Worse NY style pizza ever. Sausage and mushroom thin crust we ordered was pretty sad; toppings did not even cover the 13″ pizza and the meat was maybe a couple of tablespoons full at best. Picked up the first slice and it was like eating raw waffle dough. $ 24 for a two topping personal size pizza was an insult. If not for the tasty calamari and acceptable linguini dinner would had been a total disappointment. Service good, pizza total disappointment. Save your money and indulge in Grimaldi’s or Lombardi’s or even Take and Bake!

Came here from Romania! Best pizza in New York and the service is at it’s best! Very friendly waiters that make you feel welcomed and the pizza is delicious. It makes you say«Mama mia!» *****

About two blocks from our hotel near the United Nations, this place has great food and service at reasonable prices. We had the Chicken Piccata and Herb Crusted Sole, and both were delicious. Nice selection of pizza and pasta dishes also. Highly recommended.

My office always buys from Patsy’s whenever we need food fast or are craving pizza. Great food, the pizza is crisp and crunchy, the cheese is melty and generous and the pasta was creamy and thick. The salads are crisp and the restaurant is always generous with their mini cups of parmesan cheese and chili flakes. The food is always good — even after a few days. Never actually sat inside Patsy’s so I’m not sure how the service is in restaurant, which is why I’m not giving them the full 5 stars.

Yum! Thanks again to Unilocal reviewers, this restaurant was delicious! We had sausage pizza, antipasti and a side of escarole. Everything was delicious! The pizza was perfectly thin crust and the sauce was delicious. So happy we found this restaurant and it was so close to our hotel, the Westin Grand Central.

First off, the manager is a disgrace. He has no intelligence of Italian cuisine and is not an owner of Pasty’s. He refused to place the order upon calling and disputed with me upon arrival. I will never return. This place is not authentic and disgusting.

They have some of the best fried eggplant & zucchini. Also homemade ravioli with a pistachio sauce. Last time we were here we got the pizza it’s super yummy any of those things would be great to order.

Food — excellent. I had the veggie Italia pizza because I was craving vegetables after two days of work meetings where«vegetarian» meant carbs mostly(enriched bleached carbs mostly too — ewww!). The pasta was hand made whole wheat spaghetti and the roasted veggies were delicious. Everything went very well together. Honestly, I would give this place 5 stars except the service bugged me a lot. I told the server that I didn’t eat cheese and while he was joking, he mentioned it like 6 or 7 times asking«can I get you some cheesecake?, do you want some feta cheese on that, do you want some milk?» and some more comments to that extent. I can tolerate one remark, but constantly harping on it while I’m eating is quite annoying. So docking two stars for the service as the servers shouldn’t give the customers a hard time about their personal life choices and preferences.

Patsy’s is a reliable spot for group lunches. I’ve never had to wait for a table, service is great, servings are generous and the food is yummy. My favorite thing to order is a large pie with prosciutto. Two large pies are usually enough to feed a group of 6. You can throw in a small salad or small pasta for good measure. The large pasta servings are HUGE so careful with ordering those! We’ve also ordered pizza from Patsy’s for delivery a few times and they’re good, but I think they’re a bit pricey. There are cheaper but still good pizza options in the neighborhood. Save Patsy’s for the sit down experience.

The three stars is for the food… unfortunately the service is two stars. They greet you well and the wait staff comes to the table fast but do they refill your ice tea? No. Refill water? No. Offer or ask you about desert? No. The pizza is fine… nothing memorable.

Back here today for a big meal as I barely ate all day… I knew exactly what i wanted. The herb crusted sole with garlicky sautéed broccoli and the marinara sauce is to die for an it hit every spot that I expected it to hit. Another hit meal at this fabulous restaurant for which I give it a 5 on 5. Another reason for a flawless rating is their flawless service and super friendly staff which lifts your dining experience that much higher! The bread rolls served as you re ready to order were fresh and a brilliant start to the meal.

First of all this is not Brooklyn so comparison is done to Manhattan pizza stores. We were a group of 20+ and were seated upstairs. Other groups were there and it was a nice environment. So it’s a good place for group lunch. We decided to order pizza for all and single dishes. The fried calamari was good. The boiled one was also not bad. I like the fried ones. Pasta and lasagna was good. I loved the square pizza. White with tomatoes. The cheese in this was really good and tasty. Would definitely go back for this again. Others liked the pizza and we all agreed it was a good place for lunch.

The pizza is great Have eaten here three nights in a row wish we had found it earlier Had the soup tonight it was fantastic The staff really looked after us and remembered who we were, which only a few other places have done and that makes you feel so comfortable if you are from another country Defiantly recommend and another place I will return to when I’m back

I love Patsy’s but after trying the one in Meatpacking and this one in Midtown East, I am convinced that the Harlem one is by far the best one of their franchise and there’s no point in going to Patsy’s if it’s not the one in Harlem. Don’t get me wrong, the pizza here was very good but it just didn’t have the extra special-ness that blew my mind when I first had one of their pies uptown. I also wasn’t really a fan of their eggplant chips. The plating was intricate but I suspect it look so long to plate it that it got soggy by the time it reached out table because it was barely crispy and you know how unappealing fried food is when it looses its crispiness and it creeps into soggy territory.

The pizza here is great! I haven’t had a pizza I liked this much in some time. I had a traditional with mozzarella on top, and sausage and mushrooms. The mushrooms were all chopped up in little pieces so I didn’t taste much of that, but the sausage flavor really came through. The crust was pretty good too — not too doughy. The portabello arugula salad was okay — sliced, grilled portobello on an arugula bed with light drizzle of balsamic vinegar. This is a nice location, very cool, dark wood, relaxed feel.

Good pizza, marred by enthusiastic but useless service. Time from sitting down to drink arriving; 35 freakin’ minutes. Appetiser arrived after pizza, and then only after prompting.

This is a pretty good Italian restaurant that will not break the bank. I was on my way to get more pizza, but since I had that for lunch I decided to get chicken parm with a spaghetti side. There was plenty of food and the chicken parm got them the 4 star. The wine is sort of expensive for me, $ 9 for a glass of inexpensive chianti, but you know that is how it goes. I don’t know how the pizza was, but a couple next to me were having it and it looked good.

Maybe, I have been searching for a pizza that has modern toppings which is why I never reviewed Patsy’s. After years of not going to Patsy’s this afternoon I decided to go back because it is now closer to me. My impression: the thin crust is good but it is a pizza that we all know about and grew up with knowing. It’s not bad, but maybe it would be better if drizzled over with a little olive oil — just like the other pizza place in Brooklyn. I wish it had more mozzarella cheese on it? Nevertheless, it’s not bad because it’s a New York Italian pizza. It’s a pizza — but not as exciting as some other pizzas. I just was not struck by this pizza as a kind that I have to have. It reminds me of the 99 cent version with just a little more cheese served in a restaurant instead of the taken out 99 cent shop.

If you’re going to NYC, getting pizza is a requirement. When its about 10 degrees outside, the closest pizza place to your hotel will have to do. I like the décor of this place. The lighting was a bit dim, but the place seemed pretty clean. There were plenty of tables and getting a large party in here shouldn’t be a problem. The restrooms were cleaned and well maintained. We decided to order a large pizza with mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, and Arugula. The final verdict of the piizza? Not bad, the pizza had a lot of Arugula, but I would of liked more mushrooms. The pizza was pretty fresh and the large size was enough for two hungry people. Would I come back here for their pizza? Probably not as it did not blow me away as other NYC pizzas. The service was okay with nothing much to complain about. I feel that my experience here was pretty average, although that might be due to freezing cold temperatures outside that weekend.
