The food here is great. You cannot knock the food here. The service on the other hand is terrible! They have gotten my order wrong more than they have gotten it right. The manager is helpful, but it is annoying to escalate it to the manager every time. If they can get it together, this place would be a go-to in FIDI.

Despite the fact that my husband wanted ANOTHER slice of pizza, I talked him into something a little more healthy when we passed Potbelly. I know it’s a chain, but we had never experienced it. We were pleasantly surprised. I ordered a turkey sandwich, him a ham. They toast their sandwiches, which is definitely a plus for me. The staff was mostly friendly, the manager was really nice. When she heard it was our first time, she gave us a free cookie. And not just any cookie, a brookie. Is there anything better than a brownie/cookie?! Our sandwiches were really good. If you’ve ever had Which Wich, it’s very similar. I could have eaten the larger size(just ordered a regular), because it wasn’t as big as some. Guess it’s better to eat less. ;)

I like chopt at 1 nyp but the salads are expensive. The salads are are $ 12 which gets really expensive when I eat there every day. So one day I came into potbelly and tried the uptown salad. To my surprise I liked it and the price help me like it. It was around $ 8 which included chicken.

Ugh, just left. Ordered a multigrain, thin cut, tuna with no cheese. and guess what. I got a regular, multigrain tuna with cheese. Their food is good, but they have to get their process together. It is a madhouse and with an employee taking your order before getting to the counter, it shouldn’t be this bad.

All this time, I have been avoiding this place. A fool I was until Today. The bread so fresh, and perfectly toasted; the meat, which contained salami and roast beef, a little mayo and lettuce, blew my palate away. As a former New Orleans resident, when I saw that they were selling ZAPP’S, I couldn’t contain myself. It just took my sandwich two more notches to the top. I’ll be back to fill my Potbelly :-P

When did Quizno’s change the name to Potbelly? That’s basically what it except that the prices are higher and the food isn’t as good.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I thought I’d give this place another try. Never again. I ordered two sandwiches on Seamless to be delivered 4 blocks away. After waiting 90MINUTES!!! for my delivery I had to actually walk over and pick it up myself. If I knew I’d be waiting that long I’d have done this to begin with. There wasn’t a single customer in the store when I arrived around 7:30pm. I guess other people are realizing this place sucks too. The girl at the counter apologized that there was only 1 delivery person working. WTF! Hire more people! Maybe it’s just this location — but the management is clearly incompetent. I hope they go out of business. I’m tempted to short their stock. Seriously, sell PBPB.

This place is clean. Friendly staff but the hours are very limited. They close at 8! Their oreos milk shake is a must try if your not lactose and tolerant.

I love Pot Belly sandwiches. The bread is always fresh and taste more like a soft baguette. Their mixture of toppings makes for a delicious sandwich. The Wreck and their Turkey sandwiches are the best. The potato cheese soup is pretty tasty as well. Great place for a quick sandwich.

Yummy! One of the healthier lunch spots in FIDI! Must have their tasty tuna sandwich! Super filling and affordable! Don’t forget to treat yourself to their sugar cookies($ 1.40).

Go for their Italian sandwich — it’s dependable. There’s usually a line, but it moves quickly. It’s one of the smaller Potbelly’s that I’ve been to. Credit accepted. In general, the quality of Potbelly always seems to be above Subway, and their prices also match accordingly. I like both chains, and luckily I rarely have soul-crushing experiences with them.

Efficient lunch spot with ordering via a server(???) avec iPad. Sandwiches are made to order per your selections. Sandwiches are hot & tasty, especially with hot peppers added. Value is typical for any lunch spot in Manhattan. Staff is friendly and efficient. Food is OK. Average sandwich chain with average prices /value.

Decent sandwich place. The lineman seem long but moves fast. You do have to order 3 times. Once in the line to someone typing them into iPad, then confirm with the person who makes it and then when you pay.

With the many food choices(esp. sandwich shops) in the lower Financial/Battery Park area, it’s hard to be a standout place to go for lunch. The sandwiches at Pot Belly are very good and freshly prepared. Pot Belly shouldn’t be compared with Subway or Blimpie because you can actually taste the meat in a Pot Belly sandwich.

Met a friend here for lunch yesterday. The staff came around to take my order while I was waiting on line. I ordered the Roast beef sandwich. When I got to the counter, the staff had my Roast beef sandwich ready for toppings to be added. I topped it with lettuce, onions and mustard. I also ordered the frozen raspberry lemonade which took a while to make. The staff was super friendly. The sandwich was only okay but the frozen raspberry lemonade was really good. Nice and thick and not too sweet. The little cookie they put around the straw was super cute.

Overall very good. I got the Wrecker sandwich and it was very tasty. Their milkshakes are also very good. They actually use a blender to make them — they aren’t like most fast food places in that regard. From a cost point of view I think the place is really inexpensive for NYC.

QSR in FiDi. Tried the Mediterranean sandwich: Hummus, red bell peppers, artichoke hearts, feta, lettuce, tomato, onion. A soggy mess even though the bread was toasted. Sounded so good. Super busy but the line moves quickly even during peak lunch hours. I got in line and noticed they had an 8 minute maximum wait time sign posted and to test this I checked in on Unilocal.Sure enough I was out in less than 8 minutes. If you have limited time and want a sandwich Potbelly is ok, but there are definitely better sandwich options around if you have time between your M&A deals in FiDi.

Been a regular at Potbelly for about a year now since working in the Financial District and have never been disappointed. The vegetarian sandwich is my favorite and everything is fresh and tasty! It can get very crowded during lunch time as expected but the line usually goes quickly. Customer service is fast and friendly. Subway and Blimpie near by are fine for sandwiches too but Potbelly is worth the extra time you may have to wait.

Decent food choice in the area. This location seems a bit small but if you go later during the lunch hours, it’s not too bad. They have an employee greet you while you’re on time to take your order on a touch screen so when you reach the counter, your order has already been toasted and you just have to tell them what condiments you want. It’s a bit pricey and this location does not offer fountain drinks so you’re stuck paying for a bottle of soda. The service moves fast but could be a bit faster. Overall, the sandwiches are good but could be a lot cheaper.
