The best bagels and cream cheese. Order everything, coffee too from the same person. We come everytime we’re in NYC.

Make sure you have exact change when paying. I gave a $ 20 for a $ 4 dollar bagel never expecting any problem but I only got back $ 6 in change. When I told the cashier I had given her a $ 20 she said it was only a 10. I repeated I gave you a 20. She called the boss who said he’ll look at the tape. He showed me the tape however you couldn’t see the denomination. Somebody had just paid right before me probably with the $ 10 bill the cashier conveniently had on top of the register. The cashier had another employee look in the drawer & guess what no 20 dollar bill. I wonder what happened to my$ 20?

Solid bagels in Gramercy. Every kind of cream cheese and bagel imaginable. They’ll do BECs — on a croissant, bagel, roll you name it. 14 bagels to the baker’s dozen is a nice treat. And the bagels are massive! This is one of a few bagel places in my weekend morning rotation in Gramercy, and I would have to say it’s one of the better options. Definitely come for the variety and efficiency — a good place to go when you can’t make up your mind on which bagel shop to go to in the hood.

We were staying a hotel on 25th/3rd and this was the closest bagel place across from a Starbucks. so I was quite impressed with the bagels! They were dense and many different kinds of cream cheeses, and with onion/tomato on it… I thought it was very good. Very filling too! I realize that they weren’t a Jewish Kosher bagel place. but we never did end up getting to one of those and honestly I don’t see what was wrong with these bagels! Yum!

Great bagels, easy walk from Union Square. They do put a little too much cream cheese so be careful.

This place is a total ripoff. Be careful when buying nova lox by the pound as they will give you the wrong weight of fish. I will not be going back here again and will definitely never order from them via seamless either.

Awesome bagel spot and now my new spot. Got a Nova sandwich on a garlic bagel with LT, cucumber and chive cream cheese. 13 bucks but definitely worth it and left me very full.

My usual: a poppyseed bagel(toasted) with egg salad, lettuce, and tomato. The employees here are on their game, what you get(both quantity-wise and taste-wise) is great for the price, and when I’m in a rush I can trust them to get me my food in an efficient manner with respect for the fact that we all lead busy, busy lives.

This place had awesome bagels that were loaded with cream cheese! And cheap! It was a block from our hotel so we stumbled in on accident, and boy were we glad we did. Huge salad menu and sandwich menu too. Wish I’d had time to try more stuff!

My rating is purely based off Pick a Bagel’s quality of food. I’ve tried this place a couple times and honestly I never had any issues with service or having my order made wrong or anything… it’s the bagels that just plain suck. They give a generous amount of cream cheese and lox as well, but the bagels just don’t taste good… There’s a variety of spreads to try as well and I tried the strawberry cream cheese spread which was awful lol. If you’re looking to pick up a quick bagel that’s decently priced and you aren’t too picky about how it tastes, you’ve found your place. But in all honesty there are so many other great bagel places to choose from– save yourself the headache.

I have given this place a few tries, regardless of the reviews. I’ll keep it short and sweet. My order is never right, and today even after I asked for salt, pepper, and ketchup twice and the guy at the counter acknowledged it, I still did not get any on my bagel. Today my everything bagel and the bacon on it was way too salty– I had to drink a blender bottle full of water to save my self from drastic dehydration. The bagel was almost inedible, but I was hungry and had no choice. Did I mention that a bacon, egg, and cheese here costs $ 5.75? Yeah, definitely overpriced. Not worth it for the salt explosion my mouth experienced this morning…

I gave up ordering over the phone due Tu they’re incredibly rude personal. I thought it might be a language barrier but they are as rude in person as well. It’s almost like they give it to you for free. Today I went back to get breakfast and trying to get over they’re unprofessionalism I ordered my usual BAGLE and cream cheese. I usually pay cash but today I was hope they’ll be ok making an exception since my order was $ 1 less that what they require for a card purchase. After I was suggested to talk to the manager who I explained that I go there every morning(sometimes 2times a day) and would be nice to make an exception, he refused saying he loses too much money. Apparently more than if I walk away without paying for what I ordered. I guess he preferred to lose a costumer and the food I was going to pay for, rather than make an exception for $ 1 dollar. NEVERGOINGBACK!

simple shop and pretty good price for a bagel place in Chelsea. They have all kinds of cream cheese and bagels. I got the garlic bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese which was pretty good. The bagel was huge and I could only eat half. They also do not skimp on the cream cheese which I love. I did not try anything else. My husband had the egg, bacon and cheese bagel sandwich which he really like and the double chocolate chip muffin which tastes average. I would definitely come back for the different cream cheese and try something else next time!

Came here after the mediocre experience before to just get a no-frills flat bagel toasted with cream cheese. Never again. Not only was the price DIFFERENT than what is stated on the board. The people who work there are incredibly rude. I asked for it to be toasted TWICE, and then I saw him begin to slather my untoasted bagel with cream cheese. I got his attention and said that I wanted it toasted, he then got visibly upset… about a bagel!!! He took the bagel swung his arms and slammed it in the trash, shook his head, and said«I ASKEDYOU» to me… it was almost shocking… Needless to say, I’ll never return and I’ll continue to tell others to never return either. This is NY we have better bagel options on every corner.

Worst customer service. Ever. Made one simple request over the phone to change our order on Seamless but the manager refused to accommodate, making all our lives more difficult. He was rude, snappy and hung up on me. Judging from the other reviews on this page, there is clearly an issue with management here. I highly recommend you take your money elsewhere to a more deserving business. I will be sure that none of my colleagues or friends return to this place.

I like this bagel. Sure, as others have said they give way too much cream cheese sometime. However, its not very hard to just scrape it off… They always get my order right and there is rarely a long line. IT doesn’t hurt that its so close to me. I’ve also tried their salad. The salad was so-so but it was definitely a great value(lettuce + meat + 5 toppings for $ 7). Also, best black and white cookie I’ve had so far(and I’ve had a lot).

I wish I could give this place zero stars. One of those overpriced places where they sell«sandwiches», «bagels», «salads», etc. They make up their pricing based on how the wind is blowing. Got a chicken cutlet sandwich and it turned out to be the most expensive sandwich in NYC I’ve ever had. Told me it was extra for lettuce and tomato. $ 5 extra!!! Wish I would’ve just went two block down to my local GRAMERCYBAGELS. Do not go here and support a business that is just after your wallet. The service is awful, they are rude, inconsiderate, and don’t care about the community. I’d rather go to the 7 – 11 if I were desperate! Just look at the responses that the owner is giving, why would you ever stop foot in this establishment!!! Just an awful awful awful business. Go the GRAMERCYBAGELON20THAND3RD!!!

Went in wanting one bagel, however, later found out that there was a $ 5 minimum for credit cards so came out with five. Bagels here are like the size of my face and nevertheless were still fresh, warm and had that just-made vibe even in the late night hours. PS. $ 5 minimum for credit cards

The customer service at this place is comical to say the least. I was standing about a foot to the right of the register and the guy told me that I was in the wrong place to order. He furthered the comedy by completely acting like he had no idea what the specials were on the board outside their own store. When I asked for a numbered special, he wanted me to have memorized exactly everything on that special to be able to order it. Don’t you know your own advertised special? The breakfast food is decent though– only reason for the 3 stars– if you can put up with comedy hour by the employees.
