone makes me very weary of coming to this location. Thus the reason for the two stars and not the franchise.

The staff is un-welcoming, and the food was terrible. I ordered the lobster sub and it was mediocre to put it nicely. Quiznos has lost me FOREVER! Don’t bother.

Not sure about all the bad reviews this place gets. Let me start by saying that compared to Subway there is NO competition here. Quiznos tastes so much better! It all seems like they’re food is just fresher but can’t say for sure. Would be 5 stars but the service here is a little weak.

Lobster sandwich, the special for a limited time, is made of what tastes like imitation lobster(not real lobster which makes sense because it wouldn’t be cost effective to sell a sandwich for $ 8 with real lobster) and chopped iceburg lettuce. I was expecting a selection of vegetables, but the lobster sandwich was made to order. Nothing too spectacular. Instead mundane and original. Note the bathroom door lock was broken. Taking #2 is not advised. At least the tables were clean and ample space available during dinner time. In fact I was the only customer. I would come back if I got sick of Subway.

I hadn’t had Quiznos in eons because the vast majority in Connecticut have closed, and I refuse to drive 30 miles out of the way for their food. However, the other day I was walking by and stopped in because just a few days before I had caught myself saying«damn I could go for a Turkey, Bacon, Guacamole right about now.» This Quiznos annoyed me because they didn’t have the normal assembly line like any other one I’ve been to, and they didn’t inquire as to what I wanted on my sandwich re: veggies(Once upon a time when I was sixteen, I worked at a Quiznos so I know how it’s supposed to work). I’m sure in the intervening time between my last visit to Quiznos and this one my palate has become more sophisticated, but compared to how it used to be, the sandwich sucked. Now I know why they’re all going belly up, which is a shame because once upon a time I liked them better than Subway.

I dropped into this Quiznos during a lunch break while attending a session at Manhattan Center across the street. Of the options lined up on this block for a quick bite, this one caught my eye as Quiznos has been a tad harder to find around Manhattan compared to several years ago. The interior is fairly standard for the area. There is some seating, high ceilings and you walk right up to a cash register/ordering area with the kitchen in the back. Off to the side is the«fixings bar» with peppers(standard in every Quiznos I’ve ever been in). It’s nothing particularly beautiful, but it’s serviceable. I ordered a small sized chicken wrap and a soda. The wrap was tasty, but I had wished it was warmed up more. It was lukewarm and not the hot, toasty sandwich I had hoped for. Also, the bread wasn’t very good at holding in everything, so the lettuce and chicken pieces kept falling out as I was eating the wrap. Not fun and quite messy. The service was good and I was in and out rather fast. My main problem is that the wrap could have been a lot better.

I have ALWAYS liked Quiznos better compared to other sandwich spots(namely Subway’s) because the cold cuts have always tasted more fresh and the way they toast their sandwiches is used via oven rather than microwave. What I DON“T like about Quiznos is that they can be a bit on the pricey side but if you want quality I guess you have to pay more. Mesquite Chicken sandwich, Chicken Carb and Rib Steak Sandwich are my favs… might have to see what other new ones they have since there are not many Quiznos locations in NYC.

This Quiznos is usually mine and my boyfriend’s go-to-spot before watching a movie next door. Customer service is good. The cost of the food here isn’t bad. Their sandwiches are decent — not the best, but definitely a step up from Subway’s. Free refills from the soft drink fountain. It’s fairly clean here.

It’s a chain franchise restaurant. And unfortunately, the owner at this location has a thing or two to learn.(I once saw a manager? get gruff with the cashier for no reason right in front of me. awkward much.) But, I’d give Quiznos an overall 5 stars for offering a great alternative to places like Subway. There is plenty of seating and the cashier is always quick. However the sandwiches do take time to come out. I’m hoping it’s because they’re making it from scratch and it needs time to go through that toasty machine. If that’s not the case, owner needs to stop being cheap and hire some more people. Upkeep of this spot is pretty good because I always see workers cleaning off the tables. The prices don’t bother me much because working in Manhattan has conditioned me to accept them, however I do feel like you get your moneys worth. The subs are big and filled with lots of yum.
