Food was great but our order was wrong. We placed our order online for pick-up. When we got there, they said they never received our order(they were having issues with their on-line system) & we should email the order & they’d deliver it to our hotel. We emailed it, they delivered it… the order was wrong, items were left off but the food was awesome. About a half-hour after they delivered the order someone called ranting that we needed to come pick up our order. Moral of the story… go there & order take-out I don’t think you’ll be disappointed

The food and service was acceptable, but I waited a long time at each stage: the falafel, soup and then finally checking out. The menu was not up-to-date, so I was surprised to find that my special combo was not $ 7 but not even a combo and at $ 10. The guy who made my falafel said I should just pay $ 7, but the cashier was like no, let me check with my manager. She apologized, but only because she had a long order call while I was waiting to check out. I might go back for the chicken that was championed by the guy but I wish they would get things in order. The sign was also set to closed.

This place is insanely good. I mean, they are a bunch of rude pricks and that just adds to it. They are really, really good. I get the shwarama from them. It is tender. It is flavorful. It has the perfect amount of grease to pita to salad. Their spicy tomato salad is just what it says. So many times I go into a place and order the spicy so and so and it is bland… I don’t know why. Maybe old people like ordering something called spicy so they feel young, but don’t want to to actually be spicy because they are old AF. I can’t say. But if you order something spicy here you best believe it will be exactly what you want. The meat is always perfect. Veggies are always flavorful and fresh. I can’t speak to anything other than their Shwarma. This is saying something because usually I will order a bunch of different things before deciding if I like a place or not, but the Shwarma is so good that I can’t bring myself to ordering anything else. Also, as far as shwarma /pita places go this place is the cleanest one I have ever seen and, I am guessing, the cleanest one that has ever existed. I mean, I thought being totally filthy was just part of what it meant to be slinging rotating meat and falafel, but apparently it is not only possible to do this in a clean environment, but the results are amazing. Go to this place, order a shwarma and have some deliciousness. Like really, really delicious. As a side note, in case this kind of stuff matters to you… they are kosher. Not kosher style, not kind of kosher, they have a sink near the tables and a framed picture of the Lubavitcher Rebbe on the wall kind of kosher.

The food actually isn’t that bad. Management(especially the manager with the shaved head) seems a little gimicky and manipulative. For delivery of some items, their food online is portrayed differently than what they actually send you. In store, they advertise a side salad with a falafel sandwich, but refused to give it to me when I requested it. I don’t mind paying a little extra. It’s just disconcerting to argue with the manager for something that is clearly advertised and quite frankly feels a little manipulative to get customers in the door. I hope you guys have a different experience than mine!

I was staying at the hotel around the corner. I like Middle Eastern food, so I thought I would try it. I walked in. Three guys behind the counter all talking to each other, trying to address a call-in order. They looked like they were homeless. They also looked like I wouldn’t want to mess with them. Like cooking might not be their forte. The service counter is a food bar they use to prep meals(I guess). I looked at the quality of the food, their hygiene, waited a minute for them to notice me(I was the only one in there), and they didn’t. I mean they had no idea I was there. I walked out with the sense that it would be like ordering dinner at Jiffy Lube.

When I first discovered this place and came here, I was pleasantly surprised. The falafel was delicious, the salads were fresh, and the price was unbeatable. But since then, I’ve eaten here twice in the past few months and both were extremely disappointing. Perhaps they’ve changed management because their quality made a complete 180. The first time — I picked up a chicken soup and sandwich to go, and was really anticipating the soup because I was sick. I arrived home only to find out that the $ 6 soup was sour and spoiled! It was disgusting and went straight to the garbage. I can’t believe they would serve spoiled soup. Are they trying to make someone sick? I didn’t call to let them know because I had lost my voice(re:sick). Last week, I decided to give them another shot. After all, the falafel was great when I first tried it and the price was even better. It’s right in the neighborhood and I wanted to support an Israeli, kosher place. I ordered a falafel sandwich and shawarma laffa for my brother via Seamless. So disappointing, once again. The food was cold, the falafel sandwich had no hummus inside and the falafel balls were totally burnt. The shawarma came in a pita instead with no advanced warning, and while we both ordered French fries as a side, we both received rice instead. When I called, the man who picked up said they ran out of all of the above and made it seem completely natural that he replaced everything with no notice. He just said he would apply $ 2 back to my card for the difference in the laffa and would«make a note to give me something extra next time.» No thanks. Not coming back. I don’t think this place will stay in business for long if they don’t get their act together. AVOID.

I give this rating for a few reasons. I was looking fwd. to Mediterranean food and we all know the feeling when we don’t get what we want. I asked for a swhafel half shawarma half falafel. They told me they could do it but they have to charge extra I said sure no problem They asked what do I want on it I said lettuce tomato onions they asked if I wanted tzazikis and humus I said yes I also ask for a falafel sandwich as well and they ask me the same question twice what do I want in it so I asked for the same. I ordered a soup it came cold I got the sandwich with no lettuce tomato onions. I asked if I can get French fries I was willing to pay for it he said he would throw it in. I didn’t get the fries. Unfortunately I didn’t get the experience I craved for. When I called they gave me a poor excuse why I didn’t get what I wanted. I won’t order from here again sorry 2 stars for quickness though

Just avoid this restaurant! I don’t leave many Unilocal reviews, but I cannot let this place stand. Perhaps they used to make good food or perhaps there are nights with employees who do a good job, but that was NOT the case for me. I was shorted my side on the kofta plate I ordered(only realized this after I looked at their website). I’d have let that go but the meat was not properly cooked. About half of it was RAW in the middle and made me literally sick. The hotel I’m using for the next several weeks is right around the corner, but I WILLNOT be making a return trip to this place regardless of how convenient it is. I’d recommend you do the same unless you want to risk food poisoning.

0 stars. To start with, the employee dropped the knife on the floor and he was intending to prepare my meal without washing it. I made him washing it and he show me his unfriendly face. The service was very slow, I had to wait about 20 min wait for a take away place. I’ve ordered a chicken grilled pita that was heavily spiced and gave me heartburn for the rest of the day. The prices on the website are not correct. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I had a very offensive chicken shawarma baguette with a side of bad attitude from the staff. Everything about the sandwich was stale, cold and sloppy — the shawarma consisted mainly of massive globules of fat and skin. The service was disorganised and it seemed they could not care any less to what we had ordered and what they wanted to give us. Never again, especially at $ 11+ a pop!

I ordered a shawarma sandwich through Seamless. I was excited the delivery was so quick. Then things got nasty. Upon opening the bag, the hummus that was supposed to be included in the order was left out. At that point, I didn’t care to make a big deal. Then I opened the«shawarma» sandwhich only to find, dry, burnt bits of chicken. Almost like the dried ends of what was on the grill after cleaning it. Typically shawarma is LAMB. In this case it was inedible chicken bits. If they were going to send chicken, they need to specify that on the menu. The man on the phone was so rude. I asked them to come back and pick up the order and I that I needed a refund. He said I would have to call Seamless. His tone was so nasty and wasn’t even apologetic about the incomplete order(which wasn’t even the main issue.) Seamless tried to get me a refund, but the man wouldn’t allow it. AVOIDTHISPLACEATALLCOSTS. If you want shawarma, keep looking. If you want chicken bits off the grill left over from cleaning, tossed in pita, and missing side dishes. THISISYOURPLACE. :) I should have just lit 14 dollars on fire and stay hungry. That would have been more satisfying. Bön Appetite and good luck!

I don’t write reviews normally but this time I felt obligated to. We ordered three shawarma sandwiches and a falafel from this place. The cost was nearly $ 70 and the delivery guy showed up after 45 minutes. As far as the food taste I don’t know if I can find the words to describe how terribly disgusting it was. The bread was hard and impossible to chew, and chicken was cold, tasteless and dry. We were hungry and very disappointed so we called to complain. I asked to speak to the manager and I was transferred to this rude and hostile guy. I explained him what happened and he said«yes we have a new chef!» No «Sorry». No «We will deliver you new food» he simply didn’t care about anything I had to say, and when I asked for some kind of compensation he had the audacity to raise his voice and yell at me. Probably the worst food and customer service experience I ever had. 0STARZZZZ!!!

Grabbed lunch here with a few friends. Good food and friendly service. Especially liked the Shawarma in Pita. I highly recommend.

Most tasty were the falafels — green inside from the nice herbs and crunchy outside without any oil. Chicken shawarma was moist with good flavor, the carrot salad was tasty — strong in garlic!, and the hummus good. Service was friendly and fast.

Wow! Pure heaven! I ordered delivery on Unilocal and they came in less than a half hour, which has never happened in all my Unilocal ordering experience. I ordered a schwarma pita with red cabbage and meat cigars. Every bite is so friggin good! I’m a picky eater and it can proudly say that this was completely satisfying. I will probably crave their food from now on

Seriously overpriced unless you get the recession special. It’s a smaller version of the full priced menu items but enough to satisfy. The falafel is tasty and crispy, the shwarma is savory. Recession special falafel sandwich is $ 4 and the shwarma is a few bucks more. You get to choose 2 of the items from the salad bar to put inside the falafel(hummus, tahini, hot sauce included in addition to 2 salads). You’ll pay upwards of $ 17 for a falafel or shwarma platter. stick with the recession special, you can’t go wrong ;)

Nice cozy spot. Salads are very fresh and delicious. Split the falafel platter and it included salads. Paided $ 17. Bit pricey I think, but it did taste very good. Overall, friendly place, quick service and good food.

Ordered from here off of seamless yesterday and it was damn good. My only annoyance was I ordered a chicken kebab and got beef instead.(sup wit dat?) Kebab — was very moist, flavors were decent. Hope I get the chicken next time… Spicy fries — not even remotely spicy, however comes with a really good spicy sauce Red cabbage — good Potato salad — really yum Israeli salad — eh, boring Pita bread — fresh, fluffy, yum Tasty place.

Small place specializing in falafel and shawarma. I tried the chicken shawarma platter which came with a pita and three choices of salad. They have a steam table at the counter where they scoop out your choices for you. I chose the eggplant salad, potato salad, and hummus. All three of them were not bad and tasted quite fresh. The chicken shawarma though was very dry, so i wouldn’t get it again. They do give you a very generous of meat though. Next time, I may come back to see how the falafel is.
